I was on a diving weekend out of the harbour and the hotel was perfectly placed and the facilities were great. Spacious room, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. Tea and Coffee facilities were very welcome. Garage across the road was well stocked and the coffee and bacon sandwich in the morning was perfect. Easy location to get to and straight down to the harbour for the early morning cast off so perfect!

Maybe an affiliate partnership with another business that could do a cooked breakfast for this who want it?

Eyesleepover was exceptional. My room was on the ground floor, beautifully quiet, and with toiletries provided. I was very comfortable. Lovely sofa type seats were great. The lighting was very good. There was a large carpark attached to the accommodation. The receptionist was lovely, and explained the locality for me. I ate in the super pub called The Contented Sole in the harbour, which was a few minutes walk away. I was delighted with this property.

Socket for phone charging by the bed would have been great, but there were sockets over the desk.

A large room with a decent size shelf area and double sofa type seat, which is unusual. Double bed was comfortable and there was a proper bathroom with a shower/ bath combination. Also, good wi-fi and ample parking. Another plus is the garage/Spar/Jetwash, just opposite the entrance.

If I am being really picky--Wasn't keen on the high sides to bath. I am quite agile but found it a little difficult to climb in and stand up, without slipping, especially as there were no grips or rails to grab on to. But this only a minor complaint on a decent hotel in a really pleasant area, at which I booked an extra night, with the helpful manager

Had a problem with the booking.., OK well I booked the wrong dates, called up and they were able to accommodate us and swapped the dates, which was great, also I emailed to say I would be arriving after 8pm, to which was no problem and they called and sent a txt to say key card would be left at tbe garage opisit the accommodation. Rooms a good size, clean, just what we needed for a couple of nites stay

Great little hotel, we stayed for one night as a stop on our way down from a trip in the Cairngorms. Room has all you need, bed is comfortable and extra pillows provided. Staff were very friendly and offered recommendations for places to have breakfast and dinner. Short walk to the town centre and the harbour and beach. Would stay again.

Noise can travel if you have the misfortune of getting noisy neighbours.

From the moment we got there until the moment we left, we were happy lovely stuff spotlessly clean everything we needed quiet comfortable if I could give it 10 stars I would the man that greeted us and checked in was absolutely wonderful super friendly, kind, and happy it makes all the difference

It was comfortable not fussy quick easy to book in. It was really good for my disabled sons. I requested a room next door to ours for the boys and they gave it us. It was perfect.

Great value for money as the room was spacious, very clean and the staff member who checked us in was very friendly and informative. Ideal for a stopover for a tour around Scotland as it is just over the border. Ample car parking.

Nothing to fault. It is a fair way to the town but it is within walking distance and as it is room only don’t expect breakfast.

Alex the host was so helpful. We were cycling and arrived late due to mechanical issues, he came and sorted us out when we arrived late. Helped store our bikes securely. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Thank you Alex

The people in the next room had their TV loud and we could hear it through the wall. But not unbearable.

Spotlessly clean. I arrived late, but they'd left a key in a safe place and were lovely when I called to get in. Good sized car park. Great location. Lovely town. Worth a walk into the town, although it was dead by 9.30pm. I loved the place and I only chose it because it was convenient to come off the A1 on my way from Edinburgh to London. A nice find.

It's a shame they don't do breakfast. Buzzing from the industrial buildings opposite all night.

Location good - breakfast wasn’t an option as we ate out each day …

As in any walk of life, there are some people who can close doors quietly, having regard for other users - then there are the numpties who feel the need to slam doors etc … idiots … fortunately, the numpties eventually settled down or left and so peace reigned …
