The room was beautiful and very clean. The location is amazing, right in the centre of Fort Augustus, just a pity our room looked out onto the car park. The bathroom was excellent, nice and clean and big for the size of the room. The shower was spacious and good pressure.

The slopping ceiling detracted from the look and movement within the room. The only other thing we didn't like was that the other rooms were still moving around late at night and very early in the morning and you can hear every step from the creaking floors.. Plus the continuous banging of doors as they are all set with door closers, because of that when the doors close the whole building rattles.

The location is great & allocated parking is at the rear of the premises & brings you very close to the entry door of the building which is handy for unloading/loading cases. Entry is via key card obtained from a key safe outside the building & this then lets you enter the internal stair to the rooms & again entry to room is via the key card. The room itself was nice & warm & very clean & with a nice shower room with heated towel rail. The café below serves good breakfast options & is open from 9.00am

The only thing I couldn't get to work was the television which I wasn't really needing anyway & I feel it was maybe just needing fresh batteries in the remote which I'm sure would have been replaced if I had remembered to mention it.

Great location for walking around town and as a stop on Loch Ness. Our room was great, clean, bedding comfortable and nice bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t included but you can go downstairs to the coffee shop and get a discounted breakfast that was excellent. We had dinner at a pizza place behind the Inn and it was the best pizza!

The room was very comfortable but the walls are paper thin. We listened to conversations, doors closing, people walking up stairs, people in the parking lot and it was difficult to get to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper ( and I bring ear plugs) this is not the hotel for you. It pains me to write this because everything else was superb

We were shouted at on arrival at the car park at 2.50pm by a woman over a fence as we drove in, as apparently they share it with Rabbies coach company who have about 9 spaces until 3pm everyday, even though there was only one minibus there at the time so we left and came back after 3pm but not a nice welcome and I didn’t honestly think 8 mini buses were going to turn up and then leave in 10 mins

Perfect location in the town centre, plenty of parking at the back and easy access with a key card to the building. Comfortable beds and clean room. Great view to the canal (not sure if this is something you can choose or if it's random, but we luckily got stunning view) Price was okay for such center location.

To be able to get check in details, we were requested either call or text number given, but we didn't receive reply to text. When calling the same number later we did receive details so not an issue, but would be great if room code could be given through booking.com chat on the day of arrival. Room had twin beds, which wasn't an issue for a one night, but there didn't seem to be ability to choose twin/double.

The owner didn’t help I asked about parking got ??? as an answer paid for the main car park and then there was parking on site ! Front door doesn’t catch an everyone that enters slams it a few times to try to fasten it which makes for quite a bit of noise until everyone knows about it.

Excellent location, beautifully clean, comfy beds, fab shower. Really can't find one negative thing to say about the room.

Perhaps a couple of sensor activated lights in the side alley access to the parking area as it's literally pitch dark at night, and a heads up regards open/close times for nearby Inns for eating as it seems most stop serving around 7pm, but this may have just been down to the time.of year. However, neither of the above would stop us from visiting again.

Location, central to Fort Augustus - convenient parking. Clean and modern room. Nice and light/bright. The heating worked well and the water was hot.

The room was a little tight on the window side - due to a large velux. The ceiling slope was awkward for my husband who banged his head a number of times. Not an issue for me. The lamp on this side didn’t work. The bathroom although brand new, smelt a little drainy in the morning.
