Needed a bed for my sister and her husband close to my house at the end of a holiday. We were flying back late evening so options were limited. Nikki (the host) was so understanding, she went out of her way to take the stress out of arrival time, even after flight times were changed on us and we had delays. She checked in with me regularly, every message reassuring and happy to help. On arrival my family were greeted with hot chocolate and a warm welcome. A very comfy bed in a lovely freshly decorated house. I had a message half an hour after they checked in to thank me for booking them in with such a lovely host. It was as if they'd stayed with a friend. I saw them in the morning, they'd been so well catered for at breakfast they hardly had room for the cup of tea I offered! Whilst we're on the subject breakfast was even postponed a little to allow for a little more sleep due to arriving so late. Above and beyond seems not enough praise. My sister has high standards, 4 star and boutique hotels are the usual order - this stay was easily favorably comparable. The best £90 I've spent this year. We couldn't have chosen better. This is a new business and I'm sure they will soon be very popular, book in before you lose your chance for a guaranteed positive experience. I will definitely be booking again next time I need a room for friends or family to stay nearby. This review form asks for details of anything we didn't like, that box in this case is irrelevant, not a single fault found. Everything was perfect. All that's left to say is thankyou Nikki you've been wonderful.

Nice clean spacious and comfortable room, beautiful bathroom. little extra touches of prosecco, chocolate, biscuits and hot chocolate as well as the standard tea an coffee .were most appreciated. Very friendly and helpful owner Plenty of restaurants and some nice pubs in the town centre

Was a bit surprised that it was someone's home in the middle of a housing estate And would have preferred having a cooked breakfast option but it was clearly expressed and accepted that it was a continental breakfast only. And the pastries on offer were very nice! Was well situated for our planned visit to Longleat although it was a 20 minute walk into Frome which was fine for us but not if you were less able. But if you were happy to drive, there were plenty of car parks in the town centre.

Extremely friendly owners, make you feel very welcome and comfortable! Would definitely recommend! Area felt safe and property was easy enough to find. Range of selection for breakfast and you were able to choose what time you would like you breakfast and if you’d like the heating hotter or cooler. We stayed here to visit longleat safari park and the property was only a 12 minute drive which was ideal and it’s in a great location for other tourist sites.

Our room with ensuite bathroom was spacious and very clean. The very comfortable bed and the quiet location were great for a good night’s sleep. Thoughtful touches of water, fresh milk for tea and coffee and prosecco in the room, and tailoring the breakfast to dietary requirements were really nice and much appreciated. The bathroom was good with a great hot shower. Nicki and Tim were really friendly hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them at breakfast. They generously let us leave our car on the driveway after check-out so that we could walk into town and enjoy Frome market. Thank you Nicki and Tim!

Nicki was a warm and welcoming host and was ready to help if we needed it. Had lots of information on the area. The B&B was lovely nicely decorated clean and spacious. Room was spacious clean well decorated with a nice splash of colour. Bed was really comfortable and appreciated the cushion on bed as well as pillow nice and soft. Lovely bath room with a bath and shower, Was spotless. Towels were nice and fluffy. Mineral water, prosecco and fresh milk in rooms. There was apiece of chocolate each some cookies tea, coffee and hot chocolate which was greatly appreciated. Nice quiet location. Great selection of continental breakfast. Nicki made us some toast when we asked. Taxi to Longleat didn't take long. Would definitely use again.

There was nothing to dislike

Nicki was a friendly and welcoming hostess. She's knowledgable about Frome, insisted on carrying my case upstairs & provided a small bottle of Prosecco + glass as a welcome. A nice touch. The breakfast was generous, self-serve from assorted items and she was solicitous in answering a question before my arrival.

The small handbasin with a large tap in the bathroom! The water splashes about easily & banging one's nose if face washing is a possibility. But Nicki is aware of this issue. There was a stool, but a comfortable chair would make a nice addition - I'm not one for sprawling on the bed to relax...! Otherwise the room I used is spacious, very clean & has a lovely view over the garden.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were visiting an old friend. Nicki welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, as though she’d known us for years. Her home radiates comfort and care, and the conversation flowed so naturally—full of thoughtful insights and gentle laughter. Breakfast was a true delight, the perfect way to start the day with a sense of calm and joy. We may have only just met her, but it felt like coming home. We will definitely return.

Nicki was very welcoming and asked if there was any thing else we needed or wanted to know. We could choose what time we wanted breakfast. The room was light and airy with a comfy bed and good bathroom, there was also what you needed for hot drink making with a little fridge with milk, water and two little bottles of Rose Prosecco (very nice) So all in all a good B&B, would stay there again.

First time staying in what I view as a more traditional B&B, very welcoming, immaculately clean, fantastic facilities provided and great information shared about the town and local events on arrival. We didn’t stay on from breakfast due to prior commitments but looked fresh and welcoming from what we could see. I have no complaints and would happily recommend a stay there for anyone visiting the local area for a warm and welcoming stay! A

The only thing I would change is the bed, mattress was a little uncomfortable in our opinion and the bed needed tightening and moving away from the wall due to making noise, especially if you’re fidgety sleeper.

Great location for The Tree House and Frome parkrun. Very comfy bed in a lovely home. Lovely host who was attentive and went above and beyond. Powerful shower was welcome, as was the biscuits and bottle of fizz and fresh milk for tea/coffee.

Shower was warm but not hot and temperature couldn't seem to be adjusted to make it hotter. It was not cold by any means though.
