I would have scored 10 all round but had a few intial problems that were quickly dealt with by the hotel team. The reception team were amazing and sorted it out. My room was wonderful, beautiful view of the golf course. I didnt use the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was outstanding. Huge amount of options. All staff I encountered were very pleasant. I would highly recommend Landhydrock especially if you are a golfer. There were not masses of extras in the room but the usual tea and coffee hairdryer available . The soap in the shower was very nice . I felt that my concerns were heard and important to the team, and they made sure that it was resolved to my satisfaction.

Without a car it would be tricky to reach. Good location if you have transport to travel to surrounding areas.

Spacious reception and public bright and welcoming. Room clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Bar / lounge area overlooking golf course was pleasant albeit geared towards the golfing fraternity. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Absence of aircon in the room necessitates opening window casement for ventilation, fine on upper floor but as we were located on ground floor the room felt a little unsafe. TV was a little on the small side for size of room and the controller felt old and “sticky” for my liking. Choice of food in Bar/ Lounge a little limited, liquid beverages however, very good.

All staff were great and efficient. First class customer service. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Plenty of parking. Shower had hose as well as fixed overhead. Outside patio with seating provided and great views. Food good with exception of bacon.

Lack of adequate bright lighting made it difficult for partner to do make up. Breakfast good overall but very very poor bacon and felt cheaper quality than previous visit. Loud wedding party made continuous noise in corridor, restaurant and music played and very audible in room until late. Good luck to the happy couple but hotel should have notified us in advance so we could have come at quieter time.

The property is clean and tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food is simple in terms of the menu but it’s very enjoyable and fits the location and fills you up after 18 holes.

Staff are friendly, on site gold shop really nice. Rooms are well equipped (we had a deluxe double) and a good size with lovely double doors that open out onto the 9th. Fab place.

Very good hotel. Great facilities, friendly staff, well appointed room and good food. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and even a trouser-press! Plenty of parking. Very nice breakfast, wide selection and good quality. Great view from the restaurant overlooking the golf course.

Excellent hotel, the very best of accommodation, great staff both helpful and extremely aware of customer needs. The food was exceptional and cleanliness was beyond reproach. Experience rivialed many other 5 star accommodation we have used.

Nothing we can think of no critic, the value for money was extremely good, and the location just perfect.

Welcoming & helpful staff. Very clean facilities. Comfortable room/beds. Very quiet & peaceful location. Dinner good value for money with generous portions. Breakfast (included) was excellent with really good variety of things to choose from. Freshly cooked & again very generous portions. Delicious smoked salmon & scrambled eggs. Had problem with TV remote control which was instantly rectified by reception staff.,

Would have preferred more ‘fresh vegetable’ options on dinner menu.

Excellent staff, Clare who worked in the bar/ dining room was exceptional.

The shower was a problem as there was a lot of leaking over the bath from it. Solved by adjusting the shower door. The bathroom needs updating. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.

Great rural location. Very quiet.Good sized room with excellent en suite facilities. Breakfast and bistro meals fine. Compared with my last 2 recent Booking.com 'hotels' this was way above them in every respect. 🙂

The beds were 2 singles. Not really an issue and they could be pushed together. I am sure the hotel would have provided double bed linen had I asked.🙁

The outlook over the golf course - very relaxing and lovely to sit out if in a downstairs room. The quality of the food and the service. The staff were all very pleasant. The cleanliness. The rooms were very comfortable. Parking facilities were brilliant.

The fact that there was no safe/ security box in the room. No mini fridge. No bath robes.
