The room was beautiful, but we did opt for a deluxe. It was very spacious with a large comfy four poster bed and a bigger screen TV which you don't often get in hotels. The staff were lovely and on hand for any problems. For example, when I couldn't get the hairdryer to work, they sent housekeeping immediately with another. It turns out I wasn't operating correctly.

We had a view of the waterfall, which was relaxing, but on our second day, it wasn't running. The room was also very warm. Even though it cooled outside, the room retained the stifling heat! I would certainly visit again, just in cooler months.

We only did a one night stay, arriving later and leaving very early so didn't take advantage of any restaurant/bar facilities. However, the check in process was easy and we received a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Although we didn't take advantage of the outside, the areas were really attractive and well looked after. The location was perfect for our purpose with only a short stroll to the station in the morning. Excellent value for money, especially as it was Silverstone weekend. We would certainly book again if appropriate for travelling within the area.

I contacted the hotel to ensure a quiet room. The staff were brilliant and communicated well regarding the various rooms, better than any hotel I had stayed at before. Decor was very nice. Room was very spacious and comfortable with a nice Juliet balcony

Breakfast first morning was not up to par for the standard of the hotel, e.g., bacon dry, eggs over cooked etc, I assume it had all been prepared in advance and left until someone ordered it. Second morning was just left to self serve from kettles. Bathroom sink had a large carack. Room was not made up.

Visiting son and family for Christmas. They joined us for a meal on Christmas Eve, which was lovely. Huge room in the Manor House. Very spacious and we slept really well. Location brilliant, as had Christmas dinner at the Anchor, which is just over the road. Stayed Christmas night too - breakfast was brilliant, both mornings. Staff were friendly. Altogether a pleasant experience!

Heating didn’t work in bathroom ,we made staff aware, but it was quite mild so didn’t see the need to disturb someone’s Christmas to fix it. Second time I’ve stayed here - it still bugs me paying £5 per night parking.

My partner and I never seem to have any luck when it comes to hotels but this one was just perfect! Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with a friendly face. We were given complimentary parking and a drink for my partner's birthday! The room was wonderfully decorated and spacious, hot water came on immediately which doesn't even happen at home. We were staying at the hotel for a murder mystery evening so we had a few drinks in the lounge whilst we waited. All the staff were chatty, friendly and happy to help in any way. The building was simply beautiful, 100% recommend!

We have stayed here a few times, and it is always good value. The breakfast is always very good. The shower is always hot, Location wise it is good. We stayed this time to do some Christmas shopping in Milton Keynes.

It appears that there has been a change of management. We didn't recognise any of the staff, and the lady who checked us in, and served us at the bar seemed a little unsure of what she was doing. The gentleman on duty walked around with his hands in his pockets the whole time, which didn't create a good impression. I am not sure why we have to pay for parking when you are a guest?

Lovely peaceful setting. I sat next to the waterfall in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. I was travelling for a training and I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel on my own so was well out of my comfort zone but the staff were so warm and welcoming and I felt really relaxed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Arranged for soya milk in my room and an iron and ironing board were promptly delivered to my room.

Very nice looking building. Next to a restaurant and a pub with walking routes surrounding it, nice waterfall feature with fish pond. Inside and outside seating area for drinks or food. The staff were all absolutely lovely, Charlotte was really great and changed the time slot of our breakfast easily and was very attentive. Breakfast was also super tasty

A little bit dated. Everything worked and was clean but looked a tad dated up the stairs

They were having trouble with their Wi-Fi which made checking in tricky. I was travelling with my 9 year old grandson for whom the internet was a must! The staff were very helpful, they moved us to another room which was lovely. Dinner was great and we ate outside near the fishpond. Beds were comfy - so much so, that we overslept and missed breakfast. The receptionist kindly made me a cappuccino, my grandson a fruit juice and provided biscuits. I would stay here again.

First room, mainly because of a the lack of Wi-Fi and TV reception, also the toilet did not flush very easily. On a normal day - it was still a nice room!

Have to say the location in the village with options of food on an evening are great, the rooms a comforatable and clean but a little dated in decor but not shabby at all, for the money I paid for a room for two overnight stays it fitted the 'bill £' . Such a nice village location just off the motorway without the road noise and clinical naturure of chain type hotels, I would not hesitate in recommending it to colleagues, friends and I will stay here again without hesitation, the staff were happy to help

Please see above, a little dated but clean, I stayed in the Annex, the sound transmission between the rooms was high, cannot really find any other faults as I only booked a room only and just really needed a bed for my stay in the area.
