Good property, great rooms and surroundings also very pleasant. Close to the center so was a great location with many good restaurants at a walking distance from the hotel. We were there for an exhibition and the place was only a short cab ride to Birmingham NEC which was very convenient. The coffee/hot chocolate machines near the lobby were such a great value add. The breakfast also was nice. The breakfast staff were very helpful and kept the space clean and well stocked.

The reception staff was a bit cold towards us.

Amazing location, just a few minutes walk to the shopping centre. Clean area, easy access to public transportation and uber. Solihul is s beautiful city and the hotel was decent and accommodating. Jacuzzi and the sauna room were amazing.

The leisure centre lockers needs fixing asap as most of the lockers were faulty. House keeping has alot to improve on, the corridors could use a big more organisation during cleaning throughout the day. The room was clean but it could have been much cleaner and the pillows has alot of use on it, they need change it frequently.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the lady who seemed to be managing the restaurant and took us to our table in the morning. Reception staff also very friendly and proactive in offering us a room on the ground floor as we had our dog with us.

We were there with our dog and the hotel garden which had a decent sized grass area was great for her to be able to have a run around. We had it to ourselves too, which was a bonus. The garden gate could do with a catch though to make it more secure, as people kept leaving it open. Our dog has good recall, but it wouldn’t have been secure enough for a dog that didn’t and a small dog would have been able to go under the gate too. A small point and I particularly want to emphasise how good the staff all were.

Lovely location, easy and plenty of parking, room was a very good size and the beds very comfortable. Unfortunately due to a little confusion post booking the beds were twin rather than a double. We didn't mind much as it was easy enough to push them together. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Very amenable as we had a dog and overall the hotel was quiet despite a large wedding taking place.

The breakfast was fine but there is a real limit for anyone who is vegan or veggie. My partner is a meat eater though and there was a good choice of different things on the buffet for him. I just adapted as best I could. The price of parking feels a lot it cost us about £40 for the 3 days although this gave us a lot of freedom and the location is so good we happily left it there for the majority of the stay using public transport to get around. I would recommend that you budget for this in your stay if you are booking so just bear in mind that it does increase the price quite a bit.

We visited Birmingham just for the Back to the Beginning show, so there wasn’t time for sightseeing. However, the area around the hotel seemed calm and quiet. There’s a train station nearby, which should be a convenient way to get to the city center — though I can’t say for sure, as we only used Uber during our stay. Breakfast was fairly standard, with a wide selection of items typically found in a Full English breakfast, along with juices, cereals, and sweet pastries. However, there was no dedicated section for vegetables and only a small variety of fruit. You can order à la carte dishes if you’re in the mood for something extra, but be aware that they may come at an additional cost, even if you’ve prepaid for breakfast.

The king-size bed wasn’t the most comfortable, especially with a spring mattress. I’m also not a fan of having just one large French-style blanket over the whole bed. We asked at reception for two separate blankets, and although they said they would take care of it, nothing was ever changed. Since we were only staying for two nights and checking out the next day, I didn’t follow up. Maybe there was a miscommunication on my part, or maybe someone just forgot — I don’t know. But it was still a disappointment. In hindsight, I probably should have booked a room with two single beds, but unfortunately, all the suites were fully booked at the time.

The breakfast was good ! Variety to suit everyone also well staffed and facilitated a little noisy during our last breakfast sure to a large wedding party

We booked an inclusive bead breakfast and evening meal This was a restricted evening meal menu which didn’t appeal to us The meals offered were disappointing Iwe like lots of fresh vegetables The chicken was tough and the food was very salty The staff were very responsive to this and offered a much better option I can’t fault the staff at this hotel from housekeeping , dining staff to front of house

Excellent stay at this hotel. The location is very close to the NEC, good value for money, the beds were very comfy although we stayed in a "King room" but be aware the beds are double beds. The room was clean and tidy, a nice shower and toiletries provided. Good, free WiFi and TV in the rooms. Spa Access is free and provides towels but the spa is a little outdated. Staff friendly and helpful. £10 per 24 hrs for parking. Good breakfast but a little expensive at £16.96 pp. Overall would recommend.

Liked everything about the hotel, all staff were very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed our evening meal, drinks at the bar and breakfast the next morning.

Our room was very nice but one thing we would of found extra useful would of been to have coat hooks on the wall as you came in the door, also we couldn't seem to find how the extractor fan worked in the bathroom so some instructions on this would of being useful but being as we only stayed one night this wasn't to much of a problem : ) We would definitely stay here again for maybe longer next time..highly recommend.

Extremely comfortable bed and room in general. Felt well cleaned plus allowed dogs.

No consideration given to the banging made by the inordinate number of fire doors on the corridors. It’s a very dated hotel so its corridors are pokey with twists and turns. There can be a very long walk to your room which you get over but the noise made by people just walking the corridors and the fire doors slamming constantly was almost unbearable.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything about the hotel was exceptional The warm welcome by the reception staff the room the location the bar staff. Just one huge blip in the whole experience that nearly ruined everything about the reason for our visit. We took the advice from the reception staff to book us a Taxi to attend the Utilita Arena unbeknown to us as we are not local we trusted the recommended Taxi Firm Driver to take us to the Correct Venue. The reception did also helpfully from their local knowledge tell us to attend well ahead of the Take That concert time due to Friday evening traffic congestion. The Taxi driver unbeknown to us took us to the NEC the wrong venue. It was after he had dropped us off and was having a pre concert meal and drinks excited about the forthcoming event that we learnt from staff present that we actually needed to be in Birmingham City Centre near the Canal. Immediately we were stressed but fortunately due to the staff at the NEC quickly got a Taxi and arrived late to the performance by 15 minutes but fortunately Olly Murs was late starting and we didn't miss the Main event Take That. In summary do not trust the Hotel's recommended Taxi Firm quite clearly some of the employees ie our Taxi Driver didn't have the local knowledge of where we should of been when we clearly said to him the Utilita Arena and stick with Uber Taxi's. £45 going plus £5 tip £35 Uber Taxi return Arena to Hotel. Otherwise A Fantastic Weekend and we are back in June for Pet Shop Boy's At The Utilta Arena Birmingham not the NEC
