Location excellent, staff good, food good. Nice and clean and comfotable. Excellent for our wee dog. Good cocktails.

When we arrived there were no remote controls for either of the TV's. No wifi! The receptionist was very helpful and supplied us with a new remote. Although it was the same TV in the bedroom there was not signal. The lamp in the lounge area didn't work, neither did the large clock on the wall. Next mornign trying to make breakfast and the oven worked for the bacon but the hob didn't , so we did without any eggs. Although there were a few glitches it wouldn't stop me staying there again. I informed the staff so that the next occupants didn't have the same experience.

I liked the location and the convenience of a nice restaurant right at the property.

We booked a large apartment because we were traveling as two families. Unfortunately, one family had to cancel last-minute due to their child getting chickenpox. While other hotels were understanding and flexible given the extenuating circumstances, this property was not. Management was not accommodating or particularly kind, and we were still required to pay and stay, even though half our group couldn't join. Disappointing experience overall.

The location, on the river Ness front and close to the town centre was perfect - quiet, attractive but very much in the heart of things. Parking was appreciated too. The hotel itself had a classy charm - it being the Christmas season, it was beautifully decorated and lit, welcoming and relaxing. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The main restaurant was superb - a choice of locally sourced dishes (ones we ate were very well presented and cooked) complemented by a good range of wines including house selections which were excellent. Breakfasts (included in our rate) were comprehensive, freshly cooked and delicious. The whisky bar was particularly well stocked. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The view over the river was lovely. We ate supper there one night, which was again very well prepared and served. Our en-suite room was well equipped, comfortable and roomy and served its purpose well. We would certainly return although this had been a special wedding anniversary visit.

We'd have liked a river view however hadn't asked for one. With one receptionist also training/ serving, there were occasional waits for service - we kept our key to limit this.

Nice location. Water pressure was great on the shower. Bar staff were lovely and professional.

No sound proof, could here coughing from the other rooms and noise from outside. Someone tried to come to our room the next day with a key and did not knock. Couldn’t enter, as we had our key in the lock. Separate taps and no hand shower. Also shower curtain or a longer shower frame would be a good idea, as now the floor was getting wet from taking a shower. Very diffucult switches on the table lamps, annoying. We had a wee view of the river, but not what we were expecting vs the room pictures when we were making the booking

I was staying for 2 nights as I was doing a car trip with friends. The whole stay was first rate. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. The food was delicious and the venue is walking distance into the city. I will certainly recommend the Glenmoriston Townhouse to friends and will definitely book again if I need accommodation in Inverness. Thanks for looking after us so well. Kind regards Paul Yarnold

The price for a one night stay with breakfast was fantastic . Travel for work and usually stay at the premier inn but their prices have went up . Got this fantastic hotel for less and was luxury compared to them . Stunning room and views , coffee machine , bottled water , iron , bath robe , shampoo etc . Dinner was lovely , great choice , bar prices good , and the full Scottish breakfast was fantastic . Definitely be staying there again .

The staff did utmost to accommodate our every request starting from switching to a room on the groundfloor due to our luggage size, providing charging adapter we forgot to bring, sharing all kinds of useful information and even openning the kitchen for us at 4.30 in the morning since we had to catch an early flight. Most importantly, we felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.

Great location beside the river with plenty of parking. Very spacious quiet room in an annexe outside. Annexe had a lovely large sitting room. Good bar food in the evening, though the bar was a little noisy with some big groups in and we did not have the option to eat in the restaurant as we had our dog with us. Nice walks along the river bank Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly helpful staff

The hotel is always our first choice when staying in Inverness and we have stayed many times over the years. The staff are ALWAYS superb and we cannot rate them high enough! Breakfast was amazing yet again - very good value for money. Beds are unbelievably comfy. Rooms always spotlessly clean.

On this occasion our room was situated above the restaurant and we could hear the music despite it not being loud. The room is lovely but not the nicest one we have stayed in. If I may make a suggestion - I’d have the room be better furbished to compensate for the noise, ie. new sofa chairs, carpet.
