The staff were friendly, the food (Breakfast & Dinner) was excellent. The room was clean & comfortable with plenty of space. The location directly opposite the historically interesting St. Agnes Church was picturesque and handy for several shops etc.

I’d like to be clear that this isn’t an actual “Dislike”, just a note. The hotel is situated right on the Main Street of St. Agnes, which is a nice traditional street, but it can get pretty busy and a bit noisy at certain times of the day - tourist traffic, motorbikes and commercial vehicles etc. you’ll probably have your window open in summertime, so it’s noticeable. However, this didn’t spoil my stay, but it’s worth pointing out if your room is at the front of the hotel. The lovely view of the old church opposite was adequate compensation. Swings & Roundabouts!

Hotel was very central to everything and had its own car park which was a bonus. We had a king ensuite overlooking the church and it was above the main road, we never experienced any noise. The room was super clean and comfortable and had a nice power shower. the room rate came with breakfast which was tasty and fabulous. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and we had a fabulous time.

We were on the 2nd floor with no lift - which was tricky getting cases up there through 3 fire doors. The hall ways and reception area could have been a bit more less cluttered and I would like to see the room rate cheaper or have some 3 for 2 nights outside of the holidays.

This is a beautiful old hotel in excellent condition, everything spotlessly clean and fresh, with a lovely friendly and personal welcome. We were given a room on the top floor up the nicely proportioned staircase, which had a superb view of the pretty church opposite and of the village high street. Everything about the room was squeaky clean and fresh and we had plenty of fresh air through two windows. The pub downstairs didn't disturb with noise and we ate there one night and down the hill at the Peterville the other night. Breakfasts were excellent, too.

The mattress was a bit soft for my taste.

This is a great hotel/pub. Located in the heart of the village. We stayed there during a 4 day walking trip down the coast. 1 night (on the Friday). The bar was lively and food was superb. Drinks reasonable price and the atmosphere of the place was chilled and typically Cornwall. Folk just relaxed, dogs having a wander and no one really caring what they were wearing... Perfect. There was 3 of us so we had a triple room (1 x double and 2 x single beds - family room so to speak). It was £200 but split between 3 it didn't feel too pricy. A lovely place in a lovely village. bakery opposite is very good and poplar. Well worth a visit.

Nothing not to like.

We enjoyed our stay at the St. Ages Hotel. It was far away from the tourist crowds you meet at St. Ives and other places and it is a true experience of the real Cornwall. Sitting in front of the hotel, drinking a Cider and watching the community passing was one of our most exciting experiences. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the pub is the social center for the local community. The avocado toast fro breakfast was amazing

Unfortunately our family room was very small and the room overall lacked character. It had only small windows without any view. The price/value is not given for this type of comfort. Sadly, as apart from the room the St. Agnes Hotel is a true 10.

Staff who answered call and staff who booked in with was great, staff member at hotel late when got back fantastic, staff members in the morning at breakfast some members of staff were great and others not so great. Lovely building nice decor great food great parking in a village where there is no parking. would highly recommend.

The difference in staff interaction, not everyone are the same appreciate that, the stark difference in the morning gave the feeling of welcome and attentiveness to the feeling of going through motion's

Cosy room at the top of the house, compact but fine for a 2-night stay. The staff were helpful and the cooked breakfast delicious!

There was a long and steep climb up stairs to get to the room on the top floor, not great if (as was the case for us) you have heavy luggage and one of you has mobility issues (my wife has to use a walking stick to get about). But it’s hardly the hotel’s fault, as the building is old.

This nice hotel in the town center and run by young people. The ground floor is a pub and it has very nice atmosphere. Rooms are clean. Free car parking available behind the hotel. I stay during my visit for utmb arc of attrition, 8 minutes driving distance to ecopark. It is very close to other restaurants and Cornish bakery.

Nothing. I like everything.

Welcoming staff, felt comfortable as a solo woman traveller, noise as you would expect from staying in a hotel above a historic pub ..but not intrusive. I stayed in the cove room and had a full view of the church and spire light up beautiful, I decided to take my breakfast away which the staff accommodated but I wish I had been able to enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the bar as it looked great

Can’t think of anything
