This Hotel is situated on the sea front next to a working harbor. It's a small village and easy to walk around with local restaurants and pubs. The room was overlooking the sea and was comfortable, well equipped with tea/coffee and biscuits. Small but functional bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast was good 👍 lots of choice and staff friendly. We felt this hotel was good value for money . Free parking right at the front of the hotel . Nice coastal walks and easy road access to the next beach side towns .

There wasn't anything we didn't like

I had a problem with access. My phone, the final information re access needs to be on a single email, Not at the end of long series of information. I had been to The Faroe islands and my phone wouldnt give me all the previous access information. I had remembered the Room Number but not the code. So that after a long day, and a delayed flight, plus the drive from Edinburgh, I was not at my brightest. Fortunately a couple, who had also been on the flight (amazingly) were just going out for a meal, and told me. So my problem solved.

The home arms guest house was in a fantastic location overlooking the bay. Enjoyed walking around eyemouth and lots of eating places in the village. The room was basic but very comfortable. Shower was ok but I'm used to a power shower. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful and you eat in the kitchen. Many attractions around the area to visit. We went to Berwick-upon-Tweed St Abbs and a lovely little bay to sit and watch people body boarding. Saw loads of seals in the harbour.

From check in to check out, everything was easy. Very clean spacious room with a nice bath & shower room. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of cereal, bread, spreads, yogurt & fruit. Cooked breakfast was served after helping ourselves to the above and hit the spot well, nice sausage, bacon and the egg was cooked the way I asked. Great location

If I had to be critical, the only let down was the WiFi. My mobile didn’t have great service inside and the WiFi had slow speed.

A lovely Guesthouse in the lovely town of Eyemouth. Excellent location in the High Street looking over the scenic bay. With free parking. The staff were efficient, they keep yo well informed to ensure it is easy to enter to your room. The room has all you needvery clean and comfortable. Short walk to all amenities. Included in the charge is a freshly cooked breakfast in the dining room overlooking the bay. Self checkout is so easy. I would highly recommend this gem.

Great location, great breakfast, easy and free parking with co-op nextdoor if required Jade was very helpful when we’d asked for extra bedding as we didn’t specify this in the booking - much appreciated!

WiFi did seem somewhat intermittent at times and there wasn’t much phone signal in the Hotel (presumably the thicker walls) It seemed the hotel were aware of the issues as they’d noted on the welcome sheet about contacting them with any Internet issues, however it was later at night when it wasn’t working well Nothing wrong with the hotel itself or its actual facilities!

Location was great, with free parking. The property is tired and basic - needs a refresh but is ok. Bed comfy. Yvonne who cooked breakfast was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious.

Mould in shower. Shower started dripping when others in the building were having showers. Better lighting outside bedroom, without having to dodge back to stairs to switch the landing light on, would have made me feel more secure.

because it is a self check in and an email was sent on the day of our arrival , which being on the road we did not get. there was some confusion getting in. I finally contacted Jade and got her to send a text message but an American couple could get no signal and it took them a long while to get in. I fully appreciate it says a self check in property but better arrangement need to be made, notifying people earlier than the day of their arrival for a start

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice for both the continental and the cooked. The cooked breakfast was freshly prepared to order and the morning staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were really clean and the beds super comfy, there was plenty of towels in the bathroom and there was a hairdryer and shampoo and body wash provided by the property. There is also quite a lot of choice when it comes to pubs and places to drink and eat outside of the property too!

No one there at the time of check in but the information for how to check in was sent by text message and was really easy to follow :) . I travelled with my mam who has low mobility and there was a lot of stairs to get to our room, not a negative, just something to consider when booking.

Super place, facilities were excellent and clean. Location is really good, 20 mtrs from the beach front and with great access to cliff walks. I was able to have a swim in the morning and back in for breakfast in 10 mins (it was 2 deg C!), the breakfast was really good.

I only saw on member of staff in my overnight and that was the young lady who served breakfast and possibly made it, not sure. The breakfast was really good and the service was absolutely fine so I was very happy, but just a note, the young lady was a little bit grumpy or dour, no big deal at all and did a very good job but not exactly sunny disposition if you know what I mean. Definitely did her job well and thats all we really need.
