We stayed two nights. Amazing hosts (Rachel and Doug) with super friendly welcome. Very comfy and spacious room (we were in the “bathtub” one). Very nice set up with the tea room and shop directly attached to the B&B. Breakfast was very enjoyable with cereals, pastries, hot chocolate (or tea, coffee ect…) and even a full English breakfast if you felt like it. Plenty of interesting places to visit around, and icing on the cake the Ford village is just unique, absolutely gorgeous. Big thank you to Rachel and Doug. Cheers, J-F and Mekayla

Our hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom had tea/coffee making facilities . Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, you could order a traditional/ or vegetarian cooked breakfast. Alongside cereal, yogurt, pastries, toast/marmalade & tea and coffee. The adjoining shop and post office had a variety of supplies and gifts to buy which was well stocked. The surrounding area was very beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife to see and enjoy, with local attractions close by. 2 very pleasant pubs serving enjoyable meals at reasonable prices just a short drive from the B&B . I would highly recommend staying there. Not far from the B&B is Lindisfarne and the Farne Islands, making for excellent days out, also Bamburgh Castle and enjoyable beaches and walks. A most enjoyable week spent exploring the area with still plenty to go back and explore at some future point.

An excellent b and b. Lovely room, spacious en-suite bathroom, very comfy bed and an excellent breakfast. Every inch of the place was spotless. Situated in a beautiful village with easy access to many of the best attractions in both Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Rachel and Doug were the perfect hosts, friendly, attentive and always willing to help. This is a new venture for them and we are sure they will succeed and know they deserve to! Highly recommended! P.S. Our dog loved it too.
Nothing.

Jenny and Graham are fabulous hosts. Full of knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Breakfast is to die for and you probably won't need to eat again in the day unless you have room for a coffee and cake from their post office shop too. Ford Village is a wonderfully quaint setting with its own castle and bespoke history and well worth a wander. We stayed in the double bedroom which is quiet, clean and warm with tea/coffee making facilities. Nothing is too much trouble, if you need something.. just ask. Booked for 3 nights and stayed for 4 as it's central for so many points of interest. Will certainly stay again when were back in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Nice to be onsite and able to spend a local day. But close enough to Berwick to nip over to Spittal or up to Wooler Common or further out. Room is clean and fresh. Food was good. Nice big bathroom with the room I was in. Hosts were very friendly.
Post Office was shut when I arrived and confusing which door to knock on. Not a problem - just caused a little uncertainty.

The room was very spacious and bed very comfy. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely recommend for people to stay here. There is plenty of places to visit. There is a tea room and shop attached to the bed and breakfast which is lovely. The village in which the B and B is located is absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely superb location with easy access to some lovely walks, the coast and areas of historical interest. The full English breakfast was amazing with the added delight of fresh pastries each morning. Lots of interesting items in the shop with a nice outside area to enjoy a coffee and food. A trip to Berwick I worthwhile with an interesting walk around the town walls and battlements. The area has sooooo much to offer and a week simply wouldn't be enough time to explore this lovely part of the UK.
Absolutely nothing

Excellent bed and breakfast. Close to Holy Island (our intended destination) but also many more attractions in Ford and Etal than we had expected
The only demerit was a lack of an additional hand rail at the bath, to negotiate climbing in and out to use the shower, but after enquiry we learnt that one of the rooms had a walk-in shower.
