Super cosy room, very welcoming, clean, neat and pleasant. Shower room finished to a high standard. Heater, extra blanket and fan provided. The bed was extremely comfortable! Lovely view from Room 1 including the sea, the cliffs and the hills. Could see the sun rising over the hills in the morning. The breakfast tray was really lovely, as were the tea and coffee bits in the room. Everything has been thought out and is so well presented. Handy little dining area with mini fridge, free book library and recycling bin.

Other guests next door were quite audible as they moved around in their room and on the landing. That was the only thing that wasn’t so great. The rest was brilliant and very peaceful otherwise.

Lovely room, the view of the beach and sea was idyllic! Room was clean and comfortable. The process for accessing the property was slick and really easy. Breakfast tray each day was welcomed and a nice touch.

One of the large windows had a slight cracked window and a draught coming through where the window opens. Only an issue on the first night when the wind was howling and it was very loud to be a point it disrupted our sleep. But please don't let this detract from our overall stay and impressions of the accommodation we had a wonderful time and would stay again.

The room was immaculate, clean and comfy. Car parking was easy and it is is in a really lovely location. The simple breakfast was a lovely addition which was not expected! Great value for money.

Only a couple of personal preferences: for instance, I prefer a walk in shower - but this is my personal choice rather than a fault. I know this cannot be reasonably solved but the fire door on the top floor is in a really awkward position and very heavy when guests are struggling with bags and baggage.

Ease of entering the hotel and finding room. Instructions regarding pin numbers on door were clear. Staff attentive, helped me with luggage on the way to my room. Free breakfast tray. Very clean. We used the Lounge area downstairs to eat our Chinese takeaway,there's a fridge to keep your wine cool too. Very Pleasant.

Too many stairs my husband has a walking stick and struggled and we were on the top floor... But it was the only room left so had no choice.

The room was lovely and clean with a a very good large bed. The bathroom was spacious and the shower and water pressure very good. We had a view of the sea (just about) which was nice. Parking was ample and location perfect for Aberporth. Key system worked well. The Ship in down the road is great for a pub and food.

We knew the Hotel was unmanned which was fine. The breakfast tray was ok but not for us but we knew that on booking. We went down to the cafe on the Sunday morning and they were supposed to open at 10am. We waited until 10.15 but no sign so we drove elswhere for breakfast. (this is not the Hotel's fault)

The hotel is in a a great location really close to the beach. The room we stayed in was a nice big room, number 6, with a view of the sea when looking through the side of the bay window. Really liked the layout of the room and it was very clean. We liked the tea and coffee facilities and a different breakfast tray everyday was nice. Communication online was excellent. Free on site parking was great too. Easy to access the hotel and room with the codes.

The property is unmanned so felt a bit soulless sometimes- it was a bit sad not seeing anybody at the reception desk to greet us or help us with anything. I stayed with my mum- We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single bed. I tried to sleep in the single bed for one night and it was terrible- the mattress was too soft and I could feel the springs- it was very uncomfortable. I then slept in the double bed and it was more comfortable. It would be nice if there was a toilet roll holder in the bathroom instead of the toilet roll being on the floor.

Our recent stay at the HighCliffe was nothing short of delightful. We are four, booked two rooms for one night and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the accommodations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered stunning sea views. The welcoming breakfast was a much-needed treat after our long journey, and the team's friendly and attentive service was top-notch. While we did encounter a few minor hiccups with the WiFi, the staff quickly resolved the issue and provided alternative options. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beautiful beach and nearby restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this anyone looking for a memorable seaside getaway.

When my wife saw the dressing table with its 3 mirrors, she enthused that at last someone had thought of women when furnishing a hotel room. The view from our room took in the bay and a settee was provided in the window to sit and enjoy it. The whole setup was unusual with no visible staff but it worked perfectly. Coded access. More than sufficient breakfast tray. My comments refer to Room 4, Golden Sands. We plan to revisit.

Small point but it would have been helpful to have somewhere to place toiletries in the bathroom such as a shelf or cabinet.

Location to the beach and the pub was great. The room is one of the cleanest we have stayed in a long time with excellent views of the cliffs,beach and the bay. Very accomadating hoast. Good size car park, I think there is space for all the guests as parking is limited in the village at peak times

A lift would be great, but that is not possible. Just be prepaired for the stairs to the top if you want the best view.

Clean, and easy, didn't actually see any staff but communication after booking was great. The room was comfortable and the bathroom looked brand new! I was always able to park in the carpark.

There was nothing really that I didn't like. Maybe the light switches, i didn't like the light switch ; ) The room place was lovely but the light switches looked very 70s. Obviously that would not put me off going back!
