This was my first time staying in a Hilton hotel. The reception desk was decked out really nice, as was the bar and lounge area and the open fire was a lovely touch. The staff we're amazing, especially Alek who added that extra touch to make our stay more magical. The property is very well located in the centre of Cambridge. I felt that the staff would go the extra mile for you and that is what would make me return to another Hilton in the future.

I would like to offer some constructive criticism as food for thought, to help further improve an already high standard. The pillows while super soft would go flat after a while and offer no support, this gave myself and my partner cricked necks by the morning. There were no alternative pillows on offer. There wasn't much room to place bags and clothes in the room, a shezlong or a similar seat would have been useful and nice for us both. The room had a decent shower but no bath unfortunately. Personally I am a light sleeper and the wooshing sound of the adjacent river kept me awake for quite a while, but I got used to it by day 2, and it was worth it for the view in the morning.

There was dust in the room and the housekeeping was average, hit and miss depending upon who was cleaning for the day. Our sheets were not changed for the 4 nights we were there. On one particular day, bed hadn't even been touched. Basics like tea bags were given but erratic supply in terms of how many English breakfast etc. From 2 tea bags to 4 to none. Rooms were serviced post 3 pm everyday, which is quite late. Service was good. Polite and friendly. One thing I have personally experienced with Hilton is that the staff is generally new. Any queries regarding restaurant recommendations nearby or things to do are generally met with 'check google'

The property is in a fabulous location for exploring. Near the river, colleges and only a short walk into the centre. Rooms were comfortable and well designed we had a lovely view of the river from our first floor room. Staff were friendly at check-in and checked in with us during our stay.

The bar automatically adds 12.5% service charge to everything. I think this is excessive, I do not like service charge being automatically added everywhere now but felt that to pay it just for a drink was a lot! Took a while to be served at the bar too which made the service charge even more ridiculous. We did ask them to remove it a few times but shouldn’t have to.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, always smiling. Lots of staff around so never had to wait or go looking for help. We had a problem with the information I'd been given in an enquiry I had made but it was resolved speedily and efficiently to our satisfaction- wonderful service. Public areas were attractive and comfortable- plenty of places to relax. Garden next to the river was great. Bed was really comfortable!

The bedroom servicing was not good. On a few occasions we had to ask at receptiion for items not being replenished. We found the TV had been tuned to a Spanish channel, and once the toilet in the bathroom had been used and the toilet not flushed.

The location is superb. The restaurants and many bedrooms overlook the river Cam and green spaces and yet it’s only five minutes walking distance to the city center and many colleges. Perfect. The staff was hard working on a busy Bank holiday and very helpful, particularly one man on reception duty early Easter Monday morning. I had lost my credit card and he went out of his way to help me. Thank you very much.

Breakfast a bit pricey. Perhaps offer cheaper options for those who just want a light continental breakfast. Having said that, coffee/tea and biscuits are supplied in all rooms.

Faultless service from the staff who were so friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. Even gave us some Prosecco to celebrate my birthday and a room with a river view. Beautiful bar by the river Cam to relax on a sunny day. Very quiet hotel and comfy bed. EV charging points on site. Easy walking distance into the city.

Some small cleaning issues in the room - small hairs by the side of shower and in the shower and a plastic tag by the bed. Shower door difficult to close and shower gel was facing the wall which meant it squirted down the wall when trying to use it. Nothing too major though and would stay again.

The star of this hotel is the quality of the staff. Absoluty top class. Reception could not have been more helpful They arranged a beautiful alternative room when it was clear my original room would not be available for several hours. When j arrived very late one night with a groip of friends - the bar staff could not have made everyone more welcome and everyone was inpressed

Your room cleaining staff need help. They are brilliant but there are not enough of them for the number of rooms. They are swamped but could not be more helpful

Beautiful hotel, from design to finishings. Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Perfect location close to city centre and on the beautiful river bank with access to the river! Cosy and well stacked rooms. Good hot and cold breakfast - had smashed avocado, first time I see this offered at the hotel breakfast, very on trend and appreciated! Beautiful bar and restaurant at the hotel - encouraged to hang out near the fireplace. Warm pool and whirlpool.

The pool is almost purposely hidden - no signage whatsoever on how to find it, and very far from reception. Indifferent staff member at the pool/gym - did not ask to sign in despite having the register open, so no control over who is using facilities. Did not provide instructions on how to use lockers. No robes or slippers available at the pool, need very weirdly to order this brought to your room - a 20 min journey back to the room from the very remote pool area, waiting for the robe to arrive and go back. Doesn’t make sense and have not seen such arrangement in any other hotel - you either have robes in the room before check in or at the pool. Dirty pool floor.

Graduate Cambridge is in an excellent waterfront location with views of the river from both inside and outside the property. Customer service is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and the food is very good. The manager and reception team are outstanding; all the staff we met were great Customer service is obviously a top feature of this hotel. The theming is great and we would definitely stay here again.

The swimming pool was difficult to find even with directions. Some signage would make this easier for guests. Drinks were a little expensive (we’re used to London prices so not used to cheap drinks) but they had the best stocked bar we’ve seen!

We first called in the hotel for a drink and fell in love with the hotel. We came and stayed for three nights in August 2024. We enjoyed our stay, we immediately felt at home and welcome. The staff were all very kind and created a good and happy feel about the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts and ate in the hotel a couple of times. Having had such a good few days, we returned for a second visit in December 2024. We'll be back again.

On the first two mornings, there seemed to be a shortage of staff, although those on duty did there best to look after everybody. On our last morning, there was a gentleman at the door to greet you, and to direct you to a table and all seemed to be running smoothly, even to having white bread for the toast which was absent on the previous two day. But having said that, these are only trivial things, our stay was excellent. Thank you to all the staff.
