The food in the place was amazing and the complimentary afternoon tea with homemade cookies and cakes was a great touch!! Set in a beautiful location overlooking the loch and surrounding hills with it's own small pebble beach with benches was great too. If you go, we highly recommend the spa treatments, for being within the hotel itself, the prices for the treatments were extremely reasonable and the treatments themselves were fantastic!!! Breakfast in the morning too was delicious with plenty of choice from the hot and cold buffets. Really enjoyed our stay.
The prices for eating in were quite expensive - but this is to be expected in this area of the highlands, similar pricing was found in eateries within Fort William itself.

The view is stunning and the lodge is beautiful and enjoyed every second in the property. The staff really friendly and so polite, the restaurant offer a delicious food with variety options with a complementary tea time.
Although I booked a room with a balcony, I was suprised that smoking in the balcony is not allowed and I had to go outside the lodge to smoke which is inconvenient. Sadly, I didn’t rent a car which limited my access to the surrounding of the area as everything not accessible by walking, so highly recommend to tent a car prior checking in. Although, tours available to be booked in the reception but unfortunately without a transportation.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and pointed to a complimentary afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the loch which was delightful. The staff without exception were friendly, smiling and very helpful. Our room was a luxury loch view and was stunning. Everything was immaculate and the bathroom was beautiful. At dinner we chose from a large selection of Indian cuisine. Our curry and garlic nan was delicious. The homemade Kulfi was incredible, you must try it! The menu was extensive and included dishes from pretty much every corner of the globe. We found there would be something for absolutely everyone. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of foods. The views from this hotel are amazing and we slept so well.. Ashly was a standout member of staff for the best customer service ever.

From first walking through the door, the staff were exceptional and friendly. The setting was stunning, the food excellent. We loved the little cosy pub within the hotel. We wanted a peaceful getaway for our anniversary, and this hotel delivered on all fronts. The night manager (sorry not so sure of his name) was extremely helpful and friendly, and Bhavitha in the restaurant was lovely too. Food arrived quickly and was some of the best food we have eaten. We would recommend the Butter chicken and Kulfi. Could have stayed for longer and wish we had. We will definitely come back at some point.
There isn't one bad thing I could say about this hotel.

The whole setting was magical and whimsical, the location, attention to so many details in the decoration. The bedrooms are very well thought out and the amenities the details. Breakfast was very nice pretty solid. The cabins are also perfectly cute. The receptionist that assisted us was very nice and attentive, my father is in a wheel chair and unfortunately me and my sister were going to have to carry him up the stairs but he was very nice and worked out a solution for us. The Barman was also very nice.
On the same day I called because of my father and the receptionist wasn’t very nice or helpful on the phone. There are lodges on the location, she said there was none available for that day, upon arrival we discovered that there was. The restaurant for the price could up up it’s taste and flavors.

The perfect lodge in a perfect location. The room vas very spacious, the bathroom was so nice and neatly decorated. The dining area and connecting patio with the loch view is out of this world, it is like a fairy tale. High quality dishes and ingredients, the menu itself is strong on indian cuisine but anybody can find something to eat (half of it is packed with international items). Everyone was extremely helpful and nice.
Maybe the water pressure in the shower could be fixed but it didn’t reach an inconvinience level, certainly did not affect our stay.

Great location with great staff and excellent food overall. The breakfast is small but has everything you need and is replenished constantly. There is ample hassle free parking. The Spa is small but good prices with great knowledgeable staff. The weather was not kind when we were there but with our balcony we still had great views and wonderful memories. The underfloor heating in our room was great as was evening turn down service and plenty of bottled water with good selection of tea and coffee provided in the room
The rooms are looking a bit tired now and the beds a bit uncomfortable. The lighting could be a bit brighter in the rooms but there were plenty of power points etc with USB slots. Our room only had a shower which was fine but it took ages for the water to warm up and then never became hot but you could shower. The room was cleaned everyday but the floors never swept or cleaned properly as leaves etc that had blown in were still there on our last day. The sound proofing needs to be improved between floors as we could hear every sound from the room on the floor above but I guess as this is an old building to be expected.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful .Location is absolutely stunning .Have stayed in many hotels all over the world but this was comfortable , the service was friendly , discreet and efficient and the food is excellent.
I wouldn’t say there was anything to dislike about the property but I would recommend travelling there by car in order to visit nearest villages and also to go on woodland walks . We travelled by train and hotel is on a stretch of road that has no pavements and is busy so not conducive to exploring . Food is very good but it is quite expensive.

We were pleasantly surprised at check in when we were told that they had upgraded us from a King room with balcony to the superior suite. It was huge with a balcony overlooking the loch, sitting area, dining table, and fireplace. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous with a soaking tub and separate shower. The Lodge has a restaurant and separate bar area. Breakfast was tasty. There was a large buffet and also hot foods that could be ordered. We had dinner there one night and appreciated the varied menu. It's a great location from which to explore many areas: Fort William, Glencoe, Loch Ness. The view of the loch from our balcony and the restaurant was stunning.
The staff were very efficient, but not warm and friendly.

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff were immensely helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and the decor throughout the hotel was superb. Enjoyed an evening meal there as well. It was an overnight stopover, we were travelling with bikes on our car and the staff were very helfpul finding us a secure location to keep our bikes. The hotel could consider providing lockable bike storage but they were flexible and helpful in the absence of this so no complaints!
There was nothing not to like.
