The rooms have been freshly decorated and are very modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Due to going in the heatwave there was a fan in the corner of the room and that was a life saver as the rooms were very warm. Shower was absolutely fine.

I do feel for the price of our stay that breakfast should have been included. They did offer a continental breakfast for £5.50 each, which we thought was a good price, but was a very strange continental breakfast. We had a choice of cereal, then we were brought out a plate with one slice of toast, a ramekin of baked beans, two fresh pastries and the tinniest pot of yogurt I've ever seen.

The location met all my needs. Its proximity to the rail station and bus lines were key reasons why I chose the Verve Hotel. Its free parking also exceeded my expectations when I rented a car for several days.

The lack of a lift for guests was the only issue. While I have full mobility and can use stairs without problems, some guests might not be able to manage stairs with luggage. But that was the only issue I had at the hotel. All staff members were wonderful. Everything was outstanding

Hotel is well presented and in a good location for access. This is the fourth time I’ve stayed there and so far, they have always managed to ensure I have space to park my van. Staff are great and the rooms are well presented and good value for money.

This visit, the shower tap was falling apart and took a lot of fiddling and messing to get it to go hot (15mins). It did get hot eventually but was worried I’d have to have a cold shower at one point, not ideal after a long day of work outside (mobile mechanic)

I stayed 3 weekends on the trot and each time the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean with everything you needed even a fridge, there were iron and ironing boards in the corridor and the hotel decor was very nice. Also the bar was good not too expensive.

I'm not a big fan of continental breakfasts so went elsewhere for a full English, I did however have the breakfast on one occasion and if you are into continental breakfasts it's fine.

Staff amazing and friendly. Great room and ensuite bathroom. Loved the seasonal decorations (Halloween). Comfortable and cosy and inviting from the outside and interior, option of low lighting and loved the chandelier look of the main accommodation lighting. Highly recommended to travellers near to the town centre (approx 15-20 mins) and 10 mins to Sainsbury's which is easy to find. Great hotel.

A couple of minor issues with the property but not worth nit picking. Great accommodation.

I found the hotel room very comfortable and was pleased to be upgraded without cost as I requested a quiet room. My impression is that the hotel is generally quiet anyway especially at the back where my room was. Reception area is attractive and inviting. My bed was very comfortable and the ensuite and shower were fine with the usual toiletries, plenty of milk, good wi fi ect. I didn't have breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A nice young woman carried my suitcase to the top floor and Baz ( In think that was his name) was exceptionally helpful with my parking when I returned late. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area.

Nothing to dislike.

Friendly staff at check in and throughout my stay. Hotel was clean and warm. My room was quiet and a lovely view over the garden. Room was cleaned every day. Good car parking.

Bedford weather was poor and the hotel is a good (10 mins) walk from the town centre. No draft beer in bar but adequate supply of cans, again with very friendly staff. Nothing major to dislike, if I had wanted more I would have paid 2x the price elsewhere.

Convenient location walking distance to most things in Bedford. We were attending the Bedford Park Festival. Parking. Reasonably comfortable. Nice welcome pack.

Entrance Buzzer. Couldn’t hear what the receptionist was saying. Strange breakfast - basic choice of cerials. But then a semi cooked breakfast arrived…. With vacuum packed style croissant and pastry and baked beans.

Breakfast a little surprising! In addition to a choice of 3 cereals, fruit juices and tea/coffee, also on one plate came the 'continental breakfast' - Aa croissant, small bowl of yoghurt, pain au raisin- and a small bowl of hot baked beans. Nothing wrong with it, but bowl of got baked beans ( no doubt a nod to the ' full English' came as a surprise!

I was in room 7. The bathroom was all fine ,shower over the bath but it was quite a step to get out of the bath after taking a shower. Whether being an OAP (as l was) or not , a handrail on the wall for support would have been appreciated. Indeed, l am surprised one is not required under Health and Safety legislation.

room great as i am disabled they put me on a ground floor breakfast good but sometimes i do like hot breakfast but what they do is like beans on toast etc which is good

nothing all good the staff are so great this stay it was my birthday and all the satff gave me present and decorated the dinning room for me thet went the extra mile as they always do many thanks
