We enjoyed our stay at the lobster pot. But in hindsight there were a couple of things I would do before. I should have asked for an extra key card (only one offered) as I had to leave my wife in the room on a couple of occasions, but having to take the key card left her in the dark. Also as she has difficulty in walking I would ask for a room downstairs as she struggled with the stairs. Overall the room itself was very clean and comfortable with plenty of bedding and towels. We did eat in the pub itself for breakfast (very good) and Sunday dinner. I was warned the day before that the menu would be limited as they had run out of food the week before. And it was true, the menu did have a lot of items missing on Sunday afternoon. What we did order was very pleasant indeed. The staff in the pub were very nice and professional. All in all, a very nice place to eat and sleep and if we return to Bridlington again, a place to keep in mind.

Hotel room was similar to most others and clean. Bed was comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and good value. It was served on a large plate which made it look like small portions, but it was adequate.

I believe that the orange juice at breakfast was watered down. If it wasn't, then it wasn't a good quality brand. Made toast, but had to ask for butter and was supplied with 2 small pieces in a separate pot, i.e. it felt like it was rationed!! We didn't ask for more, but I assume that would have been provided?

Toilet roll poor quality too hard and thin plus room not cleaned serviced so not enough towels or tea coffee milks for 2 night stay had to ask restaurant for more next day. Bins full not emptied so not very good on maid service but worst was the food in restaurant. Invited friends for dinner so table of 6 very small portions but the Sunday roast beef was inedible sent back and had to wait for another meal soggy vegetable and potatoes poor quality meat still charged full price no reduction only apology. We all still gave 15% tip on top of £109 bill as waitress very good but was highly disappointed with food and embarrassed as asked family and friends to join us there to eat.

We liked the anonymity of the place, we could come and go as we pleased and didnt feel obliged to make conversations

Breakfast was extra. We stayed for 3 nights so paid for 3 breakfasts x2 people. My husband was disappointed with his choice each day. He tried the omelette, classic and pancakes. I had the classic each day and each day it varied, from bland sausages, overcooked bacon to a snotty egg. We have had better in the town for the same price or less but I booked it there as my husband has been very ill and couldnt manage the walk into town.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was only a 10 minute walk from South Side Beach. The rooms were not located in the pub, so you didn’t get disturbed. Enjoyed a lovely tea in the pub. A few vegetarian options, lots of meat options, and a fab dessert menu. The pub is a lovely comfortable social place to sit and relax after been on the seafront all day. Very good value for money.

The only thing about the stay that was disappointing was the breakfast. It was good value for money, if you had the full English, you got continental included for less than £10. Breakfast was served between 7ish-10.30, we went in around 9.30. Unfortunately, breakfast was very dry and we think had been kept in the oven. We did eat it, just left a little, I’m a bit of a (well, you get what you pay for kind of gal) the pain au chocolate and orange juice was a good option. Wouldn’t put me off staying again. I would just have the continental brekky.

Comfortable room, with pub/restaurant across the carpark. Just a quick 24 hours Twixmas break in Bridlington - our first visit to the town. The hotel was in a handy location near the South Beach - quiet and recently modernised long promenade, ideal for a morning walk. Also had a walk around the old town/harbour area which had much more of a busy seaside vibe to it - candy floss and helter skelters! We also had a drive out to Flamborough Head - a stunning must visit .

The pub was very understaffed so service in the restaurant was slow but not the fault of the staff who were very friendly and doing their very best. Also a number of the dishes we chose were unavailable. What we had was nice but not our first choice.

Location was good, not too far from the beach and then but far enough to be lovely and quiet! Room was excellent , staff all lovely end very helpful.

Drinks seemed very expensive in the bar. Breakfast price very reasonable but the cooked food was a little underwhelming unfortunately. There was an issue on our second morning with the toaster causing queues for toast, and the chef was also using it as his grill was broken! We then ended up with poached egg on bread essentially. However, not the staffs fault and despite the stress of the situation, they stayed calm and still extremely polite and helpful!

Staff was made us welcome,they were very polite helpful and be on ,they gave us a complimentary drink,we went for breakfast in the morning and the food was excellent dune just as we liked it, we slept very well and we will return again, recommend to our friends 👏👏

The only thing I don’t like was the bathroom Duse not have enough ventilation there was a bad smell if the door was open it seeped out in to the bedroom,it needs some kind of air vent installed,

This was my first trip by train,I would normally use my car but decided against it this time.Its a bit of a "struggle" to walk any distance!I managed twice to walk into and back from Bridlington Leisure Centre It was very warm weather(normally very welcome) but we did struggle.We were unable to get a bus into Bridlington due to no bus stops nearby.When we did make enquiries with a driver at the bus station as to buses passing the Lobster Pot the reply was"Don't know where it is mate"!!!So disappointing at the attitude.Taxis were £6 each way which was expensive over the duration of our stay.I don't want to,but will have to use my car next time for the convenience factor.Other than transport links,it was a lovely break and we were well loomed after.Some bus information on reception may help!

Nice accommodation across the car park from the Lobster Pot Lovely and clean with ensuite and wide screen tv. The twin beds a little narrow not suitable for average weight UK but comfy Bathroom a little tired but clean and acceptable. High standard of towel and bedding cleanliness they do a good job. Just went to the Lobster Pot for nightcap as they were rushed off their feet when we thought we might eat there so we went elsewhere. Overall had a nice couple of days and will definitely return for a short break.

The Menu a bit overpriced when recognising some of the same dishes from another establishment (you know who) However its a nice restaurant for a treat. The staff are great and appear to go out of their way to help everyone so well done to you all.
