A lovely Country Inn with great character with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Perfect location for wedding guests at Bashall Barns. The staff are friendly helpful and make you feel Welcome ! The Breakfast was delicious, great choice, well cooked quality produce and the coffee was perfect. Bedroom clean and nicely decorated with quality bedding. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The bed comfy but a small double... we are use to a king size... just a personal preference, realise room not big enough for a king size.

Would of been nice for bar to be open before half 5 we were a group of family and friends 10 of us staying to go to a wedding arrived at 2.30 checked in great but then doors were locked to bars given a key to room and front door and had to go 3 miles to a shop to buy water etc as no bar open or staff around till 5.30 not great when temperatures were 27 plus and no refreshments unless you found a shop

It’s location was very close to a wedding venue we attended and it served breakfast. Had a lovely cosy lounge and the owner was warm and friendly and allowed us to remain in the lounge a little longer after check out

Only negative was really a rainfall shower so it was difficult to shower and not wet your hair ( which had been styled for the wedding). Some rooms did have a shower cap so perhaps we just unlucky - had i known beforehand I could have taken one

Property was stunning very friendly staff food was lovely with plenty of choice at breakfast. Beds very comfy and spotlessly clean.

The room you booked us in think it was called the rooftop was very small and no wardrobe just hooks behind the door but after speaking to the owners Fran & Jonathan they moved us to a beautiful large room very light and airy with plenty space to hang clothes etc. The garden space outside was excellent and lovely views of surrounding hills.

Fran was welcoming and accommodating and upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge. The bed was huge and had a great view from our window.

It was a little difficult to get the shower to a comfortable temp in the morning but assumed that it was just us / because others may have been showering at the same time, it was really no big deal.

A traditional English inn located in stunning Lancashire countryside, a place full of character. Cozy bar downstairs, period furnished room with superb power shower in the modern ensuite, very quiet location, superb continental and English breakfast (and plenty of it!). Very nice, helpful staff.

Nothing, even the normally unreliable British weather was fantastic!

Rooms very clean and comfortable with good quality furnishings. Bed comfortable. Bathroom walking shower with toiletries provided.

Checking in very limited we had a wedding at 1130 couldn't have room till 3 but also couldn't even leave bags and get keys before the wedding. We also had friends staying the night before and they couldn't get our keys. Had to leave the wedding to go and check in which was very inconvenient.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and very understanding about the problem on arrival of there being no running water due to a burst water main locally. The service was excellent throughout or stay. We both agreed that we would go again if we wanted a night away from home, for a break. Well Done to all.

We liked the breakfast, it was help your self and fresh cooked eggs. When we had to leave early on the last day the owners were great, and insisted on us wrapping food in foil to take with us. It was very homly and we were very comfortable there. We stayed for a wedding close by and it was very easy to get to ☺️

Lovely warm welcome , room was good size, clean amazing view, bed was very comfy, breakfast was amazing, and very good location for a wedding that we were attending! Nothing to complain about at all would highly recommend to everyone x
