A warm and friendly welcome from our Host in this beautiful house! We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, the lovely garden and all the extra little touches provided. Perfect weather and a great base from which to explore the coastal area. Our Host gave us lots of information before we arrived and whilst we were there which was much appreciated and helped us fully explore the area. Would definitely recommend.

It wasn't a really big deal, but my Wife didn't bring her own hairdryer as the information said one was provided. The hairdryer provided in our twin room was wall mounted and wasn't very powerful so she ended up borrowing our friends plug-in hairdryer from their room once they'd finished with it. A lesson learnt for her perhaps to always bring her own!

Fantastic homely property situated within walking distance to the high street but within a quiet side road. On arrival we found there was plenty of parking directly outside. We were warmly greeted by Audrey who was as welcoming as the house. The room (Rm 5) was lovely, spacious, well equipped with a large comfy bed and lots of light. Standouts - Location, great breakfast choices, excellent room. Cleanliness was first rate with fresh towels and cleaning service daily. Audrey, the host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was any trouble. Although listed as a B and B the service was on par with a hotel, highly recommend and thank you for a lovely visit.

I loved the beautiful building, full of character and charm. Audrey was delightful, friendly and fun and so welcoming and warm. Tom was also friendly as were the breakfast staff. Breakfast was exceptional, a wide choice of high quality products cooked well and served hot. I had scrambled eggs & salmon one morning and boiled eggs with soldiers the next. Both mornings I had delicious muesli, fruit with greek yoghurt & honey, juice & tea. The location is ideal, we caught local buses to Alnmouth & Warkworth & enjoyed the bookshop in Alnwick & the pubs and restaurants were fab.

The breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice and the service was excellent. The dining room was spacious and well presented. The bedroom was also spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and with lots of attention to detail. The bathroom was clean, tidy and had all the necessary features. The location of the b&b couldn't be better. The town centre, amenities and places of interest were within walking distance. There were spaces to park the car directly outside the b&b on a quiet side street. Audre, Sara and Tom were excellent hosts and were very helpful with lots of local knowledge and a good supply of tourist leaflets. The house had lots of character and was obviously well loved by the owners. The garden was neat and well maintained. The sitting area was convenient, well presented with comfortable furniture and a supply of books were available if required.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice and good portions. The room was really comfortable and lots of lovely useful extras in the bathroom were provided. And an excellent shower. I had two of the best nights sleep I have had for ages! Also to mention, the surrounding area is very quiet so nothing to disturb us in the night. We were made to feel very welcome by Audrey and her family and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back to stay with them if they will have us!

We loved everything!

We stayed 7 nights in the twinned room. The room had all we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful place in a great location in a quiet residential area. Walking distance to town & bus station. Audrey is a wonderful host. & leads a great team,Tom, who cooks all the lovely breakfast & Sarah, who serves up. We had a very enjoyable stay & introduction to the area. We will stay here again

The owner and family were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was cooked beautifully and exactly as we ordered. The house and garden was like home from home and we were very well looked after. Complimentary mead was a real treat after a day sightseeing. The location allowed us to visit a number of places in Alnwick and to enjoy the local restaurants without having to get in the car.

A warm welcome in a quiet spot a short walk from Alnwick's centre (with its surprising number of good quality restaurants) and the castle. Good choice of freshly prepared food for breakfast in a room looking on to the attractive garden. We had a spacious, well furnished and quiet room. Several other guests were return visits, which speaks for itself.

The house and room were absolutely gorgeous, extremely clean, with a beautiful, relaxed feeling to the place. The host was so helpful, and positive, helping with locations to visit and recommendations to eat.

It's not about not liking something more that we never appreciated the need to book a table in the restaurants locally, so highly recommend doing this before you visit. Oh! Pillows, I really wish I'd taken my own pillow, as they were far too soft.

Beautiful house and furnishings. Quiet residential road. 2 min walk into town. Comfortable room. Everything you may need during your stay. Audrey is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. Her son Tom cooks the most delicious breakfasts. Great choice. Alnwick is a great base to explore the beautiful coastal path. The bus station is a 5 min walk and offers a great service.
