We had a wonderful one night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and we really felt and appreciated the effort they put into making our stay comfortable and luxurious. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. We also loved the decor in the breakfast room, and the spacious but cosy living room. The food at breakfast was all excellent.

Great location for completing the Pennine Way. Very friendly owners. Bedrooms and communal rooms all lovely, clean and well decorated. Great breakfast.

The room was very hot after a hot day and we were asked not to open the windows wide due to the midges. Although a fan was provided, it just circulated hot air around the room.

What an incredible place to stay. The location was stunning, the room was immaculate and well presented, the breakfast was freshly made to order every day and cooked to perfection. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay here again and recommend this B&B to everyone.

This family run B&B is great place to stay in Kirk Yetholm. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, great bed, tastefully decorated. Breakfast was lovely, with home-made and locally sourced produce. The Border Inn is 5 minutes walk away for dinner.

It would have been nice to be able to check in earlier than 4pm, especially as a walker. We weren’t sure if facilities for washing clothes were provided as this would have been helpful.

Clare was very lovely and welcoming. The rooms and house are absolutely gorgeous. Perfect location and a lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend for walkers completing the Penine Way. A bit of well earned luxury after a very long walk.

What a lovely stay! The room was clean and fresh. Plenty of towels and lovely soap and toiletries. Great WiFi! Breakfast was fantastic. Claire was the most helpful host, friendly and kind!

Excellent overnight stay at Mill House while walking St Cuthbert's Way. Walkers are welcome, with trays ready for muddy boots. Very comfortable room, and an excellent breakfast to set us up for the next day's walk.

Mill House is absolutely wonderful! Fantastic hosts, lovely rooms, amazing breakfast. Makes for an overall brilliant stay for the myriad of people traversing the area. A thoroughly recommended place to stay.

Stunning location and house. Breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented. Host was very helpful and we felt privileged to share her home. Lovely detail with refreshments in the room.
