We were greeted by a very polite and welcoming gentleman at the front desk who was working throughout our stay during the bank holiday weekend. We stayed for 3 days and it was a nice touch to see him each morning as we came through for breakfast! We arrived at our room and were pleasantly surprised by the large size and the large extra double bed they had given us at our request. We were a group of one adult and two children aged 8 and 12 and the room gave us ample space to spread out and still have some privacy. The location was superb, just a short drive to the motor way with links to Thame, Oxford and surrounding areas.
Just to note that the breakfast staff on our second morning seemed a little preoccupied with some attentions to detail forgotten about. For example there were no plates left for us to use apart from the small side plates which I had to creatively fit an English breakfast from the buffet area onto! The coffee machine had also broken down meaning I could only access one cup of tea when I would have ideally liked another to go with my meal. It was a shame that I had to still pay full price for the three of us when we didn’t really get a full breakfast experience.

Stayed in one of the courtyard rooms and it fully met my expectations, as well as a shower there was also a bath which i made use of. Room as you would expect had tea and coffee facilties (and you could always get replenishments from reception)
in a word, breakfast. Although there was a good selection of hot and cold buffet items the quality in my opinion was a bit on the poor side, especially with the cooked items. I went down for opening time and the scrambled eggs were cold, when i commented on it they apologised and said it was because the chef had not mixed the scrambled eggs up. The bacon, again in my opinion, was tasteless. I have to say i think the breakfast you get at a premier inn is comparable if not better.

Upon arrival, the hotel staff were very welcoming and the hotel, looks clean, like it has recently been renovated and just a great place to stay surrounded by lots of greenery. The room we had was quiet and very spacious which was great as we were traveling with a young child. Bathroom was huge, clean and the shower was great! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good, lots of choice and the buffet restocked continuously.
My only negative feedback would be about some of the outdated facilities (tv) and furniture with the bedroom. For the price we paid for our room it would have been nice for these elements to have been updated as its clear the rest of the hotel is very well appointed.

The room was spacious so that was a real plus, albeit I had paid for a courtyard room so not sure how other rooms are. The dinner was excellent, I had the Sunday carvery which was excellent. In particular this was made even better by my waitress, Amy, who was quite simply fantastic and who could not do enough. A tremendous ambassador for the hotel. The breakfast however was a bit dissapointing. Very much along the lines of what you would expect at a Premier Inn, however, I found both the muchrooms and bacon so taste quote bland which was rather surprising (especially the bacon)
Definite room for improvement with the breakfast

Spacious and comfortable room with good bed. Breakfast was nice with tasty food. The staff is nice and helpful.
Our room was the first in the corridor with the door leading to the external walkway. The room door has a bit of a gap so it would rattle every time someone opened the corridor doors. Every time someone walked in our out, we could hear it and it woke us up. The breakfast food was tasty but could do with some fresh vegetable options. Two mornings, there were ~30 guests that arrived at the same time, and the place did not handle it well. Dinner food tastes average but has above-average price.

Great last minute booking. Lovely air conditioned room, great bed and comfortable room. Very welcoming receptionist even though we arrived late.
My only annoyance was at breakfast. Having been guided into the dining area we took a table, collected our drinks and very nice full English only to be confronted by someone on duty that in future we should use tables set for breakfast and not ones that have been laid for dinner. May sound minor but nothing designated the difference between tables and frankly mid breakfast I don’t expect to be disciplined over table use, spoilt to experience for both my wife and I. If it’s that important, make it clear!

The room was comfortable and quiet. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent and the service was impeccable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very slow and I had to wait 10 mins longer than the rest of my party for a similar order. So I sat there waiting while everyone else was eating. Also all the breakfast orders had mistakes and some items were missing and replaced by others. eg. I didn't get any bacon or tomatoes which I ordered. my sister gave me some of hers so that I didn't have to wait ages again. The room was a bit scruffy in places e.g. broken toilet holder, towels had slight stains.

Great position just off the M40. The friendly staff, it helped make our evening special! The room was a good size, the bed as comfortable and the bathroom was modern and attractive. The bar and restaurant was very nicely designed and the benches on the grass outside would have been pleasant if the weather had been better.
Only one pillow each! The noisy road outside our window. Having to collect cups of tea and coffee ourselves at breakfast, which could have been warmer.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and welcoming facilities, nothing too much trouble. Very spacious and comfortable room and bathroom with lovely toiletries. Quick service of food which was really nice. I would definitely stay here again.
Better signage to the main car park of the hotel as the first car park you reach coming from the direction of the motorway isn't the main car park!

Main reception, bar area, restaurant, all very good. Breakfast very good, all food very good. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was okay, bit tired here and there. Old wardrobe for hanging clothes, door creaked very loudly.
We were in room 218. This was next to what seemed to be a boiler room or similar. All through the night you could hear the sound of, like, something firing up and then shutting off with a thunk. Very disturbing when trying to get to sleep. If staying longer would have asked to be moved. Would suggest they insulate the boiler room walls. Could do with - an updated wardrobe, towel rail near the hand basin, Bar prices at London rates. Over £6. a pint of ale.
