We stayed two nights. Amazing hosts (Rachel and Doug) with super friendly welcome. Very comfy and spacious room (we were in the “bathtub” one). Very nice set up with the tea room and shop directly attached to the B&B. Breakfast was very enjoyable with cereals, pastries, hot chocolate (or tea, coffee ect…) and even a full English breakfast if you felt like it. Plenty of interesting places to visit around, and icing on the cake the Ford village is just unique, absolutely gorgeous. Big thank you to Rachel and Doug. Cheers, J-F and Mekayla

Our hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom had tea/coffee making facilities . Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, you could order a traditional/ or vegetarian cooked breakfast. Alongside cereal, yogurt, pastries, toast/marmalade & tea and coffee. The adjoining shop and post office had a variety of supplies and gifts to buy which was well stocked. The surrounding area was very beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife to see and enjoy, with local attractions close by. 2 very pleasant pubs serving enjoyable meals at reasonable prices just a short drive from the B&B . I would highly recommend staying there. Not far from the B&B is Lindisfarne and the Farne Islands, making for excellent days out, also Bamburgh Castle and enjoyable beaches and walks. A most enjoyable week spent exploring the area with still plenty to go back and explore at some future point.

An excellent b and b. Lovely room, spacious en-suite bathroom, very comfy bed and an excellent breakfast. Every inch of the place was spotless. Situated in a beautiful village with easy access to many of the best attractions in both Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Rachel and Doug were the perfect hosts, friendly, attentive and always willing to help. This is a new venture for them and we are sure they will succeed and know they deserve to! Highly recommended! P.S. Our dog loved it too.
Nothing.

Nice big room with large bathroom in a beautiful old building, with all facilities. Beautiful quiet surroundings, that is: the only thing we could hear was birds singing. Lots of birds, beautiful singing, there might even have been a nightingale. Really relaxing. Breakfast was nice, very friendly. For dinner, there are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes driving. We particularly liked The Black Bull Inn in Lowick.

Cheerful and friendly hosts, tasty and filling breakfasts, comfortable and clean B&B. Wonderful estate village location, attractive cottages, village hall, historic church and castle - ad the same in twin village Etal.
No general store in the village - but the B&B also has a cafe and nearby Heatherslaw Corn Mill has a shop for tourists.

A friendly welcome and service throughout Breakfast was excellent - generous and tasty including fresh leaf tea. Very dog friendly and peaceful spot.
Not that we didn't like but room could benefit from a chair ? and whilst difficult to remedy, a bit better sound proofing to adjoining room (occasionally could hear louder talking on phone conversation)

Lovely quaint and picturesque place to stay in a quiet and charming part of Northumberland. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we expected (bed, bathroom, TV, Tea making facilities). Breakfast was great.
The only thing missing from the room was a chair for somewhere to sit not on the bed. Very minor.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was great for visiting local area, Bamburgh, Holy Island and Seahouses. Not far from A1 so easy access to anywhere. We will visit again. Thank you
The only thing I would suggest is maybe a couple of chairs in room.
