Loved the hotel, it was like being welcomed to an old friends home. Every member of staff without exception made you feel looked after, without being over the top. Absolutely the perfect small village hotel. Breakfast amazing, one of us had continental other full English - beautifully coked and presented. If you want a quiet hotel in a quiet village for a relaxing, chill time this is the place to go. Would definitely go back. Thank you all ❤️

Didn’t dislike anything, we were directed to the hotel a 2 minute walk away for evening meal which to be fair was nice to stroll along to. Going by your breakfast and lunch, if you did evening meals, oh my word I am sure they would be splendid too. Wishing you every success going forward 🙂

A lovely room in a charming and peaceful village. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and had good communication ahead of our stay. The breakfast was delicious.

The facilities state that there is an EV charger available, and as we chose the hotel specifically for that. We were stopping to break up a 400 mile journey and were relying on the charger to top up for the next leg. Whilst there is a public charger very close to the hotel, it is a council one that needs mobile signal to work, and it was in a position where it did not get signal. This ultimately added a couple of hours to our journey charging elsewhere.

This was a wonderful whole package. The room was spacious, the room had what we needed and a few extras, bottled water and bickies to have with tea and coffee. The shower was strong and hot and the large bath sheets were fluffy. The down stairs bar area had a fire and a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. It included breakfast and we both had the full English which was delicious. Once again the staff were accommodating. It is a small village but worth being a little out of town. We really enjoyed our stay.

absolutely stunning breakfast, beautifully presented and all local produce. DELICIOUS. You are asked on arrival what you would like for breakfast and its prepared freshly for the time you set. fantastic service all round.

There was nothing we didn't like and we will stay again! the rooms are beautifully presented as is the whole hotel the staff are all a credit to the team and themselves. Don't forget to go back for the Sunday lunch which was also fantastic. cannot recommend it enough 10/10

The hotel was very friend, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, The room was fresh, clean and exceeded what i was expecting. location is great only 10 minutes from Berwick and loads of free parking outside hotel. On arrival was made very welcome.

The WiFi didn't work in room but this maybe done to location of hotel, managed to use my phone WiFi so wasn't a problem, slight noise from fridge below but when TV on you cant here it. none of these would prevent me rebooting again.

Nice and comfortable hotel in a small village. Excellent breakfast cooked to order (well, at a set time). Good bed and best shower in UK during two weeks' trip. Pub downstairs - good for drinks, closes quite early so no too much noise at the night.

Note that cafe downstairs only serves lunch, and other opportunities for eating out in Norham are limited. This hotel was an excellent place for a night's rest in a trip, but I would not spend a lot of time in Norham.

In a lovely quiet but friendly village near many areas of interest. A very large airy room with a comfortable bed. All spotlessly clean.

We weren't aware until we tried to book that evening meals aren't provided. Not a big issue as there's another pub 2 minutes walk away that does do food, but a shame nonetheless. In the morning we had no hot water - which to be fair they fixed but by then we were up and had had breakfast after a cold but invogorating wash :-)

The hotel was perfect staff very helpful, x I took my mom, who was 88 and not too good on her feet . They were so nice to her nothing was too much trouble . The meal at their sister pub was amazing. xx my 3-year-old grand daughter said was the best part of the holiday xx thank you for a wonderful stay. I wish it had been longer and will be back

What a gem of a place! Beautifully decorated bedrooms and bathroom The staff were so welcoming and helpful Fabulous bar area with a lovely atmosphere Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will return when we are back in the area.

We look forward to returning when the bistro is fully up & running. Unfortunately for this stay it hadn’t yet started to serve food. If the breakfast is an example of the quality of the food and service however, then the bistro will be equally exceptional we are sure.

Very attractive hotel, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Lovely breakfast, quiet bar. Staff were so helpful,eg taking care to explain where the back entrance to hotel was, in case we were back late. The windows were fully opened, so our rooms were very fresh and cool in the afternoon heat.

As there were 2 of us, another chair would have been good - or a spare in the bathroom.
