The location was brilliant, so close to the center, and the house is just gorgeous with beautiful Victorian architecture. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. June was so kind, giving us all the info we needed about our room and what to see nearby. Our room was lovely - warm and quiet with really comfy beds, and all those little extra touches made it feel like home. Oh, and the breakfast was fantastic, especially that home-baked Victoria sponge cake - absolutely delicious! We'd definitely recommend it.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like! We had a wonderful stay.

Great welcome and intro to all the facilities when we arrived. Breakfast was quite adequate for our needs as we never have cooked. Lovely to have use of the kitchen area if required. Great selection of good quality beverages, cereals and pastries. Garden was lovely but the weather did not allow us to spend any time enjoying it. Adequate parking at both front and rear if needed. Close to eating establishments and easy walking into the town centre so did not use the car once we arrived. Local bus services are great, we visited St.Ives and Newquay enjoying the view from on high and no hassle to find a parking space on arrival at our destination.

Only the weather!!

The Townhouse was a brilliant find. We were attending a wedding locally. There is parking, which is hard to find in the city. The hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable. They can recommend places to eat. We used to live in the area so knew our way around. The place is spotless and our room was incredibly comfortable. Spacious and well equipped bathroom too. Everything was so thought out and everything we need was there. The bed was really comfy. I often find that hotel beds are far too soft, but this was just right. There is also a complimentary continental breakfast which you can go in and help your self in the morning. A lovely variety of toast, fruit, cereal and pastries. I enjoyed breakfast whilst sat reading in the bay window the first morning. The location is perfect, such a short walk to the main town. The hill up is a bit steep, just to be warned! Certainly nothing the hosts could do about that :) We would defiantly look to stay again if travelling without our little one.

Nothing, The Townhouses did every thing we need it to.

I was greeted by June who explained everything very thoroughly including escorting me personally to my room and then explaining how the facilities like the shower worked. The small but adequate self service dining area had freshly baked cakes and tea & coffee available on arrival and into the evening which I absolutely loved. The continental breakfast was also functional and perfectly adequate. In addition, June showed me on a local tourist map where all the attractions and best restaurants were located. I opted to go to the Truro Tandoori a few hundred meters from the hotel which was also excellent.

The location of Townhouse Rooms could not have been better. Within a short (downhill) walk of the City Centre but on a quiet residential road in the upmarket part of the City. Lovely, large period townhouse with ample parking front and rear. Our host June could not have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She recommended eating and drinking places close by which proved very useful. We also really liked the "Continental" breakfast room which offered a wide variety of fresh fruit, pastries, juice, toast and lovely mini-pots of jam. Our room, at the top of the house, was probably not the largest on the property but was very spacious for two with a lovely sitting area overlooking the rear garden, which also warrants a special mention. Available to residents, it is a peaceful, very comfortable outdoor space with seating in several areas and well stocked beds. Overall, a lovely stay and a place we have no reservation in recommending

It is a townhouse close to the heart of Truro so you cant expect a huge car park. We needed to park at the rear of the property down an access lane but other than that, nothing to fault.

Excellent Victorian Town house in a good location being about 10 minute walk to Truro town centre and with a number of good restaurants nearby on the walk into town. We particularly recommend the Thomas Daniel, which is only a few minutes walk down from Townhouse rooms. Very clean throughout with good off-road parking. Friendly and welcoming hosts and with the added bonus of a well stocked breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, milk, tea and coffee, yoghurts, etc.; this being despite being told by Booking.com that there was "no food option" with our booking at Townhouse Rooms. We also had the good fortune to have dry, sunny weather during our short stay.

Nothing significant but be aware that whilst the walk into Truro Town Centre is an easy 10 minute stroll downhill, walking back uphill may take a bit longer, especially for people with mobility issues. Not a problem for us though.

The Townhouse is bar far one of the nicest places I have stayed. Greg and June are delightful, so attentive and extremely knowledgable, even made a cake for our arrival. The location is fantastic, 10 minute walk (uphill) from Truro town, we had visited Hall for Cornwall and it was perfectly located. The quality of the room is outstanding, immaculate and the continental breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice accompanied by a morning chat with Greg. We will certainly return.

Nothing, perfection at its best.

A beautiful property. Nestled amongst an area of really lovely buildings. Perfect location towards the top end of Lemon Street. Only a ten minute walk in to the town and a little further to the Cathedral. My room was lovely. Bed was super comfy. En-suite shower - I could have stood in it for hours. June and Greg are the owners and have a real gem in Townhouse. A small but perfect breakfast room welcomes you in the morning before your day gets going.

Great location - convenient for town and very close to our son who lives in Truro. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need. Extra large (four poster) bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast arrangements were very convenient and there was plenty of choice. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended the hotel to others.

Very difficult to find anything to fault. We were always able to park at the front of the property so we didn’t need to find the additional parking at the back of the hotel.

The location was fairly close to everything and it was quiet, that’s important to us. Breakfast was top notch continental and June made delicious fresh cakes every afternoon for guests to enjoy later in the day. Both June and Greg were very informative about the area and were helpful and accommodating in every way! Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended!
