Breakfast had a very good choice but extra if cooked food of which i didn't have. Location is is on a very busy main road which is relentless busy and noisy all day and night. Needed ear plugs to drown out traffic noise. It was a very clean and comfortable room. Bed and bedding was very clean was very comfortable. Ensuite was clean and very good shower. Would gave been nice to have a chair and mirror nearer the plug for doin hair and makeup. But overall very nice.

We liked everything about our short stay. Went to a wedding nearby and needed a place in Royston for a night. Our room had everything we needed. It was spacious, very clean, very quiet and looked very recently refurbished. It had a shared bathroom, but we never saw anybody else using it. Came with a massive shower and a separate toilet too. Breakfast was very tasty and affordable. Very friendly owner. Smooth check-in and check-out. Walking-distance to the train station and town centre. Would happily stay again if in the area again!

Exceptional refurbishment. Spotlessly clean, fresh white bed linen, fluffy white towels, comfortable beds (albeit there was only one room available when I booked with twin beds). Water available in main fridge, coffee/tea making facilities in room. Very easy check in; individual envelopes for all guests. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast included although I didn't stay to eat this, it did look appetising!

Twin bedded room with no ensuite (only room available when I booked). However, the shared bathroom/WC was huge and newly refurbished and there was a separate WC which I understand is only shared between two rooms.

A beautiful place to stay, warm, cosy and welcoming. Everything you could need for a perfect stay. The room was clean, bright and warm. The bed and pillows were so comfy I slept really well. Maire was fantastic. She is super friendly and couldn’t have done more for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be back when next in Royston.

The owner was very accommodating and helpful, which really made my stay easy and worry free. I reached out regarding the check in time and was able to check in outside of the hours on booking.com which I really appreciated. There was also a helpful information sheet when I checked in.

Some rooms have a shared bathroom and a shared toilet, this is fine especially given the excellent price point, but it does mean the shower can be contested in the morning.

The house is well maintained and exceptionally clean. Wonderful beds and linen. We took the 4 bed room with the kids and everything was spotless. There was a kettle and tea in the room. We stayed a single night.

There is some traffic in the morning depending on which windows were open. It was quite hot outside and we needed to open all windows to get air moving. Perhaps a fan for the hottest nights will work better.

Maire was very friendly and accommodating. The room was an excellent size, very nicely finished and fantastic for a family. En-suite was excellent. Great choice for b/fast in the morning. Parking was great too.

The room only has shutters and no curtains meaning the sun light came into the room very early.

Very clean and comfortable. A lot of money has obviously been spent bringing it up to a superb standard. We needed a bed for the night after going to a wedding. We were able to arrange to pick up keys and see our room before the wedding so that we could arrive very late without any difficulty. Breakfast was perfect and the owner was lovely

I thought for £90 perhaps poached eggs on toast or boiled eggs could be offered. All cooked foods were extra. I had cereal and toast and a pot of tea.

The blue rug in my bedroom (5) could've been cleaner. It looked like it hadn't been hoovered recently as it had a few bits of tiny paper/fabric on it.

The host was wonderful. Lotsof local knowledge. The room and bed was super comfortable and the fan in the room was the added extra that really helped on a very hot night. Breakfast was wonderful and very tasty.

Everything was wonderful. There was nothing not to like x
