It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! The host was incredibly kind and helpful, warmly welcoming us upon arrival. The location was excellent—close to the city center—and the breakfast was delicious with generous portions. the room was spacious, clean and beds were comfy. What truly made the stay special was the host’s hospitality.

By far the best guest house I have ever stayed in. The room are spotless and spacious with everything you need supplied. Staff / owner very friendly and polite. We arrived just after 1pm 2 hours early for check in and our room was ready which was really helpful to us. Location is great 5 minute walk into town, but far enough away so very quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely nothing.

The breakfast was prepared by the owner in a very highland self giving way and very generous. The room was clean and spacious and met all our expectations. The view from the breakfast area was spectacular overlooking Inverness Castle and the hills to the North and West giving a super sense of place and feeling of being at the heart of the highlands.

Everything was acceptable.

The most amazing part was the packed breakfast as I was going on a highlands tour. Such a lovely gesture. The room was big and cozy and had a beautiful view. I enjoyed the Scottish breakfast on my 2nd day.

We enjoyed the whole stay from when we arrived until we left. The room was lovely and comfortable, the location was good, only a 5 minute walk to town centre. Lovely views from the breakfast room. Food was lovely with lots of choice and cooked breakfast was made fresh and not at all greasy. Staff were so lovely and helpful and gave out good information and directions if needed. Would recommend and would stay again

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room and all amenities were great. The view was fab, we enjoyed observing Inverness in all kinds of weather - from foggy evening to sunny winter day. We were super happy with the yummy and warm breakfast, and glad to have some vegetarian options to choose from. Thank you for being such welcoming hosts!

Convenient walking distance to Inverness centre. Lovely views in the distance and of the Inverness palace

I am not sure who the owners/managers were. They never introduced themselves by name. Because we arrived out of hours hours (for which the instructions were very good) they didn’t welcome us the next day or ask if we needed any help or information about anything it was slightly unsettling.

Such a beautiful property with a fantastic host, Catered for my every need and I slept like a baby. I have now popped it in to my favourites hoping for availability on future business trips as I am up in Inverness regularly. Thank you so much for the hospitality and kindness.

Nothing, Perfect evening

An excellent stay - the room was all we needed practically with some pretty decorative touches as well. The bed was very comfy and breakfast was generous and again, everything you could want on offer. We had a lovely view out over rooftops onto Inverness Castle and River Ness.

All good.

Very well positioned for the city and the river with parking available. The room was comfortable with self adjustable heating. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room and furnishings were a little tired.
