Excellent location, just a few miles from the city of Truro so has a community vibe. Victoria Inn is situated next door to a large Co-op and is opposite the bus stop. Meals are absolutely delicious - hats off to the chef/catering team. Fantastic vibe in the dining area which always had a lot of diners, both for breakfast and evening meal. All staff members - from bar to waitresses/managers and cleaners - couldn't be more helpful, whether it's a request for a chair in the bedroom or smaller meal portions (huge portions for evening meal regardless of what is ordered!) Very helpful and informative staff who are brilliant with local recommendations of attractions/hidden gems (Ferry Boat Inn.) Rooms are well maintained and have everything you need (including a fan; it was in the mid 20s when we stayed.) This was our second stay and we were more than delighted with it. Plus the free onsite parking is definitely a bonus.

There are roughly 12 outside steps up to the accommodation. No problem for us but may pose a problem for less mobile people.

The evening meal we had was absolutely delicious, we had breakfast as well so much on the menu and absolutely delicious again for all of the family. There was music on the evening that we arrived which was brilliant. They have a separate room for the sports which my husband loved in the evening. The room was spacious and immaculate. Plenty of beds for everyone. There's nothing bad about staying at this place. Plenty of parking, a spa and co-op next door if you need it. So close to town, Just an excellent place to be

Large room with two very comfortable beds and a two pillows (not always a given these days!). Impressed to see there was a travel cot, heater/fan and full ironing board in the large wardrobe. Breakfast was included and tasty. The carvery was, as always, tasty and plentiful. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast service was a little slow to take our hot food orders and the kitchen very slow, especially on the Sunday when it took over 30 mins to get poached and scrambled eggs on toast and a sausage & bacon bap (there was only one couple who ordered before us). I didn't like the fact the outside door wasn't locked all the time.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely delightful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The place was so nice the girl checking us in was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the stay.

We had supper with the buffet. We arrived 525pm. We were told to wait until our table was told to go. Reminded them once as the buffet wasn't busy. 5:50pm was told to go. The buffet was over at 6pm. All the food meat dry/ yorshire pudding hard as a rock/ it just wasn't good. Please don't be last to the buffet you will be disappointed. The breakfast the next morning was really good.

We were staying for local football match so the location was perfect. Only a 15 minute walk to the ground. Nice double bed, excellent shower. Dinner on the Friday night was good - Fish and chips. The additional onion rings were freshly made and plentiful but a bit on the oily side. Nice cider and lager. The cooked breakfast was lovely. Really good service from all the staff. Adequate price.

It was clean and lovely breakfast in the morning. Staff were all nice and helpful. Shower had been renovated at some point and worked pretty well for an older place.

The stairs to get up to the room but that can’t be helped. It’s a drive out of the main part of town but the meals on site are nice so no need to leave if you don’t want to and convenience store next door too.

The Victoria Inn is a perfect location for us to visit relatives in Truro. We enjoyed the carvery with them for dinner and had a fine breakfast the next morning. The room was small but fun and the shower was great. May well stay again if on a quick visit to Truro. All the staff that we met were amazing, all smiles and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was fine. Even the rain stopped when we were loading the car to go and negotiating the outside stairs to our room.

Nice family room. A bit on the small side but you don't travel to Cornwall to sit in your room anyway. Very clean and neat. Great home-made, local food at the pub. Attentive staff. Excellent value for money.

The family room is located almost above the kitchen, so opening the window during daytime may not be the best idea (Perfectly OK during nighttime). However, you are unlikely to spend time (during the daytime) in your room anyway, so it's not that much of a bother.

Stayed for 4 nights, very comfortable bed & pillows. Room had everything you need and great value for money. Nice selection for breakfast, and I also tried the carvery, which was very tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

Maybe for safery an extra light on the steps up to the rooms. But no complaints. I was a bit concerned initially about the noise from the pub but slept well.
