Great location for seeing the local area, whether travelling by car or going for a walk. Restaurant and bar open Wednesday to Sunday, didn't try the food but it was busy at times. Comfortable bed, facilities great with kettle, toaster, microwave, hairdryer and iron provided.

Not very clean, stains on the carpets, dusty areas, dirty marks on doors/window boards. possibly could do with a fresh coat of paint throughout the room. No shelf or hooks in bathroom

This property was perfect for what we needed; a stop off on the way to Edinburgh. The lad behind the bar was very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious for three of us with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. It was also very clean. We popped into the bar for a quick drink before bed, it was very welcoming and reasonably priced. Despite being on the main road, the traffic noise did not keep us awake. We barely heard it.

There was no wifi in the rooms and I needed to do some work.

Value for money. On site parking free. Very clean with fresh bed linen. Proprietor gave us information of where we could get evening meal and breakfast as no food provided as part of the cost and location was drive away from facilities in Eyemouth. Although, in room facilities included tea / coffee and microwave.

I am a bit concerned about fire instructions as there wasn’t any although our room was located on the ground floor with what appeared to be a fire safe door and smoke alarm. Another guest asked me about food and was not happy that proprietor had not given them information?

The friendly staff showed us to our room and explained the meal options. The room was a large size and had a large comfortable lounge chair. We had a comfortable night’s sleep in this quiet location. The wifi was good.

A hook for towels in the bathroom and mention that the toaster was available inside the wardrobe.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was outstanding. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. It had everything you needed.

One of the reasons we stayed was that they offered local gluten free battered fish. On our stay they couldn’t do the battered fish but offered a unbattered option.

Property was perfectly located on our way back to the ferry from our visit to the highlands and major Scottish cities. Staff were very friendly and accommodations were a great size and and excellent amenities. Restaurant/Pub next door had amazing fish and chips. Great spot for a last Scottish pint before crossing back into England. Stories were plentiful and the welcome from the local patrons was warm and inviting.

The room was clean and was well equipped , the bed and bathroom was clean, so all good. An easy location to find.

I could not get the correct temperature in the shower, it was too hot for me, I gave up in the end, we were only staying one night anyway.

Super accommodation in a building completely separate from the bar and restaurant ! Easy access and perfect parking. Really impressive large room with lovely large comfy bed. Impressive facilities which included, microwave, toaster, biscuits, plenty of tea, coffee etc. spacious, airy, private and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Great spot to stop for the night, just off the highway. Clean room and comfy beds. The bar is small, but the locals share good stories. Because other reviews suggested the restaurant wasn't always available, we stopped in the local town for dinner before checking in.

There's a bit of road noise, so we opened the garden window for fresh air instead.

Lucy and Adrian were absolutely amazing when Booking.com had confirmed my booking which turned out to be an over booking. They welcomed me into their own home, not wanting me to be left with no accommodation. I was also fed a wonderful meal to help mitigate the mistake. What kind and generous hosts. Bless you.
