This is a lovely pub in the heart of Yarmouth village, a stone's throw from the sea. We had room 6, which had a beautiful bay window with two comfy chairs - even when it's raining you can watch everyone passing by. Comfy bed, good coffee machine, very friendly and helpful staff, walking, shops and cafes all nearby, great for a mini break.

If I was going to nit-pick, it would be about the breakfast - the sausages and bacon were excellent quality local meat but the bread was boring sliced bread and the continental items a bit limited. Add some good bakery bread, pastries and fruit salad and it would be top notch.

The location was phenomenal, the rooms recently refurbished and very clean, they even managed early check in for us!

The only tiny thing that we didn’t like was that we were unable to stand up and shower in the bath. So we all had to bath. Whilst this was convenient for the children, not so much for us parents.

Location is perfect. A recent upgrade means the rooms are much better than they used to be: nice new decor, good design, even the water pressure has been improved.

Over the years, as the rooms have got better, the food has got worse. It's bog standard pub fare now so we eat all our meals out.

Lovely 17th century inn with lots of character. Ideal location for the ferry.

We were in a twin room but there was no mention that you couldn’t have a shower. Due to the sloping ceilings there was no space to stand in the bath.

Location is so very central within a market square in Yarmouth.

Nothing especially. Surprised the radiator was on and hot in August. Surprised there was a large fan in the room, albeit rather ineffective.

Lovely place to stay.

Some very muffled noise from pub below. The staff kindly supplied a noisy fan, which masked it. No problem at all after that.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Great food, recommend the gammon steak! Room comfortable.

We thought breakfast was overpriced, while nice it seemed expensive for what was actually available.
