I have stayed here a few times and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Car parking good and the choice to stay for late check out is good.

I have stayed here a few times and the bath rooms are always grubby looking, with mould in the shower area. You need proper toilet roll and not those sheets. The tap area was very dirty with a yellow ring around it, room 105. Back mould spots in the shower area. Toilet seat a bit wobbly and the push flush not very good. The mirror was no good around the edging. The carpet was questionable, but I put slippers on when walking in it as it looked very grubby. The advert on the external door states stays from £35!! I have never found one this cheap alway from £60 upwards so you would have thought the rooms would be immaculate...

My wife and I stayed here for one night after helping our daughter decorate her spare room into a nursery just up the road. Hadn’t stayed here before but was very pleasantly surprised by a number of things. Firstly the reception staff both on checking in and checking out were the most helpful cheerful people you could imagine. They are a credit to the brand. Secondly the overall presentation of the room, the ambience and the cleanliness were amongst the best we’ve ever experienced. All credit to the housekeeping staff. Thirdly, bearing in mind how close it is to the busy Stratford Road It was very quiet and we both had a good nights rest. All in all a great value overnight stay and we will definitely recommend this stay to other people. Kind regards April and Jon Gwynn

Good value for money. We stayed the night before an early flight from Birmingham airport. Location was great for us and free parking was a bonus. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and organised a travel cot for our baby too.

The room was very hot and as it was an attic room the Velux window only opens a small amount. There was a small fan but it didn't make much difference the room was still so stuffy. I'm sure in the winter it's a bonus but for us it was a difficult night with the baby struggling to sleep. It wouldn't stop us staying here again though.

The room I was given on arrival smelt of cigarette smoke, even though it is meant to be non-smoking , but the girl at reception was very apologetic and very quickly found me an alternative room, thankfully. The wifi wasn't working at first, so I mentioned this to the same girl at reception, who said she would reset it, and a short while later everything was spot on. The room was clean, bed was comfy and all in all it was a better experience than I initially thought I would have for the price I paid, so will certainly consider it again for future stays in this area.

Parking was fine, as long as you could find a spot, as it did get busy at times.

booked a buget cheap night for 7 x colleagues just to sleep. no frills just expected a simple clean room etc but the experience was really good, Muhammad in reception was brilliant. there was no faff or unnecessary time wasting at check out they had all the keys ready and it was a slick process. the room was very clean and bed was comfy. the showers esepcially were amazing, hot water and really good pressue. we stayed on the third floor away from the pub side and it was very quiet. for the price it was fantastic!

They don't do breakfast, but the pub which is attached to the hotel did an excellent cheap meal. The location is in the middle of Shirley, yet the room was quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel important. I had a problem with the remote control, and when I mentioned it to the maintenance man he solved it almost straight away. I can't fault the hotel for such a reasonable price, and would recommend it without hesitation.

There was no lift, but the receptionists offered to move us to a lower room when we booked in. The room was basic, and not suitable for a long stay, due to lack of draw and hanging space, but saying that, at the price we paid, it was not a problem.

Ideal location, comfortable, large room, decent bathroom, extra pillows 👍🏻, pub next door in perfect location, lovely park full of squirrels and birds just around the corner which is great for a morning walk. Added bonus was the hotel kitty which was very friendly and possibly one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen.

The remote control in the room was absolutely disgustingly filthy. It had months of build up on it, of who knows what. Other people's food, fluids, greasy skin cells. I didn't want to touch it, it was so vile.

Good value for money Premier inn standard Very comfortable bed and great showers (only once I was given one older room with shower over bath that was a bit less powerful) Free parking and central near one minute walk to loads of restaurants but still very quiet at night Always very kind and helpful staff I am staying here nearly weekly and can’t fault it but do remember to put the car ref code in the screen or you will get a fine!

Just once was given a room with a shower over the bath that was slightly less powerful but still great and nothing to fault. To avoid top under roof floor in warm weather because may be too hot

Central location with free parking included albeit likely reflected in slightly higher rate of overnight stay. Walking distance from many restaurants pubs take aways. Quiet location however because not immediately on the road. Very clean with rooms premier inn style. Only downside most rooms don’t have a bath if you want one try and request but the showers are very powerful and great that is what matters to me. I ve stayed here for work nearly once a week for the past six months and over and the service is consistent as well as the price. I would def recommend.

Remember to put your car reg in the screen or you’ll get fined! Ask for a room with a bath if you fancy one but the showers are very powerful and hot in every room I tried so never felt I missed a bath!

Location was great to where we needed to be for meetings, the bonus of the free parking another plus and great for restaurants etc. Bed was really comfatable with lovely clean bedding, adjustable room climate control was another bonus. Good power shower, clean towels every day.

Only down side i had was the corridor light on all night the gap under the door shone the light into the room so in the end i had to put my coat at the bottom of the door to block it out but this is probably because i am used to a total blackout to sleep well.
