Wendy is a great host. The house is lovely accommodation in a great place for car users. I used the accommodation as a base for visiting my daughter and family and it was very convenient for that and a wide range of Breakfasts are fantastic!

BOOKING.COM feedback system. This is the fourth time attempting to complete the form, the first two not allowing submission by there being no button to submit. On the third time the whole feedback was just lost at the last minute - if it doesn't work this time you can whistle and I'll contact Wendy directly. Owners must wonder why they're paying Booking at all for such a shabby level of service.

Everything. Location was perfect for getting around everywhere in Cornwall. The room was spotlessly clean with lovely French doors onto a terrace. Bed was super comfy. Wendy, our host, made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made our holiday that bit more special. She had lots of ideas of where to go and things to do. Breakfast was really nice and lots of choice. We will definitely go back and would recommend this wonderful accommodation to anyone.

The property is approximately 3 miles from Truro. It is secluded and very quiet. Breakfast was included and was very well presented. Would recommend this property if you want a quiet stay away from noise and hustle/bustle.

There was no food outlet in the local village, so for dinner, we travelled in to Truro. Our host Wendy recommended & booked a lovely spot where the food was excellent.

Very friendly and hospitable host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Fantastic breakfasts ! Property is old but has been modernised to an up-to-date and most compfortable standard.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom. No visitor lounge facility for use in evenings and/or times of bad weather, particularly noticeable when staying for more than one night.

The king room was really clean and beautifully appointed with excellent en suite, great shower. I made use of the doors onto the little garden, where the kind and thoughtful host brought me a pot of tea in the morning. So quiet and peaceful, which is the vibe they aim for. Breakfast was excellent quality, probably the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten.

On arrival I thought I would really miss not having a tv to watch, but this didn’t turn out to be a problem as I really switched off and had some excellent sleep.

Lovely quiet and rural location; very friendly and welcoming hostess, comfortable bed and great wet room. Nice outside sitting area and the breakfasts were fabulous.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room (for early morning cup of tea!).

I only have 1 word to describe this place …..AMAZING!!!! Location= AMAZING Host=AMAZING House= AMAZING Breakfast=AMAZING. Staying in Cornwall? Book here you will not be disappointed. We’re already planning a trip just to go back to stay here with Wendy

The hostess - Wendy is a fantastic hostess, super dedicated, attention to the detail and always making sure everything was okay. The facilities - amazing decoration and attention to the detail, very good taste and pride, you can tell. It makes you feel like home. Bedroom very comfortable and cozy, bathroom very neat and tidy, cleanliness was fantastic. The breakfast - great breakfast homemade daily by Wendy and she always checked with me the day before, what time and what i would like for breakfast.

The only thing i could say i didn't like was probably the floors were a bit squeaky and some taps a bit noisy in the silence of the night, but that's about it.

Property was very clean & tidy. Bed mattress very comfortable with good quality pillows. Location great for the wedding we attended at the barn Pengelly Farm. Breakfast excellent. Wendy was superb, very helpful with great local knowledge and such a lovely lady.

Lovely spot though hard to find. Beautiful gardens, very well appointed house. Breakfasts very good with nice adjustment to my dietary needs. I enjoy the big table breakfast so we can chat and share with other guests. Thanks for the loan of the local maps and the dinner recommendations.
