Staying at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The impeccable service provided by the staff exceeded my expectations, making me feel truly valued as a guest. Without a doubt, my experience at this hotel was simply outstanding, leaving me with cherished memories and a desire to return soon.

The staff were fantastic and friendly. The room was very clean and well equipped, even had a bath.

staff were polite and friendly, reception were very helpful and called a taxi service for us and apologised profusely when it was late. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety.

The room was slightly smaller than I anticipated and the noise level was higher but I think this was purely down to how busy they were in 24hr period.

I booked this hotel as I was travelling to the Utilita Arena on the Sunday for an even with my teenage Son. I was really impressed with the hotel. It had changed names earlier this month, but this had no impact on our stay. It looked clean and like it had recently been re-decorated. The Rception staff were very friendly. The room was perfect for what we needed - a pit stop overnight. We walked to the local high street to get something to eat and we were able to park onsite for a very reasonable price of £5.

It was a tiny annex off the car park, no steps thankfully (bad knees & ankle), pretty much a bed in a room with a separate shower room and toilet. It was ideal for our one night stay. It was clean and cosy with a small hot drink station and tv. We were not in the main building so no noises from other guests. Anyway we're popping back in November.

We have found with IHG hotels they do like high beds, as we're both under 5'4" you couldn't easily sit on the bed to put socks and shoes on. Maybe a small stool tucked under the vanity table would be nice. On our visit there was only one large bath towel and no spoon to stir hot drinks. Had we asked I am sure we would have been given them, but as it was a flying stop we didn't bother.

Pay for what you get 3 star... Hotel don't expect too much. All staff pleasant and helpful.. Water pressure in shower dismal. Clean towels. Comfortable beds.. Dated carpets and decor needs to be refreshed. Lovely breakfast Dinner menu limited choice.. £17.00 for bottle of wine. 5 mins from train station a bonus Quiet area short distance into shops A lot of workmen staying so early morning noise as they are leaving. But would recommend for a short visit to Birmingham.

The property was clean, newly decorated and comfortable. For a one night stay it was perfect to visit the university which was a 20mins drive away. The dining room and bar were open until late (although I didn’t need to use it). The tea facilities in the room were very welcome. The staff I encountered were friendly.

The lamp provided in the room had a broken plug when I arrived which needs sorting out (room 139) But the bedside lamps were sufficient anyway. Other than that no problems at all. Parking is £5 additional charge. I am a blue badge user and the one and only spot was taken and not in a very accessible place.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 days , continent for the NEC. Staff made me feel like I was at home in fact I didn't want to go home. Definitely stay here again. Food quality was well prepared and prevented also good value. Freshly decorated in a classic modern style. The manager was a very friendly lady made me feel very welcome. I loved the hotel and will come back
