Really great set up, everything we needed, lovely style and really clean

No opening windows - it really was a shame they had not put in a balustrade and a door to be able to step into the fresh air, even a little

Comfortable room. Very good facilities for children (pool, playroom, playground, nature trail, maze). Very good food and coffee from the cafe. Good location. Porth Beach and Watergate Bay are walkable.

Cafe is closed in the evening. Food and service in the attached restaurant are very mediocre but there is no other option nearby. Newquay town centre is too far to walk if you have young children. I expected more for the money. No capsule coffee machine or bluetooth speaker in the room. Rooms only serviced every 8 days. You have to take your rubbish to the bins and do the washing up before you leave.

When we arrived we were given a 2nd floor room with hills views. Due to arthritis in both my knees I would have struggled to climb two flights of stairs multiple times a day. My husband forgot to add this to the initial booking but when this was mentioned, in 30 minutes we were moved to a ground floor room with sea views. This room was amazing, spacious, modern and had everything and more that we could need.

The menu in the evening restaurant was limited. And not much variety therefore we only ate there once. Which is a shame as it’s would have been perfect to visit more due to the longs days and myself needing somewhere close to our lodgings. Not really a menu to our taste. Would have benefited from some umbrellas outside for shade as this week was hot. To help keep our dog cooler in the day. In the cafe outside area.

Great design, lots of space in room and a separate bedroom for little one - so rare but so welcome when on holiday with children! The swimming pool was excellent and spotlessly clean. Wonderful location, a short walk along the coast path to the beautiful Watergate Bay. Cafe and restaurant both served great food and drinks. The children’s activities in the garden were a real hit with our 4 year old.

The attached restaurant felt understaffed during our stay - service was still warm and friendly but food was quite slow. The set up was a bit more AirBnB while the price was very much in the hotel range - for that price I would have liked a turndown service, restocking on toilet paper, fresh towels etc during our stay. The lack of staffed reception area (although you could always get hold of someone if needed) meant it was a very hands off experience, which some may like, but I always enjoy a smile and a welcome as I go out or return of a day - a very small thing though, all in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Everything was exceptional. We stayed there while one person was remote working, and it was a great space to do this - between the sea views in the apartment and the cafe, there are plenty of places on-site for a week's work. The pool was exceptionally lovely, gym had great facilities, and the whole place didn't feel too crowded. It's also perfectly located - out of town (so it's not busy) but very close to a lovely beach and coastal walks. Very clean. Staff wonderful. Parking great. Plenty of EV chargers. Shampoo and shower gels provided were lovely!

Somewhere to wash and dry sea gear (paddle boards, wetsuits, etc...)

Gorgeous view from the window, friendly staff always happy to help or advise, wonderful pool for both children and adults, restaurant and cafe on site, private kitchen in the room to cook for yourself, parking, nice playground and playroom, laundry room, tennis courts.

If you plan to stay for more than 2 days, you will have to take care of cleaning your room, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, washing towels in the common laundry room where there are 2 washing machines for the entire hotel complex. Or for an additional fee, they can do it all for you.

I thought that the people that worked there were so very pleasant without exception and this made it an especially relaxing environment and a most pleasant place to stay . The gardens were beautiful as was the swimming pool . The food is well thought out too with a good choice and also tasty . My dog was made very welcome and I don’t have children but I was impressed with the facilities for them . I would have loved it there when I was a little boy .

Nothing although my room was great and really well appointed it’s just a little frustrating that you don’t have a balcony as such where you could sit and enjoy it more fully but that’s nit picking because the view from the cliffs is 2 minutes walk max .

All round stylish decor and comfortable rooms. Welcoming staff. Loved that there was a Beryl bike stop on site as the location is a little out of the way from the town. Floor to ceiling windows and ocean view was perfect. Accommodation is so close to lots of lovely beaches.

Check in time of 1600 and check out time of 1000 is not great, especially when you're asked to tidy up and take out your rubbish before you leave. Outside space could be more pedestrian friendly, the front ground floor door is to the restaurant and it's not clear if that's what you should be using to enter the building. On site Beryl bike stop is at the back of the carpark on gravelly ground when it would be better placed closer to the building. Clothes hanger for wet swimming gear and space to leave sandy items would be appreciated.

The place is clean and modern. Very spacious. Quite far from the city centre but sea front. Charging points for electric cars was a big plus. Lovely pool and gym. You can even take classes like Pilates. Big paddle court. Which we wanted to try but had no time for. Staff was friendly.

4pm check in was slightly disappointing Although you get day pass to move around the area. Hotel is right at the end of the city so if you want to get to city centre you have to take a bus or drive or walk for an hour, but it’s a lovely walk by the coast. We stayed 3 nights, so it was slightly disappointing that you have room cleaning included only if you staying to 7 days or more. Fresh towels would have been nice. It would be lovely to have some shower robes and slippers but this property is treated as apartments so the service is different from hotels I guess. At the end we received message asking to load the dishwasher and do the bins before we leave which I thought it’s not okay, given the price you pay per night. Lucky we hardly used the kitchen.

The hotel, location, and view were amazing. I saw in another review that the pictures did not do the view justice, and I couldn't agree more. The facilities offered were more than other hotels I had stayed in. Overall, I had a great visit.

I arrived 10 minutes before check-in and was told the room was not ready, so I would have to wait, but it was ready for exactly the check-in time, which I found a bit strange. After my visit, I also relent that the price of the hotel was quite a lot for 2 nights, considering I was visiting friends and did not have time to use the facilities. I think it would be worth having a booking option without the facilities as it's not always possible for guests to use these and can be considered wasted money.
