The location and rooms are beautiful! It is so close to anything you would need but far enough out and secluded where you think you are out in the country. I would book again!

I never received a confirmation email or message from the property managers aside from my original confirmation and since no staff is on site it was difficult to get in. During my stay, I had 2 different sets of boarders who needed assistance, and I was able to give them some, but neither received room information. The 2nd set of boarders were in luck because I had their confirmation for room numbers that had been sent to me through the booking.com app in messages! Both sets came in the middle of the night between 10 and 12.

Host instructions were very clear, providing certifications to hygiene and booking.com ratings. Spotless room, upon entering country house there was free breakfast, leaflets and books provided by the host. Beds were comfortable giving our stay a great night sleep. Beautiful backyard which provided a seated shelter area where you can take in the noises of the wildlife surroundings. Bathrooms and rooms very clean and spacious. Mini fridge provided which was great considering we had travelling drinks to store. Dining table was clean and a nice touch to sit where we decided to watch TV with a cup of tea in the morning (biscuits provided).

Radiator in the bathroom didn’t seem to work. TV also couldn’t connect to YouTube, potentially WiFi issue to television.

What a charming old Scottish house ! Our room (Nbr 2) was spacious, nice, and clean, with a wide bow window overlooking the front garden and another door opening to a terrace with 2 armchairs to rest in front of the back lawn. The bed was very comfortable, and the large table was big enough for a group of four. We had enough tea, coffee and water supplies for our stay. This property is self check in, and it’s easily done thanks to a code we received before the check in time (16:00). We had the pleasure to meet the owner Andrew who kindly explained us the house facilities.

As it’s an old house, maintenance may be challenging and there may be some points to improve eg some humidity spots in the bathroom. But the comfort of the bedroom made these points as insignificant details, and we spent 2 peaceful nights in this house. To be noted : it’s about 10mn drive from Inverness city center but it’s very quiet and green. It’s also close to a large Tesco superstore.

The smooth and fast self check in due to the provided code and precise instructions by the hotel management. Room was well cleaned and amenities were excellent and in abundance. Location is ideal while visiting Inverness and surroundings as it is quite a small drive to the city centre as well as gives you a feeling of staying at country side. The guidance provided to access the hotel location proves that management cares about the guests after the booking and during the stay too. As I have a very short stay so I was unable to enjoy the well maintained green areas in front and back of the property but it will be a big plus point for the guests with children and those who want to spend more relaxing time at the property.

Loved the location. just a 5 minute drive from local facilities including Supermarkets, Restaurants and Local Tourist sites. Our room was on the ground floor, lovely and spacious and perfect for our Dog, he loved being able to pop in and ut of the garden.

The Building has so much history behind it, it feels like it has had the bare mimimum of investment in its upkeep in recent times. The garden is a beautiful size and could make for a lovely space for families to enjoy. The garden is completely unkempt, the outside decking areas to the ground floor have not been maintained and are looking incrediby drabby. It feels like its been used as a money making exercise offering the bare essentials for short term stopovers, whereas it has so much potential to become something so much better.

It was back away from the city, and a very country setting

There was no staff per se, check in and check out was very easy. Our room was on the top floor, and there was no lift, which made it very difficult for us as an older couple. Since we were at the top floor, it was very hot at night, one of the beds was under a slanted part of the roof, which made it very claustrophobic. The beds were wonderful and other than the above mentioned minor issues, the room was very nice. If I were to book it again, I would ask for a first floor room and paid the extra amount.

Drumdevan had a n ice feel to it. The communication in regard to how to get in and our room number was good. It had good off road parking and the rooms were a good size. The beds was comfy and the shower was hot. The tea and coffee making facilities were as expected. Its location close to Lochness was lovely.

Contactless check in takes away from this style of accommodation I feel. It would be nice to be welcomed to an old country house by a person. As the rooms were a good size a comfy chair/s to sit in rather than a table and chair (as there is no cooking facilities) would have been nice. It appeared on the Map that the water was perhaps a walk away and if this is the case to have a map of the quickest way to walk to the Loch would have been great.

Gorgeous house, just in the outskirts of Inverness, lovely large rooms, with tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge. Bed was really nice, soft and cosy, and the quiet location allowed you to sleep with a bit of ventilation from the windows. Only downside, paintwork could do with a touch up here and there, where repairs have been done, and the shower could do with the sealant being renewed, as mold is starting to take grip in these areas. Other than that, I would really recommend this place to stay at in the Inverness area.

We only booked because we needed a place to sleep before taking friends to the airport at a very early hour. We booked because it was the most reasonable rates in the height of tourist season and a good location to the airport. We were extremely surprised to discover we booked such a lovely place in a quiet setting. Even more so, one of our r rooms was upgraded to an exquisite 4 poster bedroom with kitchenette! The other room was very small, but it was very clean, cosy and comfortable and fir the few hours sleep we got, it was perfect. We've made a note to ourselves that we will always look to book there whenever friends/family come to stay. We live a few hours away, so it's ideal for those early flights. It's a hidden gem!

Our only suggestion is for the blinds to be checked, some need replacing. Also, it wasn't clear how to get the heating on and the rooms were cold. Once we sussed the thermostats the rooms heated quickly.

Because of my job, I go to lots of hotels, Drumdevan Country House was just perfect, my room was spotless plus plenty of space, my view was lovely . When you book a room here they send you information on how to enter the room , and all your requirements e.g kettle tea/coffee, 2x bottles of water plus biscuits are waiting for you. I think that a fresh coat of paint on the outside of the house would make it perfect.
