Eyesleepover was exceptional. My room was on the ground floor, beautifully quiet, and with toiletries provided. I was very comfortable. Lovely sofa type seats were great. The lighting was very good. There was a large carpark attached to the accommodation. The receptionist was lovely, and explained the locality for me. I ate in the super pub called The Contented Sole in the harbour, which was a few minutes walk away. I was delighted with this property.

Socket for phone charging by the bed would have been great, but there were sockets over the desk.

A large room with a decent size shelf area and double sofa type seat, which is unusual. Double bed was comfortable and there was a proper bathroom with a shower/ bath combination. Also, good wi-fi and ample parking. Another plus is the garage/Spar/Jetwash, just opposite the entrance.

If I am being really picky--Wasn't keen on the high sides to bath. I am quite agile but found it a little difficult to climb in and stand up, without slipping, especially as there were no grips or rails to grab on to. But this only a minor complaint on a decent hotel in a really pleasant area, at which I booked an extra night, with the helpful manager

Great little hotel, we stayed for one night as a stop on our way down from a trip in the Cairngorms. Room has all you need, bed is comfortable and extra pillows provided. Staff were very friendly and offered recommendations for places to have breakfast and dinner. Short walk to the town centre and the harbour and beach. Would stay again.

Noise can travel if you have the misfortune of getting noisy neighbours.

From the moment we got there until the moment we left, we were happy lovely stuff spotlessly clean everything we needed quiet comfortable if I could give it 10 stars I would the man that greeted us and checked in was absolutely wonderful super friendly, kind, and happy it makes all the difference

It was comfortable not fussy quick easy to book in. It was really good for my disabled sons. I requested a room next door to ours for the boys and they gave it us. It was perfect.

Spotlessly clean. I arrived late, but they'd left a key in a safe place and were lovely when I called to get in. Good sized car park. Great location. Lovely town. Worth a walk into the town, although it was dead by 9.30pm. I loved the place and I only chose it because it was convenient to come off the A1 on my way from Edinburgh to London. A nice find.

It's a shame they don't do breakfast. Buzzing from the industrial buildings opposite all night.

As in any walk of life, there are some people who can close doors quietly, having regard for other users - then there are the numpties who feel the need to slam doors etc … idiots … fortunately, the numpties eventually settled down or left and so peace reigned …

Very friendly staff- Alex was lovely! Lovely, spacious, clean room.

Hubby thought the bed was fine, but I thought it was a bit hard. No face washer provided (although it seams that's normal in the UK?) The shower has a curtain 🤢 and there was no way to stop it sticking 😔 There is a factory over the road whiring all night. We heard the people above us, sounded like they were stomping around, so not very soundproof in that direction. Looks like a lot of complaints but they are all really small things and we actually enjoyed our stay! 😁

Easy to find from the A1. Very pleasant reception staff. Very clean room with tea and coffee facilities, comfortable bed and a good shower. Super price for room only. Garage opposite sells food and coffee if needed and good selection of food delivery firms available. Overnight stop for us and worked out well.

A small and quiet place to stay and good value. You have to go into town to find food but you can walk and it isn't far. Although on the main road it is still very quiet. A clean room but with only the bare minimum of cosmetics and tea and coffee. Rosie was lovely and very helpful. It was very handy for a couple of nights to visit St Abbs and walk out to the heads.

Location was excellent Close to town (walk back up bank all the way ) Clean . Reception guy explained everything very friendly We got a second floor room which was excellent as I could leave the window open all night

Very small TV with very few channels.As partially sighted I found it not much use . Room bit dated but very clean . And why do you never get enough tea bags and milk
