Staff were friendly and helpful, room was made and ready earlier than check in and having car parking on site and a bus to the city centre opposite the hotel was really handy.

The room was clean but only in visible areas - areas just under the bed or the shelving had been missed and there were crumbs and some dirt that should have been removed as part of the housekeeping. There could have been a couple of additional options at breakfast - e.g. there were no hash browns and there was only scrambled egg as a choice of eggs - but it was included in the price and there was a reasonable offering of bread, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee & juices etc. The city centre was a fair distance away by bus, but I’d originally booked the hotel for a different weekend (with an event closer to its location) so this was why.

Lovely modern and clean hotel with spacious room (double bed and sofa bed). Unique bathroom door system to enable a person to use the toilet privately while someone else uses the sink / shower - great innovation. Good sized TV and plenty of power points (including usb ports) on either side of the double bed and around the room. Great to see an iron and ironing board in the room cleverly concealed in the full length mirror. Good air con - easy to operate. The included breakfast was good quality.

The hotel is a little out of the way in terms of location to Oxford town centre but it has an entertainment complex just passed the adjacent Kassam Stadium, which was a welcome surprise. If you get a chance, visit the Oxi Chinese restaurant in the complex - fantastic quality buffet.

The room was nice and comfortable and had all the amenities required. the air conditioning was an added bonus in the hot weather. The breakfast area was light and spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice and there was plenty of choice. The reception staff were excellent, very knowledgeable, polite and helpful when required.

We had one incident where we had set our table ready for breakfast and when we went for our food and retuned to our table it had been cleared.

There is a large free car park, and it it situated next to the Kassam Stadium, so ideal if you are attending an event there. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with air conditioning, the bed was very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel to the centre of Oxford, or we used the one about a 10 minute walk away in the estate behind the Stadium. It was about a 15 minute bus ride into the centre of Oxford. We would stay here again if visiting Oxford.

Very clean hotel A 5 minute drive to “park n ride” bus service into town centre. Good location Staff super friendly Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which is an added bonus Good choice of breakfast, and always plenty of clean tables to choose from, so no having to wait for tables to be cleared and cleaned after quests. A great stay and I would definitely use this hotel again👍😊😊😊

First impressions on arrival which let the hotel down a little the weeds outside the entrance Planters outside the entrance also look a bit tired and neglected Also noticed a cigarette end on the mat just inside the entrance These are just minor things, which although didn’t spoil my stay, but did give the wrong impression on arrival 🤔

The rooms were very good, i liked the air conditioning bathroom and sitting arrangement, good to see ample charging sockets....The staff was also helpful... I was not carrying a cigarette lighter and the receptionist gave me his lighter to keep with me... that was so kind...

Nothing to complain about. I would just make a demand that if hotel provides at least one or two water bottles then it would be better so we don't have to go down to buy water bottles.

check in wasn’t seamless because we booked through booking.com. not the hotels fault I don’t think but something fell down and it took a while for them to find my booking. one member of the party couldn’t attend due to covid and due to the type of booking we made we couldn’t modify or get a refund. only issue with that is that this wasn’t flagged to us at the time of booking. again, not sure if that fault sits with holiday inn or booking.com.

Great hotel. Very clean. Booked it for the family and it came as 2 rooms, which would have been expensive for one night. One room had a double bed and the other room is double bed with a double sofa bed. I called the hotel and the staffs were very nice. They said as it's just for one night, if we are comfortable sharing one room they have no issue. Both the beds were comfortable. the quilt for the sofa bed was single so not large enough. But as the kids were sharing the sofabed it was ok. Plus we got an ironing board, iron, kettle, and hair dryer which was great. Price included breakfast so another plus.

The breakfast was basic. No chicken based food in the menu, which I think is a shame. I don't eat pork or beef, so had to eat toast and scrambled egg only with tea. The kids had the same with baked beans, so not much choices. They do offer vegan sausage on request though, which was good as Mrs is vegetarian.

The breakfast was very good, it had a nice variety of food. The room was okay, maybe it could improve in terms of facilities like a minifridge & the red bulb switch is out of place. The Bed was very comfortable & spacious.

I didn't like the taste of the sausages, the bacon had lots of excess fat, and the cleaning lady I spoke with did not know how to speak either English, Maltese, Italian or French. Moreover the stay was excellent.
