The history and the age of the Inn. Also it is right in the middle of Old Woburn. The staff were great and the food was excellent. We stayed inside the main building, which was rustic, worm and comfortable. We have stayed in one of the courtyard rooms before, when we brought our dog with us; this was also worm and comfortable. Parking is not an issue, as the Inn has its own off road parking.

Having to leave the room at 10:00 a.m. However, if you ask nicely and if they are not fully booked, sometimes you can extend the room for an hour or even a bit longer.

Good on-street parking (although the hotel has its own small carpark through a narrow access). Small friendly bar. Shower was powerful and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Access to the room was via steep narrow stairs, but this is to be expected in a property of this vintage. Likewise, the room was a little small and the bathroom looked a little tired, although the function and cleanliness were perfectly fine.

Clean and warm and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially the barmaid who was extremely helpful and friendly. Several places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes walk. Nice quiet carpark. Great location.

If I had to say anything, we were hopeful of an evening meal, but the kitchen was closed (The landlady was lovely and did offer to cook a bar snack for us). However, there are plenty of places to eat nearby which are good, all within 2 or 3 minutes walk.

Great location and free off road parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and the room had blackout curtains. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer were provided in the room.

There wasn't a shelf in the bathroom and there was a little bit of mould on a few tiles in the bathroom.

A beautiful olde Inn style hotel. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Given my room which was booked as a single. I was given room 4. It was ideal as a short stay. Excellent read on the history of the Inn. Quite fascinating going back through the ages to before 1066. Overall very impressed with the hotel and would certainly use this inn again. Breakfast was £9.99 on top.

Not a lot to say I did not like. My only point possibly would be a bigger shower. Not the biggest in the world but certainly acceptable.

Modernised but it’s an ancient inn, cute, lots of original features, not soul-less like the “chainstore” hotels. The room had new ensuite facilities & everything works as it should. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR ! Good value single, and big enough ! Good on site parking, close to the M1, but in the town-centre. Woburn is a very interesting little town with many small businesses & a museum, as well as many good walks, and the park, zoo & abbey nearby (Abbey currently closed for refurb. Check website).

Nothing really ! I’d have benefitted from a chair in the window-space, there’s roof for one.

Owner was dismissive. Also expects a guest to care he has to work and keep the bar open past 20:00 hours!!!! Be warned you will not get back from anywhere to relax after 8pm

Lovely little hotel, great location, friendly staff, maybe could do with a little update in areas,but enjoyed our stay, warm, clean and comfortable room with nice tasty breakfast to finish off, would definitely return.

Amazing place to stay, staff were amazing, stayed for 3 nights, beautiful building with lots of history, had the chance to meet some of the locals at the bar who made us feel at home and we had some good laughs, the full English breakfast was amazing also..10/10

The room was lovely, well appointed and clean. Plenty of hot water and using the car charger made a huge difference to my trip. If I need a room in the area again I will certainly stay here.

The 'downside' was that my room was barely serviced throughout my stay. It was only a few days so it didn't matter to me but might to others. I got a top up of milk and biscuits a couple of times but not much else. I also failed to find anyone to check out so had to leave the keys in the letterbox. I suspect shortage of staff.
