Service was good at all level after our arrival.

The only set back was related to pre-arrival, when we booked our stay, we received an email asking for our preference ... etc, which we have answered plus a separate phone call, but the hotel continues sending emails to me asking the same questions, when we got to the hotel it failed to provide us with two separate duvets which we informed them on the email. It is a small matter and was rectified by housekeeping before we went to bed. But it does show a weakness in its system that someone should have recorded or reviewed their email communication with guests before writing or calling them.

From the minute we arrived the service was impeccable, really on another level to anything we have experienced anywhere before. All staff went out of their way to make my wife's birthday treat extra special, with their kind wishes, their courteousness and their attention to detail. Our upgrade to a garden suite was a fabulous surprise and just elevated our opinion even further. It actually felt a privilege to dine in the renowned restaurant in order to enjoy exceptional dishes with their paired wines .There was a great atmosphere about the whole place yet it was relaxing too. There were so many little touches throughout our stay that it is impossible to list them all . Even the departure was different with our parting gifts for the journey home. A journey we made after a saunter through the wonderful gardens and orchards that make this hotel so special too.

We couldn't fault anything as we felt our stay had been tremendous from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed.

From the warmest welcome to the kindest farewell, the team at Le Manoir was amazing. The food was surreal, beautifully prepared and presented. Each course was a taste experience never to be forgotten, perfectly balanced and seasoned. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean, a haven of relaxation and calm. The gardens, as well as being practical, had places to sit for peaceful reflection and thought.

From the moment you arrive it felt special. Met from the car, bags taken to the room, glass of champagne whilst you check in, beautiful lounges, amazing room - we stayed in the main house in the Hollyhock suite - lemon loaf cake and fruit waiting. Dinner was beautiful in every way. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Staff were a delight. Glad we went when we did as it was vibrant but not mad busy. Some reviews talk of it being busy and long waits, we saw nothing of this, everything- including the unexpected snack bag for the journey home and wild flower seeds was a delight.

Nothing to spoil an excellent stay. Only thing was I’d sent a couple of emails prior to arrival, one to change dinner time and one for wine in the room on arrival but neither had been actioned. It was no issue and easily rectified on arrival.

The whole experience from arrival until departure was exceptional. This hotel is a truly wonderful place to visit- even if for dining only. The staff were in abundance, always extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Car parking undertaken by trained staff. Luggage was taken to the room. Having an upgrade was very special and highly appreciated as it was in response to personal issues. Every care is taken to ensure there is nothing amiss. The food is amazing, not only looking wonderful with attention to detail ...but the taste of everything is just a delight. I could write at length about the flowers, the garden the room but will end by saying just go for yourselves and see how special this place is. If only a once-in-a-lifetime visit it is well worth the cost to have this experience. Thank you to all who made the stay so special and memorable

Nothing can be improved. If people feel there is anything lacking then they really cannot be serious!

The staff were amazing! Went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Really enjoyed the garden tour too. The free upgrade on our room made our stay that extra but special and they to meet Raymond Blanc during our stay was the icing on the cake. This was a wonderful birthday weekend for my husband. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.

The breakfast was perfect. The pastries were amazing. All the staff were exceptional and I would like to say a special thank you to Megan and Bath on reception and to Louis and Jessica for their kindness and understanding. It was a complete pleasure to meet Raymond Blanc, such a gentleman. Our room was stunning, the bed very comfortable and so to the pillows. The food is absolutely outstanding and of course there are the beautiful grounds to explore.

Beautiful quiet hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Fantastic food. Taster menu is a lot so make sure you’re hungry! Lovely room , each room has an individual style/ decor. Ours was called Lemongrass and smelt of lemongrass when we walked in and the fish tank between the bathroom and bedroom is a nice touch . It had a more contemporary style .We had mentioned my husband’s birthday on booking . There was complementary cake and champagne in the room . I recommend the guided walk around the gardens in the morning , it was one of my favourite things about our stay . Breakfast was relaxed and slow so allow lots of time for it. We enjoyed our stay and the service is excellent.

It was immaculate with everything being attention to detail. Very relaxing perfect Food that was nothing short of perfection and housekeeping and staff made us feel part of the environment without being too obsequious. Well done !!

Everything was exceptional. We stayed for our wedding night and the attention to the littlest of detail was superb. We felt very privileged to stay there. It didn't feel like a hotel it felt somebody's home. We felt very well looked after and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will return.
