Beautiful views across to Loch Ness. Excellent shower. Delicious food in the restaurant. Outstanding breakfast. Convenient for a boat ride on Loch Ness. Great that there's no extra car parking charges. Convenient souvenir shop on site. Dedicated person managing movement of coaches and people at peak times. Checking in and out is a smooth and simple process.

Can get very busy in the car park with coaches and other visitors, so need to be careful leaving in the morning or returning at busy times. However, there's dedicated traffic management on site to help keep everyone safe. The view out of the room window was not much to look at but understood it was the only option for a family room with a double and single bed. The elevator (lift) was out of order but assistance was offered to carry heavy bags upstairs to the room.

view excellent along with a comfy family room that suited our needs perfectly the staff from check in breakfast restaurant to check out were some of the best ive had for a very long time helpful and friendly starting to look a bit dated generally but we were out most of the day some nice little touches in the room

the artist in reception is an off put pictures are the standard of a 12 year old awful it is crammed tight with pictures i was itching to chuck the lot in a skip what a mess not even nicely presented far too many of them do we not have scottish talent up there what an embarassment makes us look bad disabled lift was appreciated but could have done with a spruce up

Loved the whole trip. We had booked and paid for a different hotel to find when we got there it didn't open until April. We had travelled up from Manchester so it was too long to travel. We looked and found the clansman hotel, so we went there and met the lovely manager Adam, he booked us in and gave us a lovely room with a view of loch Ness, Adam really took care of us thank you The next morning we went down for breakfast and met Clare and a lovely man who wore glasses (sorry I didn't get your name), they were welcoming, warm and went above and beyond. The food was outstanding, the breakfast (Nessie's big breakfast was hearty and fresh, also the scrambled eggs were real and not powered, best poached eggs to, just lovely, the cleaning staff was very friendly. The Clansman is definitely a place we'd go back to. The cruise station is just across the road, for a cruise on loch Ness, it was cold so would recommend the whisky hot chocolate to warm you up, Adam makes a good one to 🥰. If you can ever get to book here then do it, it's a lovely experience with lovely people (staff). So thank you all so so much for our lovely stay ❤️x

There was nothing we didn't like.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. Nestled right in front of Loch Ness, the views were nothing short of spectacular… waking up to that scenery was like a dream 🩷 The location is unbeatable, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth and care of the incredible staff. They were not only professional, but genuinely sweet and thoughtful. It happened to be my birthday during the stay, and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. It was the kind of thoughtful service you never forget. The hotel itself has a lovely leisure vibe, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the Highlands. We did a lovely cruise through the Loch Ness and it was out of this world! The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and cozy ambiance… every meal felt like a treat but those mushrooms as starters are to dying for!!! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views, amazing food, and top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel. It was a beautiful place to stay for our first time in Scotland being right on the front of the lock ness was so beautiful and when we woke up it was breath taking views from the moment we looked out of the window the organic shampoos and conditioner and body wash were out of this world and made my hair so soft. The staff were very friendly and warming and smiley which is always important. I wish we could have stayed longer I highly recommend this hotel and I think that they should be rated 4-5 star in our opinion. The gift shop on site was also amazing and the penny machine for your personalised Loch Ness penny was awesome and with an on-site artist shop who’s art work was second to none with very affordable prints just added to the great stay. The coffee and cake in the morning was beautiful with the most amazing views. The hotel was super clean and tidy and had great colour scheme it was warm cosy and inviting. And the house keeping staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Not only was it our first time staying away in a hotel in Scotland we also spread the ashes of my partners grandparents which has made it a memorable place in our minds that we will 100% visit again thank you so much for such a memorable holiday.

The only little moan I had to myself was that the shower took a while to warm up but that’s understandable with being so remote and with how cold it was outside The designated smoking area maybe needs a little map in each room so people who stay know exactly were to go and how to get their at night as some people don’t like to disturb people.

Beautiful location and views. Love that the Jacobite harbor is right across the street. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating our late check in.

It was a bit expensive for the overall quality of the hotel, but the views were lovely and I suppose its unique location makes sense for the pricing.

I absolutely loved almost everything about this wonderful hotel! The location is superb, the staff are all so friendly, from the people working in the café, the front of staff in the restaurant, all the other people working serving food, reception staff, cleaners, shop staff, and the artist in residence. They were all so helpful. The room was lovely, clean roomy and well equipped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

I wasn't overly keen on the stairs, I have MS and it's a bit of a pain, but there weren't too many. Also had a bit of trouble with the shower, but this could be easily fixed.

The staff were very helpful, very friendly. The bed was very comfotable, the room was lovely and warm ( cold, wet night) Towels and toiletries good quality. Wonderful view over the loch especially as we had a fabulous sunrise. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and again staff were lovely in warm comfortable dining room with spectacular views of the loch.Parking was good and free. Did not have Dinner as we were attending a friends birthday nearby.

MINOR drawbacks. No tea variations ie Earl Grey or herbal and Shower had no sliding rail shower head, only overhead, but bathroom otherwise excellent.

The restaurant had a wonderful view of the loch and the food was superb. The room was clean and comfortable. Loch boat cruises available opposite the hotel. Ample parking. Good gift shop and a superb local artist selling his paintings at reasonable prices.

Bedroom furniture and door a little outdated but I am being very picky. Bathroom newly furnished, all clean, lovely big shower. Great T.V in room. Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working but didn’t affect our stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable, though quite basic, with a nice comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also pretty basic but spotlessly clean and serviceable. Breakfast was excellent. We also had a very nice evening meal in the restaurant but it was very expensive. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay and the gift shop and local art studio in the foyer were nice diversions. The bar has a nice terrace area where we sat looking out over the northern end of the loch and watching Swallows performing fabulous aerobatics. Of course, the jewel-in-the-crown was Loch Ness, which is just across the road from the hotel, and there is a safe clean underpass from the hotel car park to the Loch side where you can get a relaxing boat ride to the ruins of Urquhart Castle a few miles up the loch. As an added bonus on the night we stayed, which was my wife's birthday, the Northern Lights were forecast to be visible. We went over to the loch side at 2:00am and were treated to an hour or so of spectacular colours in the sky that were also often visible reflected on the surface of the water! That was definitely one ticked off our bucket list!

Our room was tiny and at the back of the hotel, so the view was just an overgrown hillside instead of the view over the loch we had been expecting. Our evening meal, though very nice, was very expensive compared to many other places we have stayed with a similar standard of food.
