We hired 3 of the lodges for a week. We arrived during a storm so electricty/wifi had gone in the area and the owners couldnt do enough to make sure we were settled and had some facilities untill it came back on. The area is perfect, very quiet and lots of space. Lodges are comfortable, warm and cosy and a perfect get away from day to day life. Watch put for the hungry cat that can get in very easily haha!

No control on it, but lots of midgies in the area so make sure you take something to stop the bites!

The lodge was clean and had all the essentials you'll need for a relaxing holiday. Perfect for a family the lodge was spacious and had lovely outdoor space. During our stay there was a storm the staff couldn't have been more helpful and provided a generator so we had electricity until power was restored. The lodge provided information of local places to visit including boat cruises and forest walks. We visited many places and explored this picturesque part of Scotland. Would definitely recommend Torcroft lodges.

A lovely place bang in the forest and the very friendly landlord made us feel welcome straight away. Cosy place with really nice and well thought-out interior. Comfy beds, fully-scale kitchen, and there even were some supplies in the fridge. (Remember to do your shopping upfront though, it's a bit of a treck to the next supermarket.) I loved the fact that the place is set out to be really environmentally friendly in every possible way. On top it was nice and quiet, perfect for exploring the surrounding area or just some plain old relaxing. I would definitely be very happy to stay there again!

The lodge was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. We loved the location, lots of beautiful places to visit. We did some of the trails at Glen Affric - including Plodda and Dog Falls. The scenery was breathtaking. Its a very short drive to Drumnadrochit and the attractions around Loch Ness. We also had a lovely drive out to the coast. Swimming at Rosemarkie Beach and we spotted dolphins at Chanonry Point. Brilliant value for money. Would love to visit again.

We couldn't have asked for a more suitable lodge, it had everything one could ask for, and it was only a short drive from Drumnadrochit and all the main attractions we wanted to see. The hosts were warm and friendly, there was even a free mini laundrette on site.

Nothing to dislike at all.

A lovely setting. Just right for our family as the wee one could run around on the massive lawn outside. The lodge was spotless, fully equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Less than 10mins drive from Drumnadrochit and 30mins from Inverness. Simon was really friendly and saw us tothe lodge to provide all important information. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back!

Nothing to improve upon.

Wonderful cabin, quite roomy and homey. All necessities available and location was very accessible. Drummadrochit is only a short drive away with a shop and some nice places to eat.

Cabin gets quite cold, especially the floor. Bring a few extra sweaters when visiting outside summer. Our cabin viewed on the common grassfield; not bad (and the view in the distance is wonderful!), but the view on the side and back of the cabin would've provided a more foresty view.

Beautiful quiet location hidden up in the hills. Cosy spacious lodge with well equipped kitchen. Separate laundry room was very handy when travelling with young kids!

The bath is an awkward shape for standing in under the shower! It narrows right where you need to stand. Also the bathroom could benefit from a wall mounted heated towel rail. It rained most days so couldn't hang anything out.

The whole set up is just perfect. Just what you need for some R&R. Peaceful and tranquil, the lodge has everything you need for your stay. Plus they're little extras provided.

The only downside for us was there aren't any handles to help you in and out of the shower which is over the bath.
