Located in a quiet village. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our room (ground floor, situated in the "annex") was spotless, very comfortable and modern. The bathroom fittings were modern and the shower powerful. The breakfast was simply superb. The pub itself serves a good selection of ales and lagers and the dinner menu is a cut above normal in their originality whilst being good value for money.

Two very minor things - couldn't see a shower mat (so used one of the several hand towels) and - something which is common to 95% of hotels I've been in - the instant coffee is Nescafe Original i.e. it's probably Robusta and not Arabica. Quality coffee is v important to me!!

B&B to a very high standard with excellent food in the gastropub - the kitchen staff really know what they're doing - and friendly, polite service. One of the best we've been to.

There's not much to criticise about the Three Cranes. It's almost perfect. Being picky, if the hosts would like to improve anything, we would suggest bigger, fluffy bath towels rather than the thin, scratchy ones that everywhere seems to use these days. Also the flat screen TV in the room is quite small.

The positive experience started with the parking - simple and secure. I was greeted by a very welcoming staff who quickly helped me find my room and get my things organised before escorting me to the pub-restaurant for a truly amazing meal. The ambience was great, the bed was comfortable and I felt refreshed for my busy next day. I would happily return here!

Wifi was a bit patchy but it didn't make a big difference to me truth be told.

The Three Cranes is a popular local pub with rooms. Our room was well-appointed and reasonably comfortable - another chair would have been nice. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste and creaked quite loudly when sitting or lying down. The food (breakfast included and dinner) was excellent. Landlord and staff all very friendly. Will happily stay again, when we next visit family in Turvey.

Everything, we could not fault this lovely delightful pub/restaurant. From walking in to a friendly smile, the offer of advise, the restaurant even stayed open for us when we were slightly late. The evening meal was cooked to perfection, we both had sirloin steak which was exceptional. Breakfast was equally as delightful, would highly recommend this to anyone.

nothing, it was a perfect stay

Almost everything. The owners were very friendly as were the waiting staff and the ambience of the bar area and restaurant were very pleasant. We will come again when we visit the area next.

The only thing was the light and fan to the shower room came on as you opened the door, which being an older person and having the need to use the facility in the middle of the night was a little annoying for my wife as it woke her up. However this did not out way the good things.

We absolutely loved three cranes! It was beautiful and cozy in a quiet village like place the room was lush and cozy. The cooked breakfast was amazing, so delicious along with a selection of fruits and cereals and tea coffee/orange juice! We didn’t even get to say bye in the morning but thank you for having us we definitely enjoyed our stay!!xxx

We liked everything to be honest, a beautiful building in a pretty village, a bar with friendly staff a fabulous restaurant, a stylish bedroom and shower room that were spotlessly clean, a key to get into our building without disturbing anybody, Parking on site and a garden.

Friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms, using the Three cranes theme, good range of beers on tap and excellent food. Turvey village is very picturesque around the pub and it is well used by the community, giving a good atmosphere.

There was nothing bad

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfy and nice selection as of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, water & biscuits in the room.

No air conditioning, which would have been ok if I hadn’t stayed on the hottest day of the year, but there was a fan which helped.
