The situation was lovely, having the cafe nearby very handy. We enjoyed the breakfasts with lots to choose from. The beds, and size of room, all good. Having kitchen and fridge freezer facilities appreciated. Only issue is the sound carries in the corridors and from neighbouring rooms. Great base for day trips.

The noise after 10pm from families and people talking loudly, children screaming, running up and down the corridors and doors constantly being slammed. Would have liked to be able to do laundry. Tad expensive but guess given the location the price to have to pay.

Lovely location,all you can hear is birds singing around you... it's basically on a farm or right in nature. Check-in was done all electronically,everything worked great. King size bed in our room was very comfortable. The room was a little small, and the bathroom was even smaller. The sink looked like a toy,and the shower was very small, too. It didn't bother us at all,but for some larger people, the shower could be a little challenging. We stayed in room 20 , which was probably the cheapest one,perhaps in more expensive rooms, the shower and size of the room and bathroom are bigger Nevertheless......we loved our stay It was very quiet,the complex is new or newer,very well designed, and kept Breakfast was in the cafeteria 3 min walking distance from our room ,selection was good,we couldn't find anything to complain about, and again......beautiful nature all around you. We will definitely stay at their facilities if we're in the area again Ludvik,Canada

The place is very lovely and completely as described. The staff is super sweet and the room and lounge very new, comfortable and clean. Two things to keep in mind though: it is very difficult to reach by transport and if you’re there without a car your kinda stuck. There is not much to make yourself a warm dinner on location as well (only a cafe during the day) and I think a microwave would make things already better. We ignored the warnings on the website but we should have taken it more seriously. Also, if you’re an experienced hiker, you can be done with all the hikes on the same day. We booked two days thinking we needed time to complete all of them, but we were very bored the second day. And because there is only one bus out of the place per day, we couldn’t do much. Again, completely our fault, as we misunderstood the description of the place.

We really really enjoyed this stay. There was only one other couple staying in the accommodation so it was really quiet which was perfect (and the other couple were lovely). The room had everything we needed (except shampoo/conditioner - I used the hand wash instead which could have been risky but it actually did a fine and glossy job!). We utilised the kitchen/common room facilities and everything was there that we were expecting. We knew there were no cooking facilities so we'd packed up a pre-prepared picnic dinner; being able to use the plates, crockery and washing up facilities was therefore great. The breakfast was delicious - a great continental served in the café with lovely croissants. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff we met were absolutely lovely and we had a really beautiful stay. We also did the oak, juniper and heather routes around the centre before coming back for a delicious chai and mocha the afternoon we left.

The property is obviously very new, so everything is clean and good quality. It feels a bit like a hostel for middle class people, everything is basic but very nice. For example toiletries and linen are good quality, breakfast was really nice.

It is very impersonal with self check-in. There are also signs everywhere with information, but this is a bit overwhelming as nothing is clear. I would have preferred for the price to have been met by a staff member who simply explained everything, rather than having lots of posters to read.

The location very clean & well looked after. Could hear a pin drop at night. Bed very comfy , shower hot. Breakfast continental this made a nice change, no B&E option. Parking no issue, the 3 min walk for breakfast not an issue. Very good was the amount sockets in the room & charging points. No kettle in the room, at first found strange but did get you out of the room to the communal area, (kitten & longe)

Communal area could have done with a microwave at least we could cook bing, bing food, Two nights out of the three we drove over to Fort Augustus (14 miles) dinner as nearest place was closed & other 10 min drive couldn’t get in due to being full. Shame as did have two really good kitchens areas with table & chairs.

When we travelled, there were road closures all around the place. We received every detail in advance in a message, with a map attached on how to avoid the roadworks. Nevertheless, we ran into a suspicois situation, where we were not sure if we are allowed to enter or not. It was 12pm in the night and we were able to get in touch with a supportive lady, who helped us in a really kind way inspite of the late hour. When approaching the place at night, watch out for the deers ;)

The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The location within the rewilding project was excellent - lots of walks from the door.

This is more university hall-of-residence than hotel. The noise from doors slamming shut started at 0630 one morning - and boy does it echo throughout the building - and the soundproofing between rooms is non-existent. There is an open-air walk to the cafe for breakfast. The cafe provided only tiny expresso cups for breakfast - way too small for a cup of tea. I believe however it is still in its infancy and some small changes would improve it a lot - particularly sorting out those doors! I consider the price is very high for this level of accommodation. Perhaps best to regard it as a contribution to the rewilding project and enjoy the splendid surroundings?

The place is very new, clean and peaceful. It’s accessible for everyone. Automatic check-in was very easy. The bed was huge and super comfortable my backache was gone in 2 days :) Nice breakfast with glutenfree ans vegan options. The nature surrounding is amazing. In the night we saw the milk way with our bare eyes, the sky was unforgettable. The staff was very friendly.

It’s a bit too white in the bathrooms, gave a bit hospital vibe. The breakfast span could be longer (it was only 8 am -9 am). No toiletries or chair/something for sitting available. I think they expect you to sit on the communal areas which looked quite comfortable but we didn’t use it. The rooms are a bit small.

The stay was awesome, we arrived very late in the night yet no hassle in getting the keys. It's fully automated. Well communicated. The mattress was very clean, a very big bathroom with mobility fittings, great communal area. The breakfast was great and the staff in the cafe were very polite, helpful and generous. We were offered free coffee and cake (though we politely rejected it,as we had what we needed) , as the buffet had almost finished due to the arrival of a huge group.

We didn't see the microwave oven in the communal area, it would be great to have to reheat the food we bring from outside. We would like a mirror in the bedroom as well.
