Very pleasant people, the atmosphere in the hotel felt relaxing, all staff I met was helpful and reassuringly pleasant, prices for drinks at the well equipped bar was very reasonable.

Only as an individual couple for a few days we really needed a lift for partially being disabled, but we managed, because of the good feeling in the hotel.. we was willing to continue our holiday.. we was too late booking for a hotel with a lift. Bless the Gurkah hotel.

Everyone was very welcoming, great atmosphere in the bar. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent, chose 7pm sitting and there were plenty of options to choose from and it was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits were replenished. Would absolutely stay again.

Only downside was the noise from upstairs room. Unfortunately not everyone is considerate of others.

The all you can eat buffet is a massive bonus on the place. I ate like a king. Some of the best curry I have ever eaten and big range of all kinds of tasty dishes. I'd go and eat there even if I wasn't staying. The staff are lovely people and I felt very relaxed and at home. The bar is like a sports bar and had enough atmosphere without being rowdy to enjoy the football on the big televisions. I was staying alone but didn't feel like it in the bar watching the football.

I liked everything

Staff were brilliant rooms spacious and comfy every few days they were round asking if we needed anything and to change bedding n towels onky thing is it was a 25 min walk to town center but thats being fussy they have there own buffet resteraunt was amazing beat food ive has in a buffet for years bar area was really nice and cheap beer over all brilliant 9 would have been easy ten if it was 10 mins closes to town very comfy beds too staff brilliant

First impressions when we walked into this Gem of a place is that we were being expected and waited upon. The room was very spacious and very clean. Tea, coffee. Biscuits all sitting in a tray all ready for us after the very long drive that we had. The place is situated within walking distance to the beach. We did not use our car whilst we were there credit to the great transport services in Blackpool as well as the free parking we had during our stay. The buffet was amazing and a great breakfast, too.

For us as family, there was nothing not to like.

Superb location, very welcoming hosts, both of our booked rooms were lovely. Exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Careful placement of plug sockets near mirrors made me very happy as did the lighting! Beds very comfortable and rooms were quiet. The buffet restaurant food was outstanding, exceptionally well managed and everything was delicious. We have stayed a few times now and this would always be my first choice when staying in Blackpool. Thank you so much to all at The Gurkha!!

There was nothing not to like!

The Owner made our stay . He was so polite and welcoming . All the staff in the Pub & Restaurant were very polite & welcoming. This Hotel was so lovley we have already booked for next July This stay was exceptional, highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like. .

The hotel is located a little south of the city centre but it was a bracing walk along the promenade to get to there, or the tram service was always a good option. The hotel is opposite the ambulance hub but this didn't pose any problems. No sirens in the middle of the night. The facilities were good and the breakfast was excellent. All staff very friendly.

The floor of the room seemed a bit uneven although I guess it's an old building. Not much to criticise. Good for the price.

The Location of The Gurkha Hotel was perfect, it was close to all things needed and not far from seafront. The room was amazing and huge and very very clean. The staff were helpful and very kind. Our remote was not working for the tv so they replaced the whole tv as there was an issue. We had an evening meal at The Gurkha Hotel and that was one of the best meals whilst in Blackpool, well worth the money and the food was amazing.

There was not 1 thing we did not like about The Gurkha Hotel. It was perfect in every way possible. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool on the future!

staff all brilliant reception, housekeeping dining room and bar staff. room excellent breakfast excellent. 100yrds to waterloo music bar which was why we chose it but a bit of a walk from blackpools main attractions.

stayed over weekend and restaurant was really busy at night, prob our fault for not pre booking tho.
