What a charming old Scottish house ! Our room (Nbr 2) was spacious, nice, and clean, with a wide bow window overlooking the front garden and another door opening to a terrace with 2 armchairs to rest in front of the back lawn. The bed was very comfortable, and the large table was big enough for a group of four. We had enough tea, coffee and water supplies for our stay. This property is self check in, and it’s easily done thanks to a code we received before the check in time (16:00). We had the pleasure to meet the owner Andrew who kindly explained us the house facilities.

As it’s an old house, maintenance may be challenging and there may be some points to improve eg some humidity spots in the bathroom. But the comfort of the bedroom made these points as insignificant details, and we spent 2 peaceful nights in this house. To be noted : it’s about 10mn drive from Inverness city center but it’s very quiet and green. It’s also close to a large Tesco superstore.

The smooth and fast self check in due to the provided code and precise instructions by the hotel management. Room was well cleaned and amenities were excellent and in abundance. Location is ideal while visiting Inverness and surroundings as it is quite a small drive to the city centre as well as gives you a feeling of staying at country side. The guidance provided to access the hotel location proves that management cares about the guests after the booking and during the stay too. As I have a very short stay so I was unable to enjoy the well maintained green areas in front and back of the property but it will be a big plus point for the guests with children and those who want to spend more relaxing time at the property.

Loved the location. just a 5 minute drive from local facilities including Supermarkets, Restaurants and Local Tourist sites. Our room was on the ground floor, lovely and spacious and perfect for our Dog, he loved being able to pop in and ut of the garden.

The Building has so much history behind it, it feels like it has had the bare mimimum of investment in its upkeep in recent times. The garden is a beautiful size and could make for a lovely space for families to enjoy. The garden is completely unkempt, the outside decking areas to the ground floor have not been maintained and are looking incrediby drabby. It feels like its been used as a money making exercise offering the bare essentials for short term stopovers, whereas it has so much potential to become something so much better.

Drumdevan had a n ice feel to it. The communication in regard to how to get in and our room number was good. It had good off road parking and the rooms were a good size. The beds was comfy and the shower was hot. The tea and coffee making facilities were as expected. Its location close to Lochness was lovely.

Contactless check in takes away from this style of accommodation I feel. It would be nice to be welcomed to an old country house by a person. As the rooms were a good size a comfy chair/s to sit in rather than a table and chair (as there is no cooking facilities) would have been nice. It appeared on the Map that the water was perhaps a walk away and if this is the case to have a map of the quickest way to walk to the Loch would have been great.

We only booked because we needed a place to sleep before taking friends to the airport at a very early hour. We booked because it was the most reasonable rates in the height of tourist season and a good location to the airport. We were extremely surprised to discover we booked such a lovely place in a quiet setting. Even more so, one of our r rooms was upgraded to an exquisite 4 poster bedroom with kitchenette! The other room was very small, but it was very clean, cosy and comfortable and fir the few hours sleep we got, it was perfect. We've made a note to ourselves that we will always look to book there whenever friends/family come to stay. We live a few hours away, so it's ideal for those early flights. It's a hidden gem!

Our only suggestion is for the blinds to be checked, some need replacing. Also, it wasn't clear how to get the heating on and the rooms were cold. Once we sussed the thermostats the rooms heated quickly.

Because of my job, I go to lots of hotels, Drumdevan Country House was just perfect, my room was spotless plus plenty of space, my view was lovely . When you book a room here they send you information on how to enter the room , and all your requirements e.g kettle tea/coffee, 2x bottles of water plus biscuits are waiting for you. I think that a fresh coat of paint on the outside of the house would make it perfect.

The bed was very comfortable and the room furnished beautifully. Nice to have a small kettle, fridge, tea and coffee supplies. Easy to get inside with code given.

The renovations haven't quite finished, missing door handle covers, carpet in the corner different (a large patch from removing a wardrobe?) dusty under the bed and bathroom silicon mouldy. The outside of the house looks almost derelict but once inside much better and the rooms lovely. Access to a fridge and microwave would be good given you're a ten minute drive from any restaurants or cafes and no breakfast is provided.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was in a green leafy part on the outskirts of town which suited us v well.

It was a bit unclear what the code was to open the front door but once we contacted the office the staff were helpful and it was sorted. The general ambience of the grounds and the entrance hall seemed rather worse for wear. After the problem with the key code, it was a bit off putting.

Small and very peaceful and the feel of a real home. Very well supplied with tea/ coffee and bottles of water. Spotlessly clean , a good walk in shower( maybe provide a mat though as a bit slippery), and two comfy chairs and a table in room.

My only problems were the bed was extremely high so as someone with mobility issues I found it hard to get on and off! It was also very hot on arrival so we had windows wide open . I also suggest a rubber mat for shower as slippery. Also no breakfast so had to go to Asda to eat something before taking medication etc.

The room was spacious and cosy, the bed was large ans comfortable. It was nice to have a table & chairs in the room. Lovely location - far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, but a short car drive away from everything you might need. The grounds are doned with amenities to enjoy the outside, whether it is eating, having a drink, or reading a book.

The room was too hot and we couldn't turn off or decrease the heating. It did turn off by itself sometimes during the evening, but the room was steaming. The shower stream was a bit poor too.
