I travelled here with my sister and we would definitely stay here again. Staff are helpful (but sometimes thin on the ground) and the whole ambiance of the hotel is great. We ate there and really enjoyed our meal. Its location in the village of Woburn is ideal and car parking is adjacent to the hotel and very private. Rooms were quiet - there were no weddings etc and although it was a bank holiday weekend it never felt overcrowded or boisterous. Overall a lovely place to stay.

We didn't have breakfast - £20 per person seems a bit OTT for the amount we eat and you can get a coffee and croissant down the road. The restaurant was busy and service a bit on the slow side in the evening but this wouldn't put me off staying here in the future.

Hotel was stunning. Liked how each room was named after a notable person - this added character. Very nicely decorated throughout. Has a real wow-factor. The room had all the facilities and extra's we needed. Good clean grounds with great access to a large car park and outdoor seating. Food was great. Very healthy options. Staff were very nice and friendly.

The hot water in the shower was too luke-warm/ on the cold side. Would have been nice to have a hot shower. The food quality at Breakfast was good, but a bit pricey, especially as we paid at Check - in/ on arrival. I enjoyed the breakfast, but he would have liked to see more varied fruit available and a non-pork full English Breakfast option available. E.g. with Beef.

Located next to the Woburn Estate and Abbey with the herds of deer roaming freely which provided a beautiful backdrop. The courtyard at The Woburn was very welcoming and always with many family groups with their ( well behaved ) dogs. We enjoyed many a drink there. The village is very quaint and worth strolling along. Meals at the Woburn, including breakfast, were exceptional and very good value. We stayed in a courtyard room which was very spacious and warm and the bathroom was quite large compared to other accommodation.

The meals were wonderful, our compliments and thanks to the kitchen staff. In fact everything on the ground floor worked extremely well

Whereas on the 1st floor: 1. The internet was dreadful, very difficult to get and hold a signal. Not what we expected. 2. Plumbing in our bathroom, left a lot to be desired, especially the toilet. 3. No face cloths provided. 4. No telephone, either to contact other guests or hotel staff.

I was very happy with The Woburn, the room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom had everything we needed. The breakfast was very tasty with a range of different options. I would recommend.

My wife had contacted the hotel to request that a bottle of Prosecco be put in our room before arrival. This didn't happen and she had to call me to tell me that it was supposed to have happened, so that I could then go and have it brought to us. This was a shame. As she wasn't with us, if she hadn't called me, she would have paid for it for nothing. Fortunately, we were able to rectify this, but this was a bit disappointing.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and would highly recommend. It's in a great location in a lovely village with free parking, rooms are lovely especially the exec rooms and suites, food is top quality, staff are very friendly. Excellent value for money overall.

The only very minor issue we had this time was with the TV in our room that we had to tune in ourselves and couldn't get BBC channels. We didn't report this as it wasn't a big issue for us, but it could be for someone else, so we thought it worth sharing.

Breakfast was ok but very little cut fruit and cereal choice . Toaster didn’t work well . Toast wouldn’t fit ? Our room was comfy but our pillows hard . The room was a reasonable space but not big the bathroom was tiny and very tricky getting in and out of the bath to take a shower . Really not acceptable considering what we paid ! But a great location . Lovely staff .

Rooms are individual but small in areas . One had a flight of stairs down to it . Ours had a tiny bathroom. Realise that this is an old building with limitations but still think there is acceptable and too tight ? Sign saying can’t drink the tap water ? This is really unusual and again not really accept

I really like to stay in character hotels that have some individuality and The Woburn ticked that box very well. The overall feel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Access from the car park was easy and there was plenty of parking space. The breakfast selection was fine and the dining area very comfortable.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. We didn't book directly with the hotel, and the hotel used that as an 'excuse' (explanation) as to why they couldn't offer any assistance when our travel plans looked like being upset by disruption in France. I suspect that it wouldn't have cost the hotel anything to have reassured us that they would have helped us out if we arrived a day late or early. As it turned out, we managed to arrive at our planned time, but the hotel missed a chance to leave an even better impression. Although the cooked breakfast selection was fine (we had a veggie option) the food was barely warm and served on what seemed to be cold plates. Again another minor area that could have turned 'Pretty Good' into 'Excellent'.

The hotel couldn't have been better placed in Woburn town centre. Literally within walking distance of everything you needed - as long as that was eating and drinking as there isn't a great deal else to do! Hotel was clean and well laid out, staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the lovely girl on reception, and the food was very good. The only downside was that the restaurant was overlooked by the kitchen so it did feel a bit like a canteen. Other than that, very satisfied with the hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

One slight disappointment was that the restaurant was overlooked by the kitchen counter which gave it a bit of a canteen vibe - not ideal for a romantic weekend away if that was your intention! Other than that, no complaints at all.

Good breakfast. Viktor(the waiter) at restaurant was very good & attentive. Decent lunch. Lean available choices of cocktails but beers and wines made up for it. Really good location. Walks around property was enjoyable.

Nothing for kids-no games room, no outdoor play area etc given that most visitors to the hotel will be families staying over for their visit to Woburn Safari park. Reception staff told off our kid for talking in corridor but to be honest, we know our kids very well. They are always speaking in low voices and have decent civic sense for their age thus, I felt this was very uncalled for by the reception staff. We booked 4 rooms and expected them to be at same floor and adjacent but we had 2 up and 2 down rooms far away from each other. Not ideal again !
