Such a lovely property and within walking distance of another pub, cafe, village shop. The food in the restaurant and breakfast is lovely and they did 2 4 1 cocktails on the Saturday which were amazing. We stayed in the dog friendly room with terrace which is lovely and spacious, it has a table and chairs so you can sit outside and is easier to take the dog out if they wake up early as the gate opens up into the car park and there is a path to the left which leads onto a grass area.
The only thing I wasn’t keen on were the coffee bags in the room as they are quite strong so I would take my own coffee next time

Everything! From the start as we arrived the lady (Jennifer) was very welcoming and even offered to help us take things up to our room which was kind. She was helpful in her knowledge of the area too. It was a short walk to the beach too. The bed was comfy, the kingsize room was spacious with nice windows and there were plenty of teas and coffees with nice shortbread biscuits and water. Loved the floor sensor lights that came on in the night to light your way in the bathroom too. We had breakfast which was good, good choices for food (a more varied fruit bowl would have been a bit better though). The food was lovely though, several cooked options. We stayed for an evening meal which was lovely and tasty. Hotel has parking too which was helpful. The staff were all very nice and friendly and we liked the happy hour for Tom to serve us lovely cocktails!
The hotel car park wasn't really big enough for all guests as people also come to use the restaurant. There's double yellow lines on the road too, so you have to park around the local roads if you can't park in the main carpark. A couple of minor things really, the shower wasn't that easy to use and it would've been easier to use the hand held shower head if there'd been a higher holder for it. I had to bend to use it at the angle it was or use the rainfall shower head which isn't great if you're not washing your hair. The lighting wasn't great for doing make up which would be more awkward in the winter months. The breakfast fruit bowl would be nice with a just a few berries in such as blueberries or strawberries too.

The rooms, bar/restaurant and friendliness and helpfulness of ALL the staff was outstanding. Beadnell Towers is brilliantly located close to a beautiful sandy beach and within easy travelling distance to many of Northumberland’s attractions and historic sites. We would certainly highly recommend Beadnell Towers.
The only addition which would have been useful is a small lounge specifically for hotel residents to use in the evenings as the restaurant/bar lounge can be very busy. That said, it didn’t detract from our experience and enjoyment of the hotel.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and to a high standard. The decoration of the hotel is superbly done. The food and service in the restaurant was wonderful.
Having to pay for ‘specialty’ coffees at breakfast as an extra charge e.g. pay for a cappuccino/flat white coffee - it should be included in the booking. The coffee in the room was basic also - kettle is a bit old fashioned to use these days. Also, music in the bar/restaurant could be played to add to the ambience - deathly quiet when eating. It was on quiet at one point then was switched off early evening.

The location. The friendly helpful staff. The bathroom The view from the room
One chief found it impossible to cook tuna stake to my request even though the lovely service staff explained in three different ways. The same chief served cold par- boiled egg with liquid cold yolks with the raw tuna. One morning, the toaster didn't work. The same chief appeared to find it difficult to make toast for the few guests down for breakfast and kept them waiting. Other chiefs' food was excellent.

Fabulous staff, food & facilities..ie decor in general. Particularly the Scots gentleman hosting bar & restaurant. Great cocktails. Dogs welcomed and a tastytreat awaits in room.
Other similar standard hotels with same dog ethos put dog bed or sleep pad and a dog bowl in room too. That is something that would have been extra nice and welcoming for fur guests in this standard of facility. But dogs definately welcomed which is nice. Our room window (Beelds) would not stay open. There was a fan but just wanted some air during v hot night. I let reception know & they advised it had been mentioned before by a guest. I am disappointed it was known and not actioned. The room was so hot I struggled to sleep. For that reason, I would visit for restaurant, but not stay, as a higher price facility that did reward the lovely decor, but I could not sleep and had a 6 hour drive home the next day.

Food was fantastic, staff extremely friendly and attentive. The barman (Jamie) went above and beyond. Very engaging and aware of keeping customers happy.
We were hoping to use the spa facility but this however had to be used the day you arrive (if only for one night) we had a walk arranged and had to book in for dinner,, therefore no time to use spa. I think would be good if the guests were able to use the spa facility even on check out day (obvs only that day of check out) with some sort of proof of stay 😔 we understand it's a dog friendly hotel but a guest seemed to take out thier dog out every 15 /20 mins and it was barking each time and being a light sleeper (room close to reception and front door) i didn't get any sleep at all the whole night which was a shame, so had to leave early that morning due to tiredness

Loved the building. Receptionists Maria and Amanda were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - and Amanda went out of her way to make recommendations - and the kitchen/dining room staff team was warm and efficient. The cooked breakfasts were superb. Great location for our adventures!
We would have liked fresh milk in our room and replenishment of sparkling/still water each time the beds were made up. A little jug of fresh milk - provided on request - was left to go sour rather than cleared away. We also found we couldn't park in the car park on several occasions, so perhaps spaces linked with rooms would be an idea? Also, we would have liked the library room to be TV-free, to provide a quiet space beyond our room.

All the staff without exception, were brilliant, very friendly and helpful, it was very pleasing to see many smiling faces who all made our stay very comfortable and extremely enjoyable.
Just one issue with our room. Although we haven’t got a dog, we were in a dog friendly room, as it was the only one available. The issue we had was concerning a safety item in the bathroom. We did mention our concerns to Jane (I think) the receptionist, when we left, who said she would forward our comments.

Restaurant was excellent and a great breakfast. Room was rustic but comfortable if you are ok with a flagstone floor A rush mat might have helped and been in keeping with the decor though slippers were provided.
Only issue, which we pointed out, was the lack of a plug point close enough to the mirror to use the hairdryer without pulling the plug out of the socket. Bedside tables are a little small if, like me, you have an assisted breathing CPAP machine for sleeping.
