The staff at Mitchell Hall were all very professional and courteous. Very accommodating. I contacted the team prior to arrival and my request was dealt with very quickly. 100% customer service. The rooms were well presented and very clean. We had 2 doubles and a twin room. Lovely spacious bathroom. Shower brilliant with plenty hot water. Check in was smooth and quick. The location was 20 minutes from National Bowls. Parking available on grounds. Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful dining room. Hot and cold selection. Outside area lovely tables and chairs to sit out and smoking area. Totally recommend and managed to rebook for next year. My first choice when in Milton Keynes.

NOTHING perfect stay

Very clean accommodation with the basics provided. The staff were friendly and the venue was peaceful despite there being events like a wedding. Breakfast was nice and there was a mixture of hot and cold continental breakfast. There is a bar and restaurant on site and WiFi throughout. The accomodation is located a 3 minute walk from co op and a kebab van (Jimmy's) comes outside the co op each evening. I needed an iron and one was provided at the front desk. I did however have to carry both the iron and iron board up to the room myself

Would benefit from a small fridge in the room. There should have been more non-pork alternatives for sausages and bacon with breakfast and the tea and coffee was not good.

Ideal if attending a conference next door at the management centre. Pleasant quiet location. I could have booked accommodation at the management centre itself, but staying just next door did allow me to retire more easily from time to time to recharge my social battery away from the events

For some reason I expected to be able to find things like built-in USB chargers in the rooms. The breakfast was a mixed bag. I went down shortly after 7.30am when I believe it starts and some of the items like the bacon weren't exactly piping hot

Location was really good for us as we both drive. Stayed 2 nights bed and breakfast and both enjoyed our stay. The room was great, really clean and had everything you needed. Loads of storage for your belongings, hairdryer, shower gel, towels, kettle with tea and coffee, even had a fan if it was too warm 😊 Breakfast was so good. Cooked breakfast, chopped fruit, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, toast and tea or coffee 😊

The only fault we had was the bed was a little hard for us oldies 😆

The room was very comfortable with a big desk, which was invaluable as I was working every night. The room was cleaned and 'reset' daily with a better than average supply of tea & coffee. The reception staff were brilliant and remembered my name every morning - a really personal touch. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff were lovely.

The only thing missing was a downstairs coffee lounge. I only say that as when I stayed in the building next door the week before, that was provided. Apart from that (which is being really picky) everything was spot on.

Beautiful building inside and out. Comfy bed, lights and radiators worked nicely (not always the case in places I've stayed) and the room was clean and nicely furnished. Free WiFi was great. Shop a few hundred yards along the road. I didn't use any facilities but it was very welcoming, including the lovely receptionist.

As a single traveller, nothing. The room was advertised as a double and would have been a bit small for two people but it may be that I was given a smaller room being alone. Just something I'd check if I was travelling with a partner.

I was a student from Sep 2023 to Sep 2024, so I know the restaurant and the bar service well. The food was okay, and the bar was good for chatting. The bed was good. I don't like the overhead shower because it's hard to avoid not washing my hair sometimes. I want to hold the shower head if it is possible. I would suggest that travelers bring their own toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, and slippers.

There is no lift. I just had a hand-carry suitcase, so it was fine. But on May 24, I had a friend traveling from Hong Kong for a three-week short course, and he had a big suitcase. We found it hard to carry the suitcase from the ground floor to the first floor.

Again, clean and tidy room, bathroom was great, nice and clean! Breakfast is fantastic, but really could do with an early bird option? Could we get a bookable 06:30 option??

I love staying here so here is my wish list to make it better! I was in room 20 and it's starting to show it's age. The bin was rusty, some of the bathroom trim was missing, check the shower tray. And each room needs a bigger TV!! They are so cheap now, why 21" when a 40"+ is available for peanuts!🤷

Friendly welcome. Great breakfast. All you need in a bedroom: Hospitality tray, comfy bed, easy chair, TV and plenty of sockets in right places. Decent shower. Mostly quiet. Nice area to sit out with a drink in the evening.

Lighting was not great. For accommodation that might be used by people on a course a decent light over/on the desk for working would be good. Overhead light in bathroom was not much use for seeing to have a shave in the mirror. Poorly adjusted self closers on fire doors mean people let them slam hard and loud. Cleaning staff between 9-10am were perhaps using this as a hint too?

Lovely staff, easy late check-in, and everything is well-maintained and clean.

The heating was off when we arrived, so we had to borrow a heater from reception. Additionally, it cost £30 for a late checkout of just one hour, and the regular checkout time was 10 a.m., which felt quite early considering we arrived at 12:30 p.m. In Europe, checkout usually seems to be at 12 p.m., making this hotel feel a bit old-fashioned. If the heating had been on and the checkout either later or cheaper to extend, I would have given the hotel top marks.
