The breakfast was great and also freshly cooked in a beautifully appointed traditional dining room. Provision was made for dietary differences, if necessary. The host offered a variety of items to choose from and also timings were flexible.

Slightly diffiicult to find the property in the dark. Not the host's fault but I assumed Kerry Crescent was a road not just 3 historic houses built in the shape of a crescent on the main road. All became clear in the daylight. There is parking outside but generally it is full - go up to the Heritage centre and park in the Car Park at the back. The host helped me with this too when I arrived.

What a beautiful place( full of lovely art and hidden gems ) ..Ellen and Rexi( beautiful people they are)!made me most welcome in every way ..the perfect hosts. Was picked up and dropped back to the station .....so cool Ellen made me such a lovely chilli mushroom red onion and tomato omelette for my breakfast made to perfection and I had the pleasure to watch her prepare her signature sourdough bread ....and to sample this the next morning ..it was like being on the Saturday kitchen set ..well cool she is .....yum yum . My room was spotless .. couldn't fault nothing . My only regret... I wish I stayed longer ..though on a positive note..will definitely be back Thank you again to you both 💚💚💚

This charming B&B is truly special; an enchanting home full of warmth, comfort, and quiet elegance. Our gracious host, the wonderful Ellie, welcomed me and others with such genuine hospitality that we instantly felt at ease. Her attention to detail is evident in every corner of the house – from the lovingly curated art that adorns the walls to the tasteful décor that blends character with comfort so effortlessly. Every room is immaculate, yet lived-in and full of soul, like a place with stories to tell. The most delicious breakfast – lovingly prepared and beautifully presented - was a perfectly cooked full English, every bite an absolute delight. And adding to the magic are her two adorable dogs, who are the sweetest presence, adding to the homely, welcoming atmosphere of the B&B. This is a little slice of beauty, charm, and comfort, tucked away in Calne, lovingly tended by someone who truly understands the art of hospitality. I can't recommend it highly enough – I shall certainly be returning!

Nothing at all!

The welcome was warm and informal making you feel completely at ease. We were in the area for a wedding and we were going somewhere completely out of the way, and we were offered a lift to the wedding reception and were picked up too. Though it must have interrupted their evening you wouldn’t have been able to tell! The room and bathroom were very large, exceptionally clean, with great facilities. I stay in a lot of 5* hotels with my job and I could tell my hosts have too. The breakfast was just as excellent. Family style so got to chat to a lovely couple. My favourite thing was the homemade bread and home harvested honey - what a treat! And to top it off the hosts have the sweetest teddy bear of a dog called Mr Buttons, who they let us borrow to take a wander around the area. A really memorable stay…fabulous.

From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. I received a warm and friendly welcome into Ellie and Rexis home. Their house has been beautifully restored and is an electic mix of fascinating art and artifacts. Their recommendations for places to eat and to visit were excellent. The location is perfect for exploring the World Heritage site of Avebury and many surrounding villages. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home-made bread and eggs from the local farm. It was spotlessly clean throughout, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a pleasure to meet Ellie, Rexi, and their dog, the delightful Mr Buttons. It's lovely to stay in a home with so much character that meets all your needs. Next time I return to Avebury I will definitely stay here again. Thank you ! 😊

Wonderful exceptionally warm welcome from Ellie and Rexie. Lovely charming property. Perfect ensuite room and very comfy bed. Our super hosts even drove us to an event we were attending nearby making our stay as easy possible. Delicious breakfast with wide range of cooked and cold items to chose from. Exceptional stay and look forward to returning again soon!

We stayed in Calne as we were visiting the nearby Bowood House and Gardens for an event - location couldn’t have been more convenient. The b&b is a fantastic period property with exquisitely tasteful decor and charming hosts who went out of their way to ensure out stay was perfect. Our room was lovely. Breakfasts are to die for. We’d definitely recommend unreservedly and will be returning.

A lovely, listed building a short walk away from Calne centre. Renovated to a very high standard. We stayed in the Gothic room, with a very comfortable bed, en suite shower room, and well stocked with all the essentials from tea, coffee, biscuits and filtered water to toiletries to a first aid kit. It was more like a private suite than a B&B room! Ellie, the host, is absolutely the loveliest lady. Very warm, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Ellie offers a very wide range of options for breakfast, all made from locally sourced produce. Made freshly, tasty and more than enough for anyone (in fact we didn’t have space left for lunch). We weren’t, however, prepared for Ellie’s partner in crime - the utterly adorable Buttons. THE cutest and most well behaved ‘guard dog’ we’ve ever met. He was the absolute icing on the cake.

We sadly had to leave, and worse - we couldn’t keep Buttons as a souvenir of our stay :-(

Our stay was excellent, Ellie and Seema were exceptional hosts and the B&B is immaculate. The breakfast was brilliant (notably the homemade bread!) and nothing was too much to ask. They also offered a taxi service to the wedding venue we were going to which was really appreciated. If we are ever back in Calne we will book again!

I found myself very welcome by Ellie and the house is super comfy! The breakfast was so tasty and home cooked! I had a very pleasant stay, relaxing. The house has everything, classic style with very good decor taste mixed with comfort! Cosy and warm!
