The bed was so comfortable! Lovely white cotton bedding. Generous tea / coffee tray. So close to the town. Very nice well appointed bathroom, shower very good, toiletries provided, big white towels. The overall presentation of the room, it has a very nice look. The building itself is very old and beautiful, again beautifully presented. Loved the stone patio and seating at the front. We did use the outdoor seating. Good use of storage/ hanging space, functional furniture. And the whole property was exceptionally clean.

Although the size of the room was on the smaller side and the traffic was noisy, the owners can’t change those things so it was fine. But I do think a 10 o’clock check out time is too early. Especially on a Sunday. Could the owners extend this?

Very clean and tidy everything you need for a stay (could have done with a clothes iron though if staying a while ) In a great spot if your going to Alnwick Garden only a few minutes walk away and also good for parking .In a quite area and close to a nice couple of bars . A few good restaurants around as well. Great for jumping on a bus to go to the coast or where you want. Well recommend this place .

All fine in the property, there are quite a few shops in the centre but sadly like most cities and towns a lot of vacant premises , people buying online and high property rents and rates have closed down the small independent shops of which there were lots of here .

Beautiful house. So clean and the little touches made it so welcoming. Very central for people. The girls who cleaned the house made sure we had everything we needed by asking us each day. This is so good as the owners aren't on site and by them doing this we didn't do without anything. Contacted the owner to seeing we could stay an extra night. Even though they were out the country on their own holiday they were so accommodating and arranged an extra night for us. At the age of 50 and having travelled alot I can honestly hand on heart say that 4 days in Alnwick only a few miles from home were one of the best breaks I've had. The first room we were in at the back of the property was like being in a little cocoon away from a stressful life! Thank you both!

We're doing a bit of a Wedding Anniversary Roadtrip, so I only booked two nights before moving on. My husband's first comment when we entered the room was, 'Can we stay here all week?' The room was a good size, beautifully furnished and equipped, and spotlessly clean. We'd had a long drive, with more driving to come, so it was important for us to have a day where we could get anywhere we needed to go on foot. This was ideal.

The shower doors didn't leave a lot of space to get in. Lovely shower, though!

I stayed in Tate house a good few years ago n had the whole top floor, which was very comfortable. I remembered Leo having it on his own then, n he made us feel very welcome. Bondgate boutique is also owned by Leo n charlotte. It is just across the road. This is why we tried It and we were not disappointed. The location was fab. Cleanliness was top quality. The ease of check-in n out was also great. Also, free parking abs spot on. Even though it was a tight lane. Definitely recommend both b&b's. I will defo be back again. Maybe not leaving as long next time.

I can't really say there was anything. Just some feedback, really. It would have been great if their had been a top flat sheet on the bed. As it was 22 degrees when we stayed. So, I had to take the quilt out of the quilt cover to rest the cover over us thru the night. As it was far too hot each night to have the quilt on the bed. I spoke to the cleaners to ask if they did just a top sheet, n she said, unfortunately, not. She also told me that the other room opposite did exactly the same. This would maybe be beneficial in the future.

Very well located for all of Alnwick’s sights and across the road from a lovely micropub. The room was compact but well furnished, the bed was very comfortable and nice tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits supplied. We were able to store our luggage on our last day which was great. Very clean and maintained well. On balance a good value choice.

The room temperature varied - oddly. On arrival (5ish) the radiator was on and the room was warm. When we returned around 10.30pm it was ice cold, the en suite doubly so. The following day we used a fan heater to warm up in the morning but then found the radiator was on anyway. The bathroom extractor fan ran for about 30 minutes, loudly, another waste of energy.

The location was perfect for us a few steps from the wonderful Barter Bookstore, the Playhouse and the Plough which we made good use of. I had been poorly and needed a change of scene where everything was in easy reach and I could potter about and the Bondgate Boutique was just right. The rooms were lovely, ours Room 4 was ground floor at the back away from the street and so quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable with a lovely king size bed. I thought it was great value for money we will return and would highly recommend it. Check in and parking was easy and our room was cleaned and everything fully replenished during the next morning.

This beautiful property situated at the heart of Alnwick was just perfect for an overnight visit to the Castle and Garden. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, the owners were very communicative and helpful when it came to leaving our bags beyond checkout. Great value for money, I would recommend it wholeheartedly for those wanting a room for the night in order to explore this magnificent town.

Perfect for my short stay. I stayed in a quiet clean and what one might describe as a cosy room, located at the rear of the property on the ground floor with a very comfy (soft) double bed, small cupboard storage for clothes and a small ensuite bathroom. Good daily room cleaning service. I would however recommend selecting or requesting a larger room if travelling with a partner. For example, the front rooms at the front of the property looked significantly more spacious light and airy.

Would have been nice if the room could be equipped with a small ironing board and iron for ironing clothes, along with a room safe. This was fine however for my short stay, given the excellent location.

Our stay at The Bomdgate Boutique was 5 " .It was excellent . Loved the location .Our room was SPOTLESS. Loved everything about this Hotel . 1st time my husband and I, have stayed at this hotel . We were r.eally impressed . Excellent value for money . We will be returning to The Bondgate Boutique , " LOVED OUR STAY " Thankyou x . 😊
