Nothing to complain about,staff all very polite and helpful Only downside was the lack of heating in our room on arrival on Saturday which wasn’t rectified until arrival of manager on Monday morning Evidently heating is controlled by a single thermostat on the ground floor.suggest Green King look into installing a separate zone valve for the bedroom areas

Lovely hotel in Woburn. They have rooms in the main building or over the pub. The room are simply decorated but nice with all the necessities. The building is old so expect some cracking and uneven floors, which is also good ts charm. Breakfast is very good. Recommended

Make sure you ask for a room in the main building if you want some tranquility. I was there on some week days and the pub was closing at 11PM so it didn’t disturb me but it could be different if you go early to bed

Friendly staff, Catherine on reception was so welcoming. Room was dated but spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfy night. Good value for money Central location in Woburn with free parking. Nice breakfast. I thought it was a charming old building and would stay here again for future visits to the area.

The room was quite dated. Be aware hotel is on main road through Woburn so there will be traffic noise if you’re at the front of the hotel.

Location for us was excellent with visits to Bletchley Park and Stowe Gardens. The staff were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Woburn is a nice place to stay, a variety of eating places. Easy parking at hotel and although right on the road it was quiet at night and not difficult to cross for breakfast. The meals we had at the Bell were good, breakfast freshly cooked.

If you had windows open the early morning traffic noise.

The staff were excellent. The young man who greeted us wa very reassuring nd explained everything very clearly. The room was clean and comfortable. They also provided a much needed fan. The breakfast was really good and all the staff serving the evening meal and breakfast were so friendly and polite.

My husband has balance problems and in the shower there was no shower mat, but they did have a hand rail. That is my only criticism.

The level of cleanliness. Lots of dust by the bed and someone's hair on tiles by bath and sink. Then in the restaurant there was thick cobwebs on windows and dead wasps and flies in the webs. So we cancelled the 2nd evening meal. We had 3 wasps harassing us throughout the meal but none of the windows opened to let them out.

Clean, comfortable, good facilities in room. Friendly staff. Hotel restaurant over the road serving lovely evening meals. Good selection of drinks. Car park at rear of rooms. Nice beer garden.

Room very warm but had fan which helped. Room at front of building which was quite noisy with road outside. Had breakfast on one morning hot water for tea was lukewarm, small selection of pastries.

We stayed at the The Bell for a couple of days for a wedding that was nearby and we had a fantastic stay. Beds were super comfy and the surrounding area was so quiet, I had a great nights sleep. Catherine at reception went above and beyond for us, she really made us feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us! The Bell pub was just across the road where we had breakfast (which was included) and dinner both nights we stayed. The food was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly at breakfast.

Nothing, all round had a fantastic stay!

lovely friendly staff, very helpful and polite, including the kind staff running the pub over the road, the only issues were the outdatedness, the keys are a bit of a hassle when you're used to door locking behind you at hotels, the bathroom in the single rooms are very small not much space to move.. but the bed is very comfortable, I know its an older building but the plumbing is very loud I could hear other rooms a lot through the night. but overall it was fine x

Excellent location in a small pretty town, very convenient for access to Woburn Safari Park. Like the shops, eateries and park. Good food from Bell pub. Decent breakfast, very good smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, tasty risotto with sea bass and scallops, and belly pork for lunch.

Location of our room was not to our liking. Being in front of the building by the main road meant it was noisy from traffic. There was no ventilation in room so it was hot and stuffy.
