We were given a spacious room in the cottage which is primarily a self catering facility so we didn't really get to interact with any of the staff. The room is very well equipped, clean and comfortable and the property is in a quiet location near Fort William which was ideal for our two night visit. The property is dog friendly which also allowed us to bring our 12 year old labradoodle.

There was nothing not to like however compared to some of the properties of a similar standard that we have stayed in during our 19 day tour of Scotland I would question the value for money

It was great to have a spacious room as we were travelling with our kid and it's difficult to fit a travel cot into a room that's already too small from the start. The pub downstairs was great and the location was just beautiful.

The staff at the Castle hotel (where you pick up and drop off the keys) were not friendly and accomodating which came a bit as a surprise (considering what a beautiful and high-end hotel it is). But the staff at the Factor's Inn was lovely and that made up for it!

We visited this accommodation in the middle of renovations of an adjacent building. It was an ordeal trying to find where to check in as we were confronted by no-entry signs related to building. as it turned out, this was the road we had to follow to Reception. Our room was large and in fact had two ensuite toilet/shower rooms! Double bed was comfortable and had a good sleep

Our room was rather “tired” with a ageing carpet and damage to walls at doorways. Dinner options at property are rather limited with dinner starting at a whopping £145 each!!! Alternative is a 4 mile drive to Fort William. On arrival and departure we shared the staircase with removalists moving furniture etc. Hopefully this is not always the case.

Great accommodation, very spacious, immaculately clean with everything we needed.

The only thing would be having no to drop the key back at the main hotel on the morning before leaving instead of being able to get to get straight on the road

Obviously the setting! In the grounds of Inverlochy Castle Hotel, spectacular countryside. Rooms spacious and super comfortable. The factor's Inn Country Pub was located in the same building as apartments and offered an excellent dinner with a limited menu.

2nd time visit, lovely large room, 2 bathrooms, very clean. Lookout amazing veiw of Ben Nevis.

No pillow protectors, blood marks on pillows , wrong size sheet on bed so keep coming off. Sofa old and not able to sit on. No small fridge to keep milk in, if you dont like UHT milk.

Location out of town was actually a good thing. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable, bathroom shower was top notch. Had dinner at the property, fixed price meal was fantastic! It’s a 9.999 out of 10

Our stay was too short, a minimum of two days in the next stay.

Information provided was inaccurate - I was told check out was at 10:00 and it was 11:00. I was told it had no bar, restaurant or public area but there was a bar serving food in the same building.

We had to go up to the castle to collect the keys, and then go back and drop them off in the morning. Not sure why we could not have picked them up from the pub (where the room was) - we were very underdressed for the castle!

The location is stunning. The room, the bed, the bathroom, all top notch and luxurious. I highly recommend Factors Inn. I would love to stay here again.
