Breakfast not included which might have been nice but plenty of options nearby for getting breakfast. Liked having the Chinese restaurant open for an evening meal which was delicious! Particularly helpful to be able to book in early and secure our kayaks in the car park. Appreciated the accomodation on this

Small point but the bathroom was not very private in that a sliding door that didn't really shut properly and no shelves or anywhere to put stuff in the bathroom

Great location next to the locks with shops, restaurants and bars for a nice evening out. ample parking at the back of the hotel/restaurant. Restaurant has special dietary requirements, hotel has spacious rooms although bathrooms a little cramped, but working well. Surprise was the little fridge which worked very well

We stayed over easter weekend so didn't have a whole lot of options. Richmond house was perfect for what we needed for the night. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable and it was tidy. The rooms are above a Chinese restaurant that we ate at and food was not too bad.

The shower in our room sucked but we managed. And there was a dog barking half the night, so it might be a pet friendly hotel not sure??

Great host! I didn't arrive until 10:45pm but was greeted upon arrival and guided to the rear parking and my room. I didn't feel in any way an inconvenience. I only wished I'd arrived in time to take advantage of the integral Chinese takeaway!

Nothing to dislike!

Good location by the locks of the Caledonian Canal and other cafes, shops and bars. TV was good so we could watch the Olympic games. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Parking was not very close, so we had to carry our bags around the corner to get to the car.

Very helpful staff who went out of the way to stay open later for check in. Also was willing to pre-cook Chinese food and have it ready when we arrived. It was some of the best Chinese food my family has had.

Mild issues with water in only one shower

Room was clean, comfy and everything I needed - hair dryer, charging sockets, tea & biscuits , towels. Value for money and great location! Perfect choice for hikers!

If i was being picky the toilet was bit awkward richt next to bath, water pressure was way to low and took 30mins to fill bath but wouldnt stop me booking again.

Location. Walking distance to everything. Arrived in time to visit the shops.

Room was very tight to walk around the bed. Comfortable sleep however you would never hang out in your room.

It was very clean and in a good location. Helen was very nice.

The hot water stopped working and you couldn't use the bath.
