The room was beautiful as was the view from it. The bathroom is spectacular, large bath a separate shower and double sinks. The decoration went well together and it has such an authentic feel to the room. The rooms are large with high ceilings and in the day it was very bright. The pricing for the night I stayed was competitive with local hotels but much more worth the experience than a clinical hotel. I am glad I chose to stay there The staff were all lovely, polite, and helpful, and breakfast was great. The whole place was clean and airy and just a delightful place to stay. I would most definitely stay again and recommend anyone staying in Bedford to experience it at least once.

As someone with poor vision, I didn't particularly favour the lighting, very moody, dull, and yellow, but this is very complimentary to the aesthetic of the room. I just struggled at night doing makeup and feeling comfortable. The portraits above the bed and in the bathroom scared me lol! Goes well with the room but I am superstitious and just felt on edge about eyes on me lol. Hardly real gripes but just my experience, I still absolutely enjoyed my stay.

Easy booking and check in, plus we had booked a table in restaurant and that was lovely. Clear explanation of keys etc. including how to get in when restaurant is closed. Room decor is quirky and fun, and the large bathroom with double-sized bath was a fabulous addition. Facilities were clean and well-stocked. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were friendly and accommodating.

Surprised that the bathroom windows weren't frosted - this could very easily be achieved and would provide more privacy. Curtains in the bedroom were broken - the member of staff was apologetic and clearly explained how they could still be used, however I would suggest rectifying this would help it not detract from the experience.

Beautiful little place right on the river, big room and lovely big bath right in front of the window overlooking the river. Big bed and ideally located just outside the main town centre. Fantastic staff and lovely welcome especially from Liame who cleans the rooms. SO friendly and will return.

The main radiator in the bedroom wasn't on and we couldn't get it to work, wasn't a problem at all and we didn't tell anyone as we were too busy enjoying the hotel. If we have I'm sure it would've been sorted.

The shower was incredible, like a tropical waterfall. The bed was gigantic and the bedding was high quality. There was a coffee machine with 4 coffee shots. The room also had a hair dryer and an iron available.

The room was very dimly lit everywhere. This was mostly nice, but I wish there was a way to turn on bright lights for doing hair/makeup in the morning, especially in the bathroom. There were also only 4 small milk shots available for use with the coffee machine, which, as someone who likes lattes, I thought was a little sparse.

My trip to Bedford was unplanned and involved some challenges, but my mood changed 180 degrees when my husband and I got to this hotel. Lovely and very spacious room by UK standards, I also absolutely adored the decor not only in the room but the whole hotel. On top of all that, there is a great restaurant on the first floor with reasonable prices and delicious red pepper soup, and there is a whole vegan menu - it was definitely a pleasant surprise. All in all, the hotel saved my spirits and made the trip to Bedford a pleasant memory!

Location is next to the river and lovely. Rooms are above the restaurant. There is no lift, so be aware if you have heavy bags. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was huge and beautiful, well decorated and well appointed. Had a coffee machine, and tea/coffee/hot chocolate, plus plenty of water. Stunning bathroom. Didn't hear the bar downstairs. Huge bath and huge bed.

The wifi didn't reach the bedroom, room 5 is through a number of doors with stairs and landing's, so with a heavy case it could be awkward.

Everything: the rooms were clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The decor was gorgeous and gave a really decadent feel to our stay. We had a bath in our bedroom, which we didn't use but made the room look very glamorous. There was also a separate bathroom with a shower that we did use! This was really well equipped with everything you could need. The view over the river was beautiful and there was very little noise from the street and the bar below us. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the location was central to Bedford town. We will definitely use Albero Rooms again.

The parking was a 5 minute walk away: not the fault of the business, but worth noting.

The Alberro lounge is beautifully situated by the river next to the white footbridge. The restaurant and bedroom was beautifully decorated and very comfortable . My room had an extra large comfy bed, lovely bathroom and fantastic views from the windows to the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Everything felt quality.

Nothing really. Everything was fine. If I were to mention anything, the lighting in my room could be better (a bit brighter)

This place is just amazing. From checking in to our room with lovely polite, helpful staff, to a cosy sit down drink in a beautiful welcoming lounge. I need to talk about the rooms. The room was just the best, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a wonderful view over the river. The bathroom was huge, with a beautiful roll top bath, walk in shower, 2 sinks, 2 mirrors and anything else you could possibly want. We will definitely be saying here again. Thank you to everyone at Albero lounge for an amazing stay.

Not a single thing to dislike.

This is within easy walking distance if on contract to the Bedford South Wing Hospital. The geese, swan and sea gulls in the morning and evening was a sight to delight the heart! Quite serene surroundings with opulent rooms to make one feel pampered.

The water pressure in the early mornings wasn’t optimal. I wasn’t aware that the notices on the table enabled one to get room services topped up. The parking situation wasn’t ideal, but fortunately I could use the hospital parking.
